Abstract

We present MobileGym, a browser-hosted, lightweight, fully controllable environment for everyday mobile use, targeting interaction fidelity without replicating proprietary backends. It enables two capabilities previously out of reach for everyday apps: verifiable outcome signals through deterministic state-based judging over structured JSON state, and scalable online RL through low-cost parallel rollouts. The full environment state is captured, configured, forked, and compared as structured JSON, and a single server can host hundreds of parallel instances, with about 400 MB memory per instance and about 3 s cold start. A layered state model and a declarative task-definition framework keep state programmability and task creation practical at scale, and a single programmatic judging mechanism delivers both deterministic evaluation verdicts and dense RL rewards. The accompanying MobileGym-Bench provides 416 parameterized task templates, including 256 test and 160 train templates, over 28 apps, with deterministic judges and a structured AnswerSheet protocol that avoids free-text matching failures. In a Sim-to-Real case study, GRPO on Qwen3-VL-4B-Instruct gains +12.8 percentage points on the 256-task test set, and on a 59-task real-device signal subset, real-device execution retains 95.1% of the simulation-side training gain. APPSim-Bench: Bridging Real-world Apps and Reproducible Evaluation for Mobile GUI Agents

Mobile GUI agents can execute tasks from natural-language instructions, but their evaluation remains difficult to make both realistic and reproducible. Existing benchmarks typically trade off these goals: simplified apps lack real-world mobile complexity, whereas live commercial apps introduce uncontrolled variation from recommendations, advertisements, accounts, and changing content. We propose AppSim-Bench, which addresses this trade-off through controllable simulated apps that preserve task-relevant interaction logic while supporting deterministic evaluation. Built through a coding-agent-assisted and human-verified workflow, it contains 557 tasks across 17 high-frequency Chinese and English apps. Its controllable backend data and outcome-based verification remove major sources of environmental stochasticity, enabling reproducible cross-model comparison. Evaluating 19 GUI agents, spanning general-purpose and GUI-specialized systems, we find that autonomous mobile execution remains far from solved. The best model completes only 50.27% of tasks, and 28.55% of tasks are not solved by any agent. Further analysis shows that failures concentrate in longer workflows, numerical reasoning tasks, and inefficient trajectories marked by high action overhead and budget exhaustion. HyMobileAgent: Data-Environment Co-Scaling for Efficient GUI Agents

As large multimodal models move from understanding content to operating on digital environments, mobile GUI has emerged as a challenging and consequential testbed for digital embodied intelligence. Mobile agents operate under three coupled constraints: precise perception of complex interfaces, scalable acquisition of high-quality interaction data, and robust long-horizon decision making under compounding execution errors. This report presents HyMobileAgent, a mobile GUI agent built on Hy3.0-VL-A3B, a vision-native foundation model featuring native any-resolution input, an A3B-scale deployment budget, and a 32K context window to model extended interaction histories. Rather than relying solely on model scaling, we develop a joint data and environment centric scaling framework to address the key bottlenecks of mobile interaction. Our framework integrates a GUI perception flywheel combining mock-interface synthesis, rejection sampling, and icon-specific augmentation; a knowledge pipeline that transforms tutorial videos into structured interaction data; a million-scale action data pipeline deployed across more than 2000 sandbox and real-device instances with automated failure attribution; the PhoneWorld Mock App Factory, providing a resettable training environment with 34 mock applications and over 34000 tasks; and a structured Planning-and-Reflection mechanism with explicit dead-loop detection for reliable long-horizon execution. We also introduce a progressive training recipe consisting of mid-training, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning with task-specific reward designs.

ScaleWoB: Guiding GUI Agents with Coding Agents via Large-Scale Environmental Synthesis

GUI agents powered by large language models are advancing rapidly, creating urgent needs for evaluation and training based on realistic environments. However, directly doing so in real-world environments introduces some challenges that cannot be overlooked. Real-world environments are complex and uncontrollable, making it difficult to construct verifiable rewards and to save or reset states. Existing works prioritize reproducibility but are often limited to open-source apps or file-operation tasks for reliable reward building, leaving a persistent gap from real-world usage. Furthermore, relying on virtual machines or docker images demand high resource requirements and suffer from slow response speeds, which limit the efficiency. We present \sys, a framework that could produce high-fidelity synthesized interactive environments for GUI agents across platforms with verifiable rewards. These environments behave as backend-free webpages accessible via URL, requiring near-zero setup and low resource cost, making the approach suitable for both large-scale evaluation and downstream agent training. We support multiple GUI platforms including mobile, desktop, and automotive/in-vehicle interfaces based on the same pipeline, covering 100+ environments and 1000+ verifiable tasks. Among them, 120 challenging tasks across 63 simulated mobile applications are released as a fully synthesized mobile GUI agent benchmark. Experiment results on five state-of-the-art mobile GUI agents reveal substantial headroom -- the average success rate is only 27.92%, dropping to 17.82% on long-horizon subset -- while humans reach 92.08%. A comparison against real-world sample tasks shows that assessments made in our synthetic environments generalize to real apps. The project website is at https://scalewob.github.io.
