Natural Language Based Sketch

Natural language based sketch research explores using natural language descriptions to generate, manipulate, and understand sketches, bridging the gap between textual and visual information. Current efforts focus on developing models that can accurately interpret sketch abstraction levels for improved image retrieval, generate high-quality animation inbetweens from keyframe sketches, and enable precise sketch-guided image and 3D model editing using diffusion models and large language models like GPT-4. This interdisciplinary field holds significant potential for advancing human-computer interaction, particularly in creative design, animation, and computer-aided design applications, by providing more intuitive and efficient interfaces for visual content creation and manipulation.
