Abstract

Many scalable latent 3D generators operate on structured tensors, whereas pre-optimized 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) reconstructions are unordered, spatially irregular, and vary widely in primitive count. We present GS-Voxel, a fitting-free structured latent framework, and evaluate it for large-scale aerial 3D Gaussian scene generation. GS-Voxel deterministically converts a compatible pre-optimized 3DGS reconstruction into sparse active voxels without additional per-scene optimization, retaining the sub-voxel positions and rendering attributes of the selected primitives. A GS-specific factorized VAE then separately encodes voxel geometry and local Gaussian attributes into sparse 3D latents whose size grows with the number of occupied voxels rather than being limited by a fixed scene-wide primitive count. We train image-conditioned flow models in the GS-Voxel latent space to generate aerial 3DGS scenes. A key application enabled by GS-Voxel is large-area scene generation: overlap-aware tiled inference extends synthesis beyond a single training crop conditioned on satellite-view images. Our results show that GS-Voxel provides structured latents for pre-optimized aerial 3DGS reconstructions, with latent capacity that grows with the number of occupied voxels.

TriFold: Folding irregular 3D Gaussians into structured latents for 3D Scene Generation

Recent progress in 3D generation has motivated growing interest in compact generative representations of complex 3D scenes. For native 3D Gaussian scenes, however, learning such representations remains challenging due to widely varying primitive counts, nonuniform spatial density, and differences in geometry and appearance even among spatially neighboring primitives. In this work, we introduce TriFold, a native 3D Gaussian VAE that encodes Gaussian scenes into a fixed-layout triplane latent and jointly reconstructs their geometry and appearance. The key insight is to impose structural regularity on the latent space while preserving the spatial adaptivity of the underlying Gaussians. During encoding, we use cell-wise learned queries to aggregate projected Gaussians into multiple slots per cell, reducing the information loss caused by single-feature pooling. During decoding, occupancy prediction identifies active regions, where query-based set prediction and candidate selection reconstruct local Gaussian sets with spatially varying primitive counts. Building on this representation, we train a latent flow-matching model for conditional scene-level 3DGS generation, enabling point-cloud-conditioned synthesis and single-image-conditioned amodal generation. Experiments demonstrate that TriFold achieves high-fidelity reconstruction and generation from a single image that provides only a partial observation of the scene, validating its effectiveness for native 3D Gaussian representation learning. https://fantasy-amap.github.io/TriFold

FLUX3D: High-Fidelity 3D Gaussian Generation with Diffusion-Aligned Sparse Representation

Sparse voxel representation has emerged as a scalable foundation for image-to-3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) generation, yet current methods struggle to preserve high-frequency visual details of input images due to two structural bottlenecks. First, they adopt discriminative 2D features optimized for semantic abstraction to construct sparse voxel latents, which suppress reconstructive cues and induce a representation bottleneck. Second, in the generation stage, standard diffusion transformers lack effective mechanisms to align dense 2D image tokens with sparse 3D voxel latents, resulting in a cross-modal correspondence bottleneck. To address these issues, we propose FLUX3D, a scalable image-to-3DGS framework that boosts both representation learning and cross-modal alignment during generation. We first revisit 2D feature selection for sparse-voxel-based 3D representation learning, propose Diffusion-Aligned Structured Latents (DA-SLAT) and couple it with a decoder-only architecture to improve 3DGS reconstruction fidelity. We also design a sparse-structure-aware diffusion framework, which integrates the Sparse-structure Multimodal Diffusion Transformer (SMDiT) and Modal-Aware Rotary Positional Embedding (MARoPE) to achieve geometry-agnostic 2D-3D alignment. Extensive benchmark experiments demonstrate that FLUX3D yields substantial improvements in appearance fidelity and significantly outperforms all state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods in generating high-quality 3DGS assets.

Fusion-Aware Direct 3D Gaussian Generation with Structured Patch Latent Flows

Class-guided 3D object generation is important for intelligent content creation, virtual environments, and digital asset design. Although 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) offers an explicit and render-efficient representation, directly generating 3D Gaussian objects is difficult because Gaussian primitives are unordered, variable-sized, locally dense, and highly sensitive to rendering. Existing 3DGS generation methods usually depend on multi-view synthesis, reconstruction, or lifted 2D priors, fusing information mainly from observed views rather than modeling the intrinsic structural distribution of 3D Gaussian objects. This paper proposes a fusion-aware hierarchical Gaussian patch representation for direct class-guided 3DGS generation with rectified flow. Irregular Gaussian sets are decomposed into canonical local patches and encoded as structured tokens. The resulting hierarchical latent space fuses global class semantics, patch-level geometry and appearance, spatial correspondence, and rendering-sensitive cues. On this basis, we design a structure-aware rectified flow model with patch-position conditioning, global-local coupled velocity prediction, and density-aware velocity weighting, enabling direct latent generation of class-conditioned 3DGS objects within seconds. A render-feedback fusion strategy further aligns latent flow learning with decoded multi-view rendering quality. Experiments show that the proposed method generates 3D Gaussian objects with more coherent geometry, sharper local details, and better multi-view consistency than baseline latent generative models. Ablation studies confirm the contributions of hierarchical information fusion, global-local coupling, density-aware supervision, and render-feedback learning while preserving practical sampling efficiency overall.
