Adverse Drug Reaction
Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) pose a significant threat to patient safety and healthcare systems, prompting research into accurate prediction and detection methods. Current research heavily utilizes artificial intelligence, employing machine learning, deep learning (including convolutional neural networks and transformers), and knowledge graph embedding techniques to analyze diverse data sources, such as electronic health records and social media, to identify ADRs with improved accuracy and efficiency. These advancements hold considerable promise for enhancing pharmacovigilance, improving treatment decisions, and ultimately reducing the burden of ADRs.
