Mathematical Constant
Mathematical constants, fundamental numbers like pi or e, are being investigated using novel computational approaches to uncover hidden relationships and generate new formulas. Current research employs machine learning techniques, such as Bayesian autoencoders and neural networks, alongside algorithms designed to analyze integer sequences and continued fractions, to discover and characterize these constants and their connections. This work not only expands our understanding of fundamental mathematics but also offers potential applications in diverse fields, including the analysis of dynamical systems and the development of improved machine learning models. The ability to automatically discover and verify new mathematical relationships promises to accelerate progress in various scientific disciplines.
