Dynamic Lighting
Dynamic lighting research focuses on accurately rendering and controlling lighting in images and videos, aiming to create realistic and consistent visuals under varying illumination conditions. Current efforts concentrate on developing novel algorithms, often employing deep learning architectures like neural radiance fields and intrinsic image decomposition, to achieve physically plausible relighting from single images or sequences, addressing challenges like glossy surfaces and dynamic scenes. These advancements are crucial for improving the realism of computer graphics, virtual and augmented reality applications, and enhancing the performance of computer vision systems operating in diverse lighting environments.
