Abstract

Joint video super-resolution and deblurring (VSRDB) requires both efficient long-range temporal modeling and robustness to frame-wise exposure-duration variation, which changes the extent of motion blur across video frames. We propose FMA-Net++, a non-recurrent, sequence-level framework built from Hierarchical Refinement with Bidirectional Aggregation (HRBA) blocks. By stacking HRBA blocks, FMA-Net++ processes video frames in parallel while hierarchically expanding the temporal receptive field, avoiding the limited temporal receptive field of sliding-window designs and the sequential bottleneck of recurrent ones. To handle exposure-duration-dependent blur, we introduce an Exposure Time-aware Modulation (ETM) layer that conditions HRBA features on exposure embeddings from an Exposure Time-aware Feature Extractor (ETE). The conditioned features guide an exposure-aware flow-guided dynamic filtering module to predict motion- and exposure-aware degradation kernels. FMA-Net++ decouples degradation learning from restoration: the former predicts degradation priors and the latter exploits them for efficient high-resolution restoration. To evaluate VSRDB under controlled exposure-duration variation, we introduce the REDS-ME (multi-exposure) and REDS-RE (random-exposure) benchmarks. Trained solely on synthetic data, FMA-Net++ achieves state-of-the-art accuracy and temporal consistency on these benchmarks. It further shows strong out-of-distribution performance on GoPro and challenging real-world videos, while outperforming recent methods in both restoration quality and inference speed.

RealVDeblur: One-Step Diffusion for Generalizable Real-World Video Deblurring

Real-world video deblurring remains challenging due to diverse motion patterns, complex degradations, and the scarcity of realistic training data, yet robust restoration is critical for downstream pipelines such as mobile imaging and 3D reconstruction. This work presents \textbf{RealVDeblur}, an efficient generative framework designed to improve in-the-wild robustness under diverse real capture conditions. First, a large-scale, physically grounded blur synthesis pipeline is constructed from scene-level 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) assets and high-frame-rate videos, providing realistic training data covering both camera-induced and object-motion blur. Second, a video diffusion prior is leveraged for restoration; to better accommodate frame-dependent blur variations, temporal compression in the VAE is disabled and a frame-wise encoding scheme is adopted. For practical deployment on long videos, multi-step diffusion sampling is distilled into an efficient one-step generator, and a training-free Temporal Window Mask stabilizes inference beyond the training horizon with constant memory usage. Extensive experiments on diverse real-world benchmarks demonstrate strong perceptual quality, semantic fidelity, and temporal consistency on unseen videos, as well as improved robustness in downstream 3D reconstruction under severe motion blur. Frames2Residual: Spatiotemporal Decoupling for Self-Supervised Video Denoising

Self-supervised video denoising methods typically extend image-based frameworks into the temporal dimension, yet they often struggle to integrate inter-frame temporal consistency with intra-frame spatial specificity. Existing Video Blind-Spot Networks (BSNs) require noise independence by masking the center pixel, this constraint prevents the use of spatial evidence for texture recovery, thereby severing spatiotemporal correlations and causing texture loss. To address this, we propose Frames2Residual (F2R), a spatiotemporal decoupling framework that explicitly divides self-supervised training into two distinct stages: blind temporal consistency modeling and non-blind spatial texture recovery. In Stage 1, a blind temporal estimator learns inter-frame consistency using a frame-wise blind strategy, producing a temporally consistent anchor. In Stage 2, a non-blind spatial refiner leverages this anchor to safely reintroduce the center frame and recover intra-frame high-frequency spatial residuals while preserving temporal stability. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our decoupling strategy allows F2R to outperform existing self-supervised methods on both sRGB and raw video benchmarks.

MotionCraft: Latent World Modeling with Sparse Attention for Visual Upscaling

Video super-resolution (VSR) aims to recover high-fidelity high-resolution videos from low-resolution inputs and is central to applications ranging from mobile capture to streaming and archival restoration. Existing approaches trade off among local-detail fidelity, long-range spatio-temporal modeling, perceptual realism, and efficiency: convolutional alignment techniques preserve local structure but suffer when motion is large or degradations are complex; transformer-based methods capture long-range dependencies yet require architectural or algorithmic adaptations to remain computationally feasible; and recent latent or diffusion-based generators synthesize rich texture but require specialized temporal constraints to maintain coherence. We present MotionCraft, a controllable VSR framework that formulates restoration as motion-aware latent state prediction inspired by world models and integrates adaptive sparse attention with an explicit user-accessible control interface. MotionCraft combines robust motion fusion, a Latent World Transformer that balances locality and targeted non-local interactions, and a compact conditional decoder to deliver temporally consistent, high-quality reconstructions under streaming constraints. Empirical evaluations show that MotionCraft achieves strong reconstruction and perceptual performance while enabling predictable trade-offs between temporal smoothness and reconstruction fidelity.
