Abstract

Textile pattern generation (TPG) aims to synthesize fine-grained textile pattern images based on given clothing images. Although previous studies have not explicitly investigated TPG, existing image-to-image models appear to be natural candidates for this task. However, when applied directly, these methods often produce unfaithful results, failing to preserve fine-grained details due to feature confusion between complex textile patterns and the inherent non-rigid texture distortions in clothing images. In this paper, we propose a novel method, SLDDM-TPG, for faithful and high-fidelity TPG. Our method consists of two stages: (1) a latent disentangled network (LDN) that resolves feature confusion in clothing representations and constructs a multi-dimensional, independent clothing feature space; and (2) a semi-supervised latent diffusion model (S-LDM), which receives guidance signals from LDN and generates faithful results through semi-supervised diffusion training, combined with our designed fine-grained alignment strategy. Extensive evaluations show that SLDDM-TPG reduces FID by 4.1 and improves SSIM by up to 0.116 on our CTP-HD dataset, and also demonstrate good generalization on the VITON-HD dataset.

RAGDiffusion++: From Macro-Retrieval to Micro-Fidelity Alignment for Garment Generation

Standard clothing asset generation---restoring forward-facing flat-lay garment images from diverse real-world contexts---holds immense commercial value yet demands both macroscopic topological accuracy and microscopic physical fidelity. Although our previous work RAGDiffusion effectively eradicated large-scale structural hallucinations via retrieval-augmented macro-constraints, achieving industrial-grade micro-texture realism remains an unsolved bottleneck. We formally identify this limitation as High-Frequency Trajectory Collapse: supervised fine-tuning (SFT) converges to the conditional mean of the training distribution, which is dominated by smooth, low-frequency textures, causing high-frequency patterns (e.g., fabric weaves, intricate logos) to become nearly un-sampleable. Naively applying Reinforcement Learning (RL) post-training further triggers Artifact Hacking, where models exploit semantic biases in generic reward models by generating deceptive checkerboard noise. Our key insight is that RL can fundamentally reshape the sampling distribution of flow models---elevating the probability of high-fidelity trajectories under accurate reward guidance---while adversarial regularization prevents exploitation of reward blind spots. Realizing this principle requires three prerequisites: (i)inherent capacity, established through a 27,725-pair high-complexity garment dataset (STGarment-Plus) and a Dual-Image-Stream FLUX architecture upgrade; (ii)perceptive reward, provided by a novel attribute-aware reward model (Garment-RM) trained on 500K images via fine-grained contrastive learning, achieving 84.67% human preference accuracy; and (iii)hacking prevention, enforced by our Adversarial-Regularized GRPO (AR-GRPO) strategy that integrates a dynamic discriminator into the RL sampling trajectory to penalize artifacts while enriching authentic high-frequency details.

Visually-Guided Controllable Medical Image Generation via Fine-Grained Semantic Disentanglement

Medical image synthesis is crucial for alleviating data scarcity and privacy constraints. However, fine-tuning general text-to-image (T2I) models remains challenging, mainly due to the significant modality gap between complex visual details and abstract clinical text. In addition, semantic entanglement persists, where coarse-grained text embeddings blur the boundary between anatomical structures and imaging styles, thus weakening controllability during generation. To address this, we propose a Visually-Guided Text Disentanglement framework. We introduce a cross-modal latent alignment mechanism that leverages visual priors to explicitly disentangle unstructured text into independent semantic representations. Subsequently, a Hybrid Feature Fusion Module (HFFM) injects these features into a Diffusion Transformer (DiT) through separated channels, enabling fine-grained structural control. Experimental results in three datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms existing approaches in terms of generation quality and significantly improves performance on downstream classification tasks. Concept Guidance: Precise, Training-Free Latent Control for Text-to-Image Generation

Text-to-image diffusion models have two major drawbacks that severely limit their practical utility: (1) standard models lack an intrinsic mechanism for continuous, concept-specific guidance (e.g., for precisely controlling how aesthetically pleasing an image looks), and (2) they lack reliability for tasks requiring high local coherence (e.g., generating text or human hands). To tackle these issues, we introduce a novel notion of concept-wise mutual information and find large, concept-dependent differences between individual layers, demonstrating that the generation of specific structures is localized in distinct parts of the network. We exploit this insight by reinforcing the impact of concept-relevant layers in Concept Guidance (CoG), a precise, target-specific guidance method that works for models out-of-the-box without additional training, external models, gradients, or prompt engineering. CoG first quantifies each layer's concept-specific impact and then guides denoising using a weighted combination of predictions generated with concept-relevant layers skipped. We demonstrate performance increases across various targets and popular models like PixArt-alpha, SD3, SD3.5, and FLUX.1-dev. Code is available at https://github.com/CompVis/concept_guidance
