Image Corpus
Image corpora, vast collections of images often paired with textual data, are crucial for advancing computer vision and related fields. Current research emphasizes efficient methods for building and filtering these corpora, including techniques leveraging deep learning models and nature-inspired optimization algorithms to improve image quality and extract specific subsets (e.g., satellite imagery). This work is driven by the need for large, high-quality datasets to train and evaluate models for tasks such as image retrieval, visual document understanding, and even analyzing persuasive strategies in advertising, ultimately impacting various applications from e-commerce to social science research.
