Abstract

Humanoid robots have the potential to perform dexterous manipulation in human environments, yet acquiring diverse and generalizable skills remains costly due to expensive hardware data collection and labor-intensive annotation. Recent advances in video generative models provide a promising opportunity to synthesize rich manipulation experiences from visual observations, but transferring such imagined behaviors into executable whole-body humanoid skills remains largely unexplored. In this work, we present RoboReact, a framework that automatically synthesizes whole-body humanoid manipulation skills from a single egocentric RGB-D observation. RoboReact generates human manipulation videos, extracts geometry-preserving interaction keyframes through depth-aware 3D reconstruction, and retargets them to high-DoF humanoid platforms while preserving hand-object interaction geometry. To bridge the gap between imagined plans and physical execution, RoboReact performs online object-centric re-grounding and leverages a vision-language model-guided refinement loop to adapt skills under geometric mismatch and execution deviations. The refined skills are executed through a whole-body controller, enabling coordinated whole-body manipulation and dexterous interaction. Experiments on real humanoid robots demonstrate that RoboReact generalizes across diverse object configurations and robustly recovers from execution disturbances without requiring teleoperation or human demonstrations. These results highlight the potential of combining generative models, vision-language reasoning, and closed-loop control for scalable humanoid skill acquisition.

Video2Sim2Real: Full-Stack Autonomous Dexterous Skill Acquisition from a Single Human Video

Human manipulation videos are a convenient and intuitive source for robot learning. However, directly transferring human dexterity to robots remains challenging due to perception errors and embodiment gap. To address this, we introduce Video2Sim2Real, a full-stack framework for autonomous skill acquisition from a single human manipulation video. Our framework first uses off-the-shelf foundation models to reconstruct a simulator-ready digital twin and extract robot and object motion priors. Rather than treating the extracted robot motion as a reliable reference throughout execution, our key idea is to recover and leverage the most fundamental sources of supervision from the demonstrated skill: We identify object-centric keyframes to optimize the corresponding robot configurations using object information from the simulator, and use these configurations as anchors that refine the robot motion such that it ultimately has the desired impact on the environment. To bridge the remaining sim-to-real gap, we introduce a sim-to-real strategy that decouples robustness to noisy and incomplete perception from variations in hand-object interaction dynamics. Specifically, we learn to recalibrate robot configurations from noisy real-world point clouds via IL, and leverage residual RL to perform local finger-level adaptations to ensure for robust and effective interactions. Finally, a collision-aware motion planning module enables spatial generalization to novel object configurations. Across several everyday manipulation tasks, Video2Sim2Real improves simulated task success, safety, and trajectory coherence over numerous baselines, and achieves better sim-to-real transfer than existing techniques. These results demonstrate a promising path toward autonomous dexterous skill acquisition from human videos.

GTA-2: A Multi-VLM Framework for Synthesizing Robot Manipulation Skills via Grounded Task Axes

Robotic manipulation tasks are often decomposed into behaviors or skills. However, one often needs to predefine these behaviors for specific tasks or try to cover a wide range of tasks using generic skills. As a result, these behaviors can remain too coarse to expose the geometric, control, and scene-dependent decisions required for execution. We introduce Grounded Task Axes v2 (GTA-2), a modular multi-VLM framework that constructs executable, task-bespoke manipulation skills from reusable object-centric task-axis components. Rather than predicting actions end-to-end or composing fixed task-level primitives, GTA-2 represents each skill as semantic subtasks comprising task-relevant keypoints and axes, controller compositions, and scene-dependent parameters. Four specialized VLM agents separately decompose the task, construct an abstract task-axis skill, assign controller parameters, and ground the required visual features from RGB-D observations. This abstraction-to-grounding factorization enables zero-shot skill generation without task-specific robot demonstrations, policy training, or fine-tuning. It also keeps intermediate decisions explicit, allowing targeted human feedback to refine an incorrect stage while preserving correct components. We evaluate GTA-2 on 14 real-robot manipulation tasks against a VLA policy pi_{0.5} and two Code-as-Policies baselines using task-axis controllers or conventional robot primitives. GTA-2 achieves an average zero-shot success rate of 73.9%, exceeding the strongest baseline by 31.4 percentage points, while targeted refinement raises GTA-2's average success rate to 90.7%. SynAgent: Generalizable Cooperative Humanoid Manipulation via Solo-to-Cooperative Agent Synergy

Controllable cooperative humanoid manipulation is a fundamental yet challenging problem for embodied intelligence, due to severe data scarcity, complexities in multi-agent coordination, and limited generalization across objects. In this paper, we present SynAgent, a unified framework that enables scalable and physically plausible cooperative manipulation by leveraging Solo-to-Cooperative Agent Synergy to transfer skills from single-agent human-object interaction to multi-agent human-object-human scenarios. To maintain semantic integrity during motion transfer, we introduce an interaction-preserving retargeting method based on an Interact Mesh constructed via Delaunay tetrahedralization, which faithfully maintains spatial relationships among humans and objects. Building upon this refined data, we propose a single-agent pretraining and adaptation paradigm that bootstraps synergistic collaborative behaviors from abundant single-human data through decentralized training and multi-agent PPO. Finally, we develop a trajectory-conditioned generative policy using a conditional VAE, trained via multi-teacher distillation from motion imitation priors to achieve stable and controllable object-level trajectory execution. Extensive experiments demonstrate that SynAgent significantly outperforms existing baselines in both cooperative imitation and trajectory-conditioned control, while generalizing across diverse object geometries. Codes and data will be available after publication. Project Page: http://yw0208.github.io/synagent
