User Training
User training research focuses on improving user interaction with systems, encompassing both human learning and system adaptation. Current efforts explore methods like prompt optimization for large language models, gamified feedback mechanisms for improving human-computer interface control (e.g., using EMG signals), and personalized models that account for user biases in decision-making. These advancements aim to enhance user experience, improve the accuracy and efficiency of various applications (from brain-computer interfaces to phishing detection), and ultimately lead to more effective and intuitive human-computer interactions.
