Abstract

Action-conditioned video models require large-scale visual data paired with control signals that are temporally aligned with the resulting scene transitions. Such supervision is difficult to obtain from ordinary real-world video because the actions that caused each visual change are typically unknown. We present a large-scale synthetic data production pipeline built on Unreal Engine for generating action-conditioned, multi-view video. To accommodate the different execution requirements of real-time physics and high-quality offline rendering, the pipeline executes trajectory generation and final rendering in two stages: Stage I runs real physics in PIE and records per-frame character states, control inputs, and camera states into an intermediate trajectory representation; Stage II replays those trajectories in a new engine process and renders them offline with Movie Render Queue (MRQ). Around this core, we develop a distributed production system with cache-aware task partitioning, node-local slot scheduling, automated scene screening, aesthetic and luminance filtering, partial-output recovery, asynchronous upload, and continuous cluster health monitoring. The production cluster contains 25 servers with eight NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs per server. From 2,384 asset packs, 429 levels were retained for production together with a pool of 40 humanoid characters. The pipeline has produced 2,691 hours of 1080p video and 6,076 hours of 720p video. We describe the system architecture, the implementation decisions that emerged from production failures, and the limitations of using perceptual quality proxies for world-model data curation. The pipeline described in this report constitutes the Unreal Engine synthetic-data production component used in EchoWM.

World Narrative Model for Highly Controllable Video Generation: A Paradigm Shift from Pixel Sampling to Physical World Orchestration

The fundamental obstacle to industrial grade video generation is the lack of controllability: existing models treat video as a pixel distribution sampling problem, bypassing the explicit, instance level 4D4D (3D+T)(3D + T) physical world. Consequently, content creators cannot specify geometry, motion, camera parameters, or lighting in a deterministic, quantitative way, leading to the infamous ''gacha'' loop that makes professional content creation prohibitively inefficient and expensive. To address this, we introduce the World Narrative Model (WNM), a paradigm that decouples what to render -- the structured physical narrative -- from how to render -- the pixel generation process. WNM replaces end-to-end black-box sampling with orchestrated 4D4D pre-visualization for media generation. Collaborative agents translate sparse multimodal inputs, including text, reference videos, and sketches, into a fully editable world representation with scene geometry, object layouts, character/animal skeleton motion, trajectories, camera motion, and lighting at quantitative, physically meaningful granularity. This representation acts as a deterministic structural blueprint that drives existing video foundation models, either frozen or lightly adapted, to render final footage, turning the base model into a faithful neural shader. Built on this engine, our human-AI platform supports automatic world generation and pre-visualization aligned with professional filmmaking pipelines, while director consoles enable seamless human refinement. Experiments show that WNM greatly reduces probabilistic ``gacha'' calls and produces videos whose layout, motion, and cinematography closely follow creator intent. The framework is open and modular, allowing each component, such as world representation, control agents, and adapters, to be independently improved. CustomX: Unified Character, Action, and Scene Customization in Video World Models

Recent advances in world models have greatly enhanced interactive environment simulation. Existing methods mainly fall into two categories: (1) static world generation models, which construct 3D environments without active agents, and (2) controllable-entity models, which allow a single entity to perform limited actions in an otherwise uncontrollable environment. In this work, we introduce CustomX, leveraging the realism and structural grounding of static world generation while extending controllable-entity models to support user-specified characters capable of performing open-ended actions. Users can provide a 3DGS scene and a character, then use natural language to direct the character to perform diverse behaviors, ranging from basic locomotion to object-centric interactions, while freely exploring the environment. CustomX synthesizes temporally coherent video clips that preserve visual fidelity with the provided scene and character, formulated as a conditional autoregressive video generation problem. Built upon a pre-trained video generator, our training strategy significantly enhances motion dynamics while maintaining generalization across actions and characters. Our evaluation covers a broad range of aspects, including visual quality, character consistency, action controllability, and long-horizon coherence.

Astronex-World 1.0: Real-Time Interactive World Model Foundation

We present Astronex-World 1.0, an open controllable video world-model foundation. Given a text prompt (text-to-video) or an initial observation (image-to-video), the model predicts future visual states under frame-aligned camera trajectories, continuous actions, and an embodiment identifier, and accepts text events inserted at a specified position of a rollout. The family provides a bidirectional model for full-context generation and a causal model with block-causal attention and cross-block KV caching for persistent generation, both built on the Wan2.2-TI2V-5B prior. PRoPE injects camera intrinsics and extrinsics, while a 64-dimensional action stream modulates every Transformer layer. A five-stage training path develops bidirectional camera and action control, converts the backbone to block-causal generation, distills a few-step student, restores mixed-domain dynamics, and applies asymmetric DMD/DMD2 distribution matching. The causal model generates 832x480 video at 24 fps. All five training stages run on two NVIDIA L20 48 GB GPUs, and the causal model streams in real time on one. It scores 73.5 on WBench Navi and 70.0 on WBench Full. On Full, this 5B model is above the 13.6B LongCat-Video and the 14B Helios, within one point of the 22B LTX-2.3, and above YUME 1.5, which is post-trained from the same 5B prior on NVIDIA A100 GPUs. The reserved action input and output interfaces allow post-training for embodied intelligence and autonomous driving.
