Vygotsky Distance
Vygotsky distance, a concept rooted in sociocultural learning theory, is being explored as a metric for evaluating task similarity in various domains, particularly in artificial intelligence. Current research focuses on applying this measure to optimize benchmark datasets for natural language processing models, reducing redundancy and improving generalization, and also to enhance the diversity of machine learning ensembles. This work aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of AI model development and evaluation, ultimately leading to more robust and generalizable systems across diverse applications.
