Abstract

Recent 4D generation methods complete scene-level missing information using generative models and reconstruct the scene into radiance-based representations. However, these pipelines often present geometric inconsistencies in the generated content, and the radiance-based reconstruction requires expensive optimization. Furthermore, radiance-based representations often absorb these geometric inconsistencies into their view-dependent nature, failing to enforce the grounded geometric consistency. To address these issues, we propose Geometric 4D Stitching, an efficient framework that explicitly identifies missing geometric regions and complements them with geometrically grounded 4D stitches. As a result, our method constructs 4D scene representations in under 10 minutes on a single NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU per one-step scene expansion, while improving geometric consistency. Moreover, we demonstrate that our explicit 4D stitching supports interative expansion of 4D mesh as well as 4D scene editing.

Geometry-Aware Single-Image 4D Synthesis via Dense Trajectory Generation

Generating interactive and dynamic 4D scenes from a single static image remains a core challenge. Most existing generate-then-reconstruct and reconstruct-then-generate methods decouple geometry from motion, causing spatiotemporal inconsistencies and poor generalization. To address these, we present MoGe4D (Motion and Geometry-Aware image-to-4D Synthesis), a geometry-conditioned framework for single-image 4D synthesis that models a scene as dense 4D point trajectories. Instead of treating geometry and dynamics as two disconnected stages, our method starts from an initial geometric prior inferred from the input image and predicts future time-varying trajectories in a diffusion process, improving spatiotemporal coherence while preserving structural stability. To support this task, we first introduce TrajScene-60K, a large-scale dataset of 60,000 video samples with dense 4D point trajectories, addressing the scarcity of high-quality training data for scene-level 4D generation. Built on this, our diffusion-based 4D Scene Trajectory Generator (4D-STraG) predicts geometry-consistent and motion-plausible trajectory fields conditioned on the input image, with a depth-guided motion normalization strategy to reduce scale ambiguity and a Motion Perception Module (MPM) to inject motion-aware priors. We further propose a 4D View Synthesis Module (4D-ViSM) to render the generated 4D representation into videos under arbitrary camera trajectories. Experiments show that MoGe4D produces high-quality 4D scenes with strong temporal coherence, favorable geometry-aware consistency, and compelling novel-view synthesis from a single image. Streaming4D: Accelerate 4D World Models via Block-wise Video Generation and Incremental Reconstruction

Current 4D generation paradigms are often bottlenecked by a sequential decoupling design: video is generated first, followed by 3D reconstruction, leading to high interaction latency. This limits applications in interactive real-time scenarios. To this end, we propose \textbf{Streaming4D}, a tightly coupled synchronous pipeline that integrates block-wise autoregressive video generation with incremental 3D reconstruction. Unlike traditional frame-by-frame emission and delayed geometry recovery, Streaming4D generates temporal video blocks and immediately triggers reconstruction for each completed block, enabling parallel execution between synthesis and geometric updates. This approach allows the world representation to evolve online with the video stream, reducing feedback latency while preserving geometric fidelity. We instantiate \textbf{Streaming4D} using a Self-Forcing-style autoregressive generator and an incremental reconstruction backend. Experiments show consistent runtime improvements across resolutions on a single RTX 4090 (1.24×\times speedup), while maintaining high-quality 4D geometry and multi-view consistency.

Ground4D: Consistency-Aware 4D Reconstruction from Monocular Video

Learning a 4D scene representation from a single monocular video that supports dynamic novel-view synthesis while maintaining faithful geometry over time remains challenging. Dynamic Gaussian Splatting achieves strong rendering performance through photometric optimization, yet does not explicitly enforce multi-view geometric consistency. In contrast, 3D foundation models recover coherent scene geometry and camera motion, but their point-based outputs are not designed for photorealistic rendering. We propose Ground4D, a geometry-grounded framework built on two stages. First, we perform geometry initialization via 3D foundation models, leveraging VGGT in a training-free manner to reconstruct multi-view-consistent 3D geometry and camera poses from monocular video. The recovered geometry provides a structured and reliable initialization for dynamic Gaussian representations. Second, we conduct geometry-consistency-aware refinement via dynamic Gaussian Splatting, optimizing the representation through differentiable rendering while maintaining multi-view geometric consistency across both observed and synthesized viewpoints. Furthermore, Ground4D inherently models the continuous 4D dynamics of the scene, naturally supporting rendering at arbitrary timestamps. By integrating foundation-level geometric priors into dynamic Gaussian optimization, Ground4D achieves stronger reconstruction fidelity and rendering performance, underscoring the role of geometry-grounded constraints in robust 4D scene modeling.
