Abstract

In this work, we study Human-Object Interaction Video Generation (HOIVG), which aims to synthesize high-quality human-object interaction videos conditioned on text, reference images, audio, and pose. This task holds significant practical value for automating content creation in real-world applications, such as e-commerce demonstrations, short video production, and interactive entertainment. However, existing approaches fail to accommodate all these requisite conditions. We present OmniShow, an end-to-end framework tailored for this practical yet challenging task, capable of harmonizing multimodal conditions and delivering industry-grade performance. To overcome the trade-off between controllability and quality, we introduce Unified Channel-wise Conditioning for efficient image and pose injection, and Gated Local-Context Attention to ensure precise audio-visual synchronization. To effectively address data scarcity, we develop a Decoupled-Then-Joint Training strategy that leverages a multi-stage training process with model merging to efficiently harness heterogeneous sub-task datasets. Furthermore, to fill the evaluation gap in this field, we establish HOIVG-Bench, a dedicated and comprehensive benchmark for HOIVG. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OmniShow achieves overall state-of-the-art performance across various multimodal conditioning settings, setting a solid standard for the emerging HOIVG task.

HunyuanVideo-HOMA: Generic Human-Object Interaction in Multimodal Driven Human Animation

To address key limitations in human-object interaction (HOI) video generation -- specifically the reliance on curated motion data, limited generalization to novel objects/scenarios, and restricted accessibility -- we introduce HunyuanVideo-HOMA, a weakly conditioned multimodal-driven framework. HunyuanVideo-HOMA enhances controllability and reduces dependency on precise inputs through sparse, decoupled motion guidance. It encodes appearance and motion signals into the dual input space of a multimodal diffusion transformer (MMDiT), fusing them within a shared context space to synthesize temporally consistent and physically plausible interactions. To optimize training, we integrate a parameter-space HOI adapter initialized from pretrained MMDiT weights, preserving prior knowledge while enabling efficient adaptation, and a facial cross-attention adapter for anatomically accurate audio-driven lip synchronization. Extensive experiments confirm state-of-the-art performance in interaction naturalness and generalization under weak supervision. Finally, HunyuanVideo-HOMA demonstrates versatility in text-conditioned generation and interactive object manipulation, supported by a user-friendly demo interface. Uni-HOI:A Unified framework for Learning the Joint distribution of Text and Human-Object Interaction

Modeling 4D human-object interaction (HOI) is a compelling challenge in computer vision and an essential technology powering virtual and mixed-reality applications. While existing works have achieved promising results on specific HOI tasks-such as text-conditioned HOI generation and human motion generation from object motion, they typically rely on task-specific architectures and lack a unified framework capable of handling diverse conditional inputs. Building on this, we propose Uni-HOI, a unified framework that learns the joint distribution among text, human motion, and object motion. By leveraging large language models (LLMs) and two motion-specific vector quantized variational autoencoders (VQ-VAEs), we convert heterogeneous motion data into token sequences compatible with LLM inputs, enabling seamless integration and joint modeling of all three modalities. We introduce a two-stage training strategy: the first stage performs multi-task learning on a large-scale HOI dataset to capture the underlying correlations among the three modalities, while the second stage fine-tunes the model on specific tasks to further enhance performance. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Uni-HOI achieves remarkable performances on multiple HOI-related tasks including text-driven HOI generation, object motion-driven human motion generation (optionally with text) and human motion-driven object motion prediction within a unified framework.

DISPLAY: Directable Human-Object Interaction Video Generation via Sparse Motion Guidance and Multi-Task Auxiliary

Human-centric video generation has advanced rapidly, yet existing methods struggle to produce controllable and physically consistent Human-Object Interaction (HOI) videos. Existing works rely on dense control signals, template videos, or carefully crafted text prompts, which limit flexibility and generalization to novel objects. We introduce a framework, namely DISPLAY, guided by Sparse Motion Guidance, composed only of wrist joint coordinates and a shape-agnostic object bounding box. This lightweight guidance alleviates the imbalance between human and object representations and enables intuitive user control. To enhance fidelity under such sparse conditions, we propose an Object-Stressed Attention mechanism that improves object robustness. To address the scarcity of high-quality HOI data, we further develop a Multi-Task Auxiliary Training strategy with a dedicated data curation pipeline, allowing the model to benefit from both reliable HOI samples and auxiliary tasks. Comprehensive experiments show that our method achieves high-fidelity, controllable HOI generation across diverse tasks. The project page can be found at \href{https://mumuwei.github.io/DISPLAY/}.
