Abstract

High-fidelity 3D generative modeling underpins game asset creation, medical imaging, and VR/AR environmental design, where geometric structure directly influences perception and decision-making. Diffusion models represent a powerful paradigm for point cloud generation. However, existing approaches rely heavily on local voxel or patch features and often miss global structural organization, and much less work has studied how global conditioning can be used to improve generation quality. In this paper, we introduce HilbertGen-3D, a novel topology-aware conditional diffusion framework based on Hilbert-Multifractal Conditioning (HMC). HMC computes multi-scale voxel measures, serializes them via a 3D Hilbert curve to expose structured spatial dependencies, and estimates the generalized fractal dimensions from scale-dependent partition functions. We encode these signals as global embeddings and multi-scale tokens, and inject them into a diffusion denoiser through an efficient bottleneck fusion module. Across the Chair, Airplane, and Car categories of ShapeNet, our two conditioning variants reduce the absolute deviation of 1-Nearest Neighbor Accuracy (1-NNA) from 50% by up to 8.90 percentage points and increase coverage by up to 5.88 percentage points relative to TopoDiT-3D. This shows that combining local density cues with global Hilbert-multifractal structure provides a simple and effective recipe for high-fidelity and diverse 3D generation.

Hierarchical Flow Matching for 3D Point Cloud Generation

Generating high-quality 3D point clouds requires capturing both global shape topology and local geometric details. Existing flow-based methods rely on continuous normalizing flows (CNFs) that demand expensive ODE solving and trace estimation during training, while diffusion models require hundreds of iterative denoising steps. Moreover, most approaches adopt single-level generation directly in point space, disregarding the hierarchical structure natural to 3D shapes. We propose Hierarchical Flow Matching (HFM) that extends flow matching to bilevel structure for unconditional 3D point cloud generation. HFM decomposes the task into two levels via optimal-transport flow matching: a Latent Flow Matching models the global shape manifold in a compact latent space, and a Conditional Point Flow Matching reconstructs detailed point clouds conditioned on the latent code. Both flows are trained with simple MSE regression losses. The resulting straight OT paths enable efficient sampling with as few as 15 Euler steps per flow, while the structured latent space supports downstream tasks including classification. Extensive experiments on ShapeNet and ModelNet benchmarks demonstrate that HFM achieves competitive or even best performance compared with prior state-of-the-art methods.

Points-to-3D: Structure-Aware 3D Generation with Point Cloud Priors

Recent progress in 3D generation has been driven largely by models conditioned on images or text, while readily available 3D priors are still underused. In many real-world scenarios, the visible-region point cloud are easy to obtain from active sensors such as LiDAR or from feed-forward predictors like VGGT, offering explicit geometric constraints that current methods fail to exploit. In this work, we introduce Points-to-3D, a diffusion-based framework that leverages point cloud priors for geometry-controllable 3D asset and scene generation. Built on a latent 3D diffusion model TRELLIS, Points-to-3D first replaces pure-noise sparse structure latent initialization with a point cloud priors tailored input formulation.A structure inpainting network, trained within the TRELLIS framework on task-specific data designed to learn global structural inpainting, is then used for inference with a staged sampling strategy (structural inpainting followed by boundary refinement), completing the global geometry while preserving the visible regions of the input priors. In practice, Points-to-3D can take either accurate point-cloud priors or VGGT-estimated point clouds from single images as input. Experiments on both objects and scene scenarios consistently demonstrate superior performance over state-of-the-art baselines in terms of rendering quality and geometric fidelity, highlighting the effectiveness of explicitly embedding point-cloud priors for achieving more accurate and structurally controllable 3D generation. Cog2Gen3D: Sculpturing 3D Semantic-Geometric Cognition for 3D Generation

Generative models have achieved success in producing semantically plausible 2D images, but it remains challenging in 3D generation due to the absence of spatial geometry constraints. Typically, existing methods utilize geometric features as conditions to enhance spatial awareness. However, these methods can only model relative relationships and are prone to scale inconsistency of absolute geometry. Thus, we argue that semantic information and absolute geometry empower 3D cognition, thereby enabling controllable 3D generation for the physical world. In this work, we propose Cog2Gen3D, a 3D cognition-guided diffusion framework for 3D generation. Our model is guided by three key designs: 1) Cognitive Feature Embeddings. We encode different modalities into semantic and geometric representations and further extract logical representations. 2) 3D Latent Cognition Graph. We structure different representations into dual-stream semantic-geometric graphs and fuse them via common-based cross-attention to obtain a 3D cognition graph. 3) Cognition-Guided Latent Diffusion. We leverage the fused 3D cognition graph as the condition to guide the latent diffusion process for 3D Gaussian generation. Under this unified framework, the 3D cognition graph ensures the physical plausibility and structural rationality of 3D generation. Moreover, we construct a validation subset based on the Marble World Labs. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our Cog2Gen3D significantly outperforms existing methods in both semantic fidelity and geometric plausibility.
