Abstract

4D generation, or dynamic 3D content generation, integrates spatial, temporal, and view dimensions to model realistic dynamic scenes, playing a foundational role in advancing world models and physical AI. However, maintaining long-chain consistency across both frames and viewpoints through the unique spatio-camera-motion (SCM) attention mechanism introduces substantial computational and memory overhead, often leading to out-of-memory (OOM) failures and prohibitive generation times. To address these challenges, we propose Turbo4DGen, an ultra-fast acceleration framework for diffusion-based multi-view 4D content generation. Turbo4DGen introduces a spatiotemporal cache mechanism that persistently reuses intermediate attention across denoising steps, combined with dynamically semantic-aware attention pruning and an adaptive SCM chain bypass scheduler, to drastically reduce redundant SCM attention computation. Our experimental results show that Turbo4DGen achieves an average 9.7×\times speedup without quality degradation on the ObjaverseDy and Consistent4D datasets. To the best of our knowledge, Turbo4DGen is the first dedicated acceleration framework for 4D generation.

Dream4D: Lifting Camera-Controlled I2V towards Spatiotemporally Consistent 4D Generation

The synthesis of spatiotemporally coherent 4D content presents fundamental challenges in computer vision, requiring simultaneous modeling of high-fidelity spatial representations and physically plausible temporal dynamics. Current approaches often struggle to maintain view consistency while handling complex scene dynamics, particularly in large-scale environments with multiple interacting elements. This work introduces Dream4D, a novel framework that bridges this gap through a synergy of controllable video generation and neural 4D reconstruction. Our approach seamlessly combines a two-stage architecture: it first predicts optimal camera trajectories from a single image using few-shot learning, then generates geometrically consistent multi-view sequences via a specialized pose-conditioned diffusion process, which are finally converted into a persistent 4D representation. This framework is the first to leverage both rich temporal priors from video diffusion models and geometric awareness of the reconstruction models, which significantly facilitates 4D generation and shows higher quality (e.g., mPSNR, mSSIM) over existing methods.

Sculpt4D: Generating 4D Shapes via Sparse-Attention Diffusion Transformers

Recent breakthroughs in 3D generative modeling have yielded remarkable progress in static shape synthesis, yet high-fidelity dynamic 4D generation remains elusive, hindered by temporal artifacts and prohibitive computational demand. We present Sculpt4D, a native 4D generative framework that seamlessly integrates efficient temporal modeling into a pretrained 3D Diffusion Transformer (Hunyuan3D 2.1), thereby mitigating the scarcity of 4D training data. At its core lies a Block Sparse Attention mechanism that preserves object identity by anchoring to the initial frame while capturing rich motion dynamics via a time-decaying sparse mask. This design faithfully models complex spatiotemporal dependencies with high fidelity, while sidestepping the quadratic overhead of full attention and reducing network total computation by 56%. Consequently, Sculpt4D establishes a new state-of-the-art in temporally coherent 4D synthesis and charts a path toward efficient and scalable 4D generation.

Hallo4D: Multi-Modal Hallucination Mitigation for Consistent Spatio-Temporal Generation

While recent advances in 3D generation have enabled impressive visual synthesis, existing methods often rely on 2D diffusion supervision without explicit mechanisms for geometric consistency, leading to spatial hallucinations such as duplicated structures and misaligned geometry. These issues become more severe in 4D generation, where maintaining consistency across viewpoints and temporal evolution introduces additional challenges, including jitter, identity flicker, and structural drift. We present Hallo4D, a unified and model-agnostic framework for mitigating spatiotemporal hallucinations in 3D and 4D content generation. Hallo4D introduces a generation-detection-correction paradigm that leverages large multimodal language models (LMMs) to identify and summarize spatial and temporal inconsistencies from multi-view and multi-frame renderings. These insights guide a consensus-driven image-space consistency optimization, where an LMM-based selector evaluates candidate corrections through multi-model voting, without requiring retraining or architectural modifications. To further improve temporal consistency and optimization efficiency, Hallo4D incorporates motion-aware keyframe sampling, LMM-guided initialization, and appearance alignment. We additionally introduce exposure-aware optimization and visibility pruning to enhance robustness under challenging viewpoints. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Hallo4D consistently outperforms strong baselines across diverse 3D and 4D generation settings, providing a scalable and generalizable solution for consistency-aware content generation.
