Abstract

Artistic style transfer is well studied for images and videos, but extending it to multi-view 3D scenes remains difficult because stylization can disrupt correspondences needed by geometry-aware pipelines. Independent per-view stylization often causes texture drift, warped edges, and inconsistent shading, degrading SLAM, depth prediction, and multi-view reconstruction. This thesis addresses multi-view stylization that remains usable for downstream 3D tasks without assuming camera poses or an explicit 3D representation during training. We introduce a feed-forward stylization network trained with per-scene test-time optimization under a composite objective coupling appearance transfer with geometry preservation. Stylization is driven by an AdaIN-inspired loss from a frozen VGG-19 encoder, matching channel-wise moments to a style image. To stabilize structure across viewpoints, we propose a correspondence-based consistency loss using SuperPoint and SuperGlue, constraining descriptors from a stylized anchor view to remain consistent with matched descriptors from the original multi-view set. We also impose a depth-preservation loss using MiDaS/DPT and use global color alignment to reduce depth-model domain shift. A staged weight schedule introduces geometry and depth constraints. We evaluate on Tanks and Temples and Mip-NeRF 360 using image and reconstruction metrics. Style adherence and structure retention are measured by Color Histogram Distance (CHD) and Structure Distance (DSD). For 3D consistency, we use monocular DROID-SLAM trajectories and symmetric Chamfer distance on back-projected point clouds. Across ablations, correspondence and depth regularization reduce structural distortion and improve SLAM stability and reconstructed geometry; on scenes with MuVieCAST baselines, our method yields stronger trajectory and point-cloud consistency while maintaining competitive stylization.

Capacity-Controlled Multi-View Stylization of 3D Gaussian Splatting

While 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) provides an efficient and explicit representation for novel view synthesis, enforcing stylistic coherence across viewpoints remains challenging. Existing 3D stylization methods typically apply 2D feature-matching losses independently per rendered view, which leads to unstable style allocation, many-to-one feature reuse, and limited cross-view consistency. We propose a capacity-controlled framework for multi-view stylization of 3DGS, grounded in optimal transport. Specifically, we reformulate local style matching as a semi-balanced optimal transport problem. By introducing explicit column-capacity constraints with tunable strength, our formulation mitigates many-to-one matching and enables controllable allocation of style features. This transport-based objective provides a principled mechanism for balancing feature coverage and stylistic diversity while maintaining stable correspondences across viewpoints. To further enhance cross-view coherence, we incorporate a novel cross-view matching guidance to constrain correspondences between scene content and style patterns. In addition, we introduce several geometric regularizations to enhance the vanilla 3DGS, thereby enabling optimized Gaussian primitives to represent finer-grained textures during stylization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach significantly improves multi-view stylistic consistency and produces stable, expressive 3D stylizations while preserving the core semantic structure of the scene.

Pano360: Perspective to Panoramic Vision with Geometric Consistency

Prior panorama stitching approaches heavily rely on pairwise feature correspondences and are unable to leverage geometric consistency across multiple views. This leads to severe distortion and misalignment, especially in challenging scenes with weak textures, large parallax, and repetitive patterns. Given that multi-view geometric correspondences can be directly constructed in 3D space, making them more accurate and globally consistent, we extend the 2D alignment task to the 3D photogrammetric space. We adopt a novel transformer-based architecture to achieve 3D awareness and aggregate global information across all views. It directly utilizes camera poses to guide image warping for global alignment in 3D space and employs a multi-feature joint optimization strategy to compute the seams. Additionally, to establish an evaluation benchmark and train our network, we constructed a large-scale dataset of real-world scenes. Extensive experiments show that our method significantly outperforms existing alternatives in alignment accuracy and perceptual quality.

AnyStyle: Single-Pass Multimodal Stylization for 3D Gaussian Splatting

The growing demand for rapid and scalable 3D asset creation has driven interest in feed-forward 3D reconstruction methods, with 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) emerging as an effective scene representation. While recent approaches have demonstrated pose-free reconstruction from unposed image collections, integrating stylization or appearance control into such pipelines remains underexplored. Existing attempts largely rely on image-based conditioning, which limits both controllability and flexibility. In this work, we introduce AnyStyle, a feed-forward 3D reconstruction and stylization framework that enables pose-free, zero-shot stylization through multimodal conditioning. Our method supports both textual and visual style inputs, allowing users to control the scene appearance using natural language descriptions or reference images. We propose a modular stylization architecture that requires only minimal architectural modifications and can be integrated into existing feed-forward 3D reconstruction backbones. Experiments demonstrate that AnyStyle improves style controllability over prior feed-forward stylization methods while preserving high-quality geometric reconstruction. A user study further confirms that AnyStyle achieves superior stylization quality compared to an existing state-of-the-art approach. Repository: https://github.com/joaxkal/AnyStyle.
