Abstract

Real-time texture transfer expands the creative horizon for interactive applications, enabling seamless detail projection in scenarios that range from digital character cosmetics to procedural automotive texturing. Yet, its practical application is governed by inherent trade-offs between processing speed and suppression of artifacts. Low-latency transfer methods frequently fail to suppress artifacts, and robust alternatives rely on large-scale models that are costly in training and memory. Our proposed method bridges the gap between efficiency and robustness by using a cage-based geometric filtering method to identify Non-Cosmetic Zones (NCZs) for artifact suppression. While other models are resource-intensive and require multiple days of training on manually annotated datasets, we are able to successfully suppress artifacts and achieve immediate deployment on consumer-grade hardware. Our framework achieved highly efficient runtimes of ~70ms on mobile devices for a ~4.8k triangle mesh.

GeoCache: Training-Free Acceleration of Multi-View Texture Diffusion via Geometric Delta Transport

Geometry-conditioned multi-view diffusion enables high-quality 3D texture generation, but its repeated per-view denoiser evaluations introduce substantial computational cost. Existing training-free accelerators primarily exploit temporal redundancy by reusing computation across denoising steps. In multi-view texturing, however, skipping a step also removes the cross-view interaction that continually aligns different observations of the same surface, leading to rapidly degraded consistency and fidelity. Our analysis identifies a complementary source of redundancy: although intermediate features remain view-specific, geometrically corresponding surface points exhibit transferable evolution in their predicted clean signals. Based on this observation, we introduce \gc{}, a training-free plugin that evaluates a rotating subset of anchor views and transports their geometry-aligned per-step \xz\xz updates to the remaining views. Periodic full-view computation controls accumulated error, while sampler-consistent reconstruction preserves the denoising trajectory. \gc{} requires neither retraining nor architectural modification and uses the position maps already available in geometry-conditioned texturing pipelines. Across Hunyuan3D-2.1, SyncMVD, and MVPainter, \gc{} achieves a stronger speed--fidelity trade-off than temporal caches and step reduction at operating points above 2×2\times. On Hunyuan3D-2.1, it delivers a 2.21×2.21\times denoiser-loop speedup with an MV-LPIPS of 0.0293 and an MV-PSNR of 33.60 dB, providing the best fidelity among all tested methods above 2×2\times. The same transferred configuration reaches the highest speedup and lowest FLOPs on SyncMVD, while \gc{} achieves the lowest FLOPs and best fidelity among the accelerated methods on MVPainter. These results establish cross-view geometry as an effective acceleration axis for multi-view texture diffusion.

DealMaTe: Multi-Dimensional Material Transfer via Diffusion Transformer

Recently, diffusion-based material transfer methods rely on image fine-tuning or complex architectures with auxiliary networks but face challenges such as text dependency, additional computational costs, and feature misalignment. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{DealMaTe}, using \underline{\textbf{de}}pth, norm\underline{\textbf{a}}l, and \underline{\textbf{l}}ighting images for \underline{\textbf{ma}}terial \underline{\textbf{t}}ransf\underline{\textbf{e}}r. DealMaTe is a simplified diffusion framework that eliminates text guidance and reference networks. We design a lightweight 3D information injection method, Multi-Dim 3D Shader LoRA, which, without modifying the base model weights, enables compatible control conditions and achieves harmonious and stable results. Additionally, we optimize the attention mechanism with Shader Causal Mutual Attention and key-value (KV) caching to reduce inference latency caused by multiple conditions, improve computational efficiency, and achieve high-quality material transfer results with low architectural complexity. Extensive experiments covering a wide variety of objects and lighting conditions consistently demonstrate that DealMaTe achieves remarkable high-fidelity material transfer under arbitrary input materials. Generative Texture Filtering

We present a generative method for texture filtering, which exhibits surprisingly good performance and generalizability. Our core idea is to empower texture filtering by taking full advantage of the strong learned image prior of pre-trained generative models. To this end, we propose to fine-tune a pre-trained generative model via a two-stage strategy. Specifically, we first conduct supervised fine-tuning on a very small set of paired images, and then perform reinforcement fine-tuning on a large-scale unlabeled dataset under the guidance of a reward function that quantifies the quality of texture removal and structure preservation. Extensive experiments show that our method clearly outperforms previous methods, and is effective to deal with previously challenging cases.
