Abstract

Palmyra x6 is a large language model optimized for use with enterprise-oriented agentic tasks. The model was built by post-training a Mixture-of-Experts base model with Anchored Supervised Fine-Tuning on a compact corpus of verified, synthetic tool-use trajectories, optimized with a Muon + Adam hybrid. The recipe is deliberately conservative and deliberately controlled: 626 trajectories, a single epoch, a low learning rate, and a KL anchor to the frozen base. The model shows substantial gains over the previous default model for Writer Agent, and compares favorably with several recent models on public benchmarks, scoring the highest on BFCL Core at 0.7850.785 and posts the highest six-benchmark mean of the cohort. Furthermore, the model has shown itself to be competitive or leading relative to comparators in our bias and safety evaluations.

Salesforce Koa: An Enterprise Language Model for Agentic Tool Use

We present Salesforce Koa, an enterprise language model built by post-training the open-weight Nemotron-3-Super-120B foundation model with reinforcement learning using Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO). Salesforce Koa is trained on public and synthetically generated data, with no customer data, to improve tool use and agentic capabilities while preserving strong general-purpose performance. Its distinctive component is a simulation-to-reward pipeline that expands workflow specifications into persona-conditioned multi-turn tasks with task-resolution rewards grounded in successful tool use for data-dependent requests. For enterprise domains, these specifications are written in Agent Script, Salesforce's declarative language for building Agentforce agents; for public tool-use domains, we synthesize the workflow structure directly. The same simulation and grounded-reward machinery drives GRPO across both. Across public tool-use, agentic-reasoning, and enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) benchmarks, Salesforce Koa improves over its open-weight base, with the clearest gains on multi-turn tool use, and surpasses a strong proprietary baseline while remaining below the strongest frontier models. These results show that specification-driven reinforcement learning is a practical path to specializing open-weight foundation models for enterprise agentic tasks.

Nemotron 3 Ultra: Open, Efficient Mixture-of-Experts Hybrid Mamba-Transformer Model for Agentic Reasoning

We introduce Nemotron 3 Ultra, a 550 billion total and 55 billion active parameter Mixture-of-Experts Hybrid Mamba-Attention language model. We pre-trained Nemotron 3 Ultra on 20 trillion text tokens, then extended the context length to 1M tokens, and post-trained using Supervised Fine Tuning (SFT), Reinforcement Learning (RL), and Multi-teacher On-Policy Distillation (MOPD). Nemotron 3 Ultra is our most capable model yet, employing multiple key technologies - LatentMoE, Multi Token Prediction (MTP), NVFP4 pre-training, multi-environment RLVR, MOPD, and reasoning budget control. Nemotron 3 Ultra achieves up to ~6x higher inference throughput as compared to state-of-the-art publicly available LLMs while attaining on-par accuracy. The state-of-the-art accuracy, high inference throughput, and 1M token context length make Nemotron 3 Ultra ideal for long-running autonomous agentic tasks. We open-source the base, post-trained, and quantized checkpoints, along with the training data and recipe on HuggingFace.

AutoTrainess: Teaching Language Models to Improve Language Models Autonomously

Training language models (LMs) remains a highly human-intensive process, even as frontier language model agents become increasingly capable at software engineering and other long-horizon tasks. A central challenge is that autonomous post-training is not just a coding problem: it requires the agent to repeatedly plan iterations, construct benchmark-aligned data, run stable training jobs, evaluate checkpoints, and preserve experiment state across many hours of interaction. We present AutoTrainess, a LM agent that exposes these operations as a repository of agent-computer interfaces for planning, data preparation, training, evaluation, and logging. Rather than leaving the agent to operate in a raw CLI environment with an underspecified action space, AutoTrainess externalizes prior human experience as explicit workflows, rules, and execution constraints that guide the agent toward effective and reliable training behavior. On PostTrainBench, AutoTrainess consistently outperforms CLI-only baselines, achieving 26.94 average score with GPT-5.4 (Codex) versus 23.21 for CLI-only. It also generalizes across models and harnesses, improving DeepSeek-V4-Flash (OpenCode) from 12.13 to 19.58.
