Warehouse Layout
Warehouse layout optimization aims to maximize efficiency and productivity by strategically arranging storage and movement of goods. Current research focuses on automating layout generation using AI-driven frameworks like constrained beam search and integrating deep reinforcement learning (DRL) to dynamically optimize order picking routes, particularly in multi-robot and human-robot collaborative environments. These advancements leverage multi-agent systems, large language models, and novel algorithms to address challenges posed by dynamic order arrivals and large-scale operations, ultimately improving throughput and reducing costs in warehouse management.
