Abstract

Instance-level object segmentation across disparate egocentric and exocentric views is a fundamental challenge in visual understanding, critical for applications in embodied AI and remote collaboration. This task is exceptionally difficult due to severe changes in scale, perspective, and occlusion, which destabilize direct pixel-level matching. While recent geometry-aware models like VGGT provide a strong foundation for feature alignment, we find they often fail at dense prediction tasks due to significant pixel-level projection drift, even when their internal object-level attention remains consistent. To bridge this gap, we introduce VGGT-Segmentor (VGGT-S), a framework that unifies robust geometric modeling with pixel-accurate semantic segmentation. VGGT-S leverages VGGT's powerful cross-view feature representation and introduces a novel Union Segmentation Head. This head operates in three stages: mask prompt fusion, point-guided prediction, and iterative mask refinement, effectively translating high-level feature alignment into a precise segmentation mask. Furthermore, we propose a single-image self-supervised training strategy that eliminates the need for paired annotations and enables strong generalization. On the Ego-Exo4D benchmark, VGGT-S sets a new state-of-the-art, achieving 67.7% and 68.0% average IoU for Ego to Exo and Exo to Ego tasks, respectively, significantly outperforming prior methods. Notably, our correspondence-free pretrained model surpasses most fully-supervised baselines, demonstrating the effectiveness and scalability of our approach. SAM-V: Geometry-Aware Segment Anything for Multi-View Instance Segmentation

Consistent multi-view object segmentation is critical for 3D perception and robotics, yet remains challenging under severe viewpoint and occlusion changes. Existing methods typically perform 3D instance segmentation on point clouds or rely on offline 2D mask-matching pipelines. However, 3D instance segmentation is limited by scarce 3D annotations, while offline 2D matching suffers from object identity ambiguity across frames. To leverage strong 2D and 3D priors jointly, we propose SAM-V (Geometry-Aware Segment Anything for Multi-View Instance Segmentation). Instead of combining the two priors through post-hoc matching, SAM-V directly integrates features from a feed-forward geometry model (VGGT) into a 2D segmentation foundation model (SAM), trained end-to-end for cross-view instance prediction. SAM-V introduces a prompt-fusion mechanism that enriches sparse SAM prompt tokens with view-specific camera tokens and local VGGT features, making the prompt representation both view-aware and spatially grounded, together with a mask decoder that attends to dense 2D and 3D features. By conditioning the mask decoding directly on multi-view geometry, SAM-V produces consistent multi-view segmentation of a prompted object in a single forward pass without offline mask matching or explicit 3D reconstruction. On the IGGT 3D tracking benchmark, where consistent instance identity across frames directly determines performance, SAM-V improves overall IoU by 5 points and frame-level recall by 12 points on the ScanNet++ split over the state-of-the-art multi-view instance segmentation baseline and leads on all metrics in the zero-shot ScanNet split. Learning Cross-View Object Correspondence via Cycle-Consistent Mask Prediction

We study the task of establishing object-level visual correspondence across different viewpoints in videos, focusing on the challenging egocentric-to-exocentric and exocentric-to-egocentric scenarios. We propose a simple yet effective framework based on conditional binary segmentation, where an object query mask is encoded into a latent representation to guide the localization of the corresponding object in a target video. To encourage robust, view-invariant representations, we introduce a cycle-consistency training objective: the predicted mask in the target view is projected back to the source view to reconstruct the original query mask. This bidirectional constraint provides a strong self-supervisory signal without requiring ground-truth annotations and enables test-time training (TTT) at inference. Experiments on the Ego-Exo4D and HANDAL-X benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of our optimization objective and TTT strategy, achieving state-of-the-art performance. Beyond 2D Matching: A Unified Single-Stage Framework for Geometry-Aware Cross-View Object Geo-Localization

Cross-view object geo-localization (CVOGL) aims to locate a target object from a query view (e.g., ground or drone) within a geo-tagged reference image (e.g., satellite). Existing approaches heavily rely on 2D appearance matching and are constrained by limited datasets lacking geometric metadata, diverse prompts, and standard field-of-view imagery. To address these intertwined challenges, we first introduce \dataset, a large-scale, high-fidelity building dataset comprising over 220,000 ground-satellite and drone-satellite pairs. It provides multi-modal prompts (points, boxes, masks) and camera poses to enable flexible target referring and explicit spatial modeling. Furthermore, we propose a novel single-stage Geometry-Aware Geo-localization framework (GAGeo), built upon the permutation-equivariant 3D foundation model π3π^3. By seamlessly integrating visual features, referring prompts, and learnable task tokens, our model adapts the inherited 3D prior to jointly predict bounding boxes, segmentation masks, and camera poses in a single forward pass. Additionally, we introduce a contrastive loss that utilizes the satellite view as a universal anchor, implicitly aligning ground and drone representations to enable zero-shot ground-to-drone localization without requiring triplet training data. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods, exhibiting exceptional generalization ability in unseen scenes and novel cross-view setups.
