Abstract

Parametric Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is fundamental to modern 3D modeling, yet existing methods struggle to generate long command sequences, especially under complex geometric and topological dependencies. Transformer-based architectures dominate CAD sequence generation due to their strong dependency modeling, but their quadratic attention cost and limited context windowing hinder scalability to long programs. We propose GeoFusion-CAD, an end-to-end diffusion framework for scalable and structure-aware generation. Our proposal encodes CAD programs as hierarchical trees, jointly capturing geometry and topology within a state-space diffusion process. Specifically, a lightweight C-Mamba block models long-range structural dependencies through selective state transitions, enabling coherent generation across extended command sequences. To support long-sequence evaluation, we introduce DeepCAD-240, an extended benchmark that increases the sequence length ranging from 40 to 240 while preserving sketch-extrusion semantics from the ABC dataset. Extensive experiments demonstrate that GeoFusion-CAD achieves superior performance on both short and long command ranges, maintaining high geometric fidelity and topological consistency where Transformer-based models degrade. Our approach sets new state-of-the-art scores for long-sequence parametric CAD generation, establishing a scalable foundation for next-generation CAD modeling systems. Code and datasets are available at GitHub.

Computer-Aided Design Generation by Cascaded Discrete Diffusion Model

Recent deep learning approaches seek to automate CAD creation by representing a model as a sequence of discrete commands and parameters, and then generating them using autoregressive models or continuous diffusion operating in Euclidean embedding space. However, continuous diffusion perturbs representations in a continuous Euclidean domain that does not reflect the inherently discrete and heterogeneous nature of CAD tokens, often producing perturbed representations that map to semantically invalid symbols. To overcome this limitation, we propose a cascaded discrete diffusion framework for CAD generation, which consists of a command diffusion for generating CAD commands and a parameter diffusion conditioned on CAD commands. Unlike isotropic Gaussian perturbation, the forward process of our approach operates directly over categorical token distributions using delicate transition matrices. For commands, we adopt an absorbing-state transition matrix that progressively corrupts tokens to a designated symbol; for parameters, we introduce specific transition matrices tailored to heterogeneous attributes: a Gaussian kernel for coordinate continuity, a scale-invariant kernel for dimensional values, and a prior-preserving kernel for boolean attributes. The reverse process is achieved by two denoising networks: a Transformer-based encoder for command recovery, and a parameter network with extra local self-attention for command-level interaction and cross-attention for conditional injection. Experiments on the DeepCAD dataset show that the proposed approach surpasses existing autoregressive and continuous diffusion models on unconditional generation metrics, while qualitative results validate effective controllability in conditional generation tasks. Source codes will be released.

Mamba-CAD: State Space Model For 3D Computer-Aided Design Generative Modeling

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) generative modeling has a strong and long-term application in the industry. Recently, the parametric CAD sequence as the design logic of an object has been widely mined by sequence models. However, the industrial CAD models, especially in component objects, are fine-grained and complex, requiring a longer parametric CAD sequence to define. To address the problem, we introduce Mamba-CAD, a self-supervised generative modeling for complex CAD models in the industry, which can model on a longer parametric CAD sequence. Specifically, we first design an encoder-decoder framework based on a Mamba architecture and pair it with a CAD reconstruction task for pre-training to model the latent representation of CAD models; and then we utilize the learned representation to guide a generative adversarial network to produce the fake representation of CAD models, which would be finally recovered into parametric CAD sequences via the decoder of MambaCAD. To train Mamba-CAD, we further create a new dataset consisting of 77,078 CAD models with longer parametric CAD sequences. Comprehensive experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of our model under various evaluation metrics, especially in the generation length of valid parametric CAD sequences. Zero-to-CAD: Agentic Synthesis of Interpretable CAD Programs at Million-Scale Without Real Data

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models are defined by their construction history: a parametric recipe that encodes design intent. However, existing large-scale 3D datasets predominantly consist of boundary representations (B-Reps) or meshes, stripping away this critical procedural information. To address this scarcity, we introduce Zero-to-CAD, a scalable framework for synthesizing executable CAD construction sequences. We frame synthesis as an agentic search problem: by embedding a large language model (LLM) within a feedback-driven CAD environment, our system iteratively generates, executes, and validates code using tools and documentation lookup to promote geometric validity and operation diversity. This agentic approach enables the synthesis of approximately one million executable, readable, editable CAD sequences, covering a rich vocabulary of operations beyond sketch-and-extrude workflows. We also release a curated subset of 100,000 high-quality models selected for geometric diversity. To demonstrate the dataset's utility, we fine-tune a vision-language model on our synthetic data to reconstruct editable CAD programs from multi-view images, outperforming strong baselines, including GPT-5.2, and effectively bootstrapping sequence generation capabilities without real construction-history training data. Zero-to-CAD bridges the gap between geometric scale and parametric interpretability, offering a vital resource for the next generation of CAD AI.
