3D Content Generation

Current research heavily utilizes diffusion models, often in conjunction with techniques like Gaussian splatting and neural radiance fields (NeRFs), to generate high-quality 3D assets from various inputs such as images, sketches, and text descriptions. This field is significant due to its potential to revolutionize numerous applications, including video game development, film production, virtual and augmented reality, and digital heritage preservation, by reducing production costs and accelerating design timelines. However, challenges remain in achieving consistent multi-view geometry, high-resolution textures, and efficient generation speeds.
