With the rising demand to decouple objects from 3D scenes, we propose SAMV-DUSt3R, an end-to-end model that injects SAM2 2D masks into MV-DUSt3R reconstruction. A Cross Flow Mask Block uses these masks to steer the network toward the target instance, jointly improving shape accuracy and achieving object-level disentanglement without multi-stage pipelines. To ensure reconstruction stability, a lightweight Spatial RankGNN selects the optimal reference view with a selection accuracy of 73.5%. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method boosts average reconstruction precision by 11% across various metrics compared to state-of-the-art baselines. These results reveal a strong instance-disentanglement capability and clear benefits for driving, robotics, AR/VR, and heritage digitisation.
We propose a mask-free method for lossless multi-object 3D reconstruction from sparse and occluded real-world views, enabling physically plausible robotic interaction via Material Point Method (MPM) simulation. Our key insight is that object coupling stems from occlusion and limited viewpoints, which we address by formulating multi-object decoupling as a sparse-view reconstruction problem. Using 3D Gaussian Splatting as base representation, we first obtain coarse instance partitions with a SAM2-trained segmentation field. Rather than relying on masks, we reconstruct fragmented geometries by leveraging a joint Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) process, which integrates reference-view supervision with novel-view synthesis guided by 2D and 3D diffusion priors to enforce both texture fidelity and 3D consistency. Furthermore, we incorporate geometry-aware priors such as intra-object and inter-object similarity to regularize geometric reasoning. Experimental results demonstrate that our method produces complete, simulation-ready 3D objects without requiring manual masks, enabling realistic dynamic interactions on both synthetic, robotic and real-world datasets.
Consistent multi-view object segmentation is critical for 3D perception and robotics, yet remains challenging under severe viewpoint and occlusion changes. Existing methods typically perform 3D instance segmentation on point clouds or rely on offline 2D mask-matching pipelines. However, 3D instance segmentation is limited by scarce 3D annotations, while offline 2D matching suffers from object identity ambiguity across frames. To leverage strong 2D and 3D priors jointly, we propose SAM-V (Geometry-Aware Segment Anything for Multi-View Instance Segmentation). Instead of combining the two priors through post-hoc matching, SAM-V directly integrates features from a feed-forward geometry model (VGGT) into a 2D segmentation foundation model (SAM), trained end-to-end for cross-view instance prediction. SAM-V introduces a prompt-fusion mechanism that enriches sparse SAM prompt tokens with view-specific camera tokens and local VGGT features, making the prompt representation both view-aware and spatially grounded, together with a mask decoder that attends to dense 2D and 3D features. By conditioning the mask decoding directly on multi-view geometry, SAM-V produces consistent multi-view segmentation of a prompted object in a single forward pass without offline mask matching or explicit 3D reconstruction. On the IGGT 3D tracking benchmark, where consistent instance identity across frames directly determines performance, SAM-V improves overall IoU by 5 points and frame-level recall by 12 points on the ScanNet++ split over the state-of-the-art multi-view instance segmentation baseline and leads on all metrics in the zero-shot ScanNet split. Our code and pretrained models are available at https://github.com/gong208/SAM-V.git.
A 3D scene is understood through its objects, not the primitives that compose them. Yet feed-forward reconstruction methods output dense, unstructured sets of points or Gaussians, leaving object-level structure to be recovered after the fact. We propose a feed-forward framework that decomposes a scene into instance-structured 3D token groups directly from unposed multi-view images -- compact object-centric units from which reconstruction, segmentation, and manipulation all follow. Each token group pairs an instance token capturing entity-level identity with anchor tokens that encode local geometry and appearance, which are decoded into a set of 3D Gaussians. This two-level factorization decouples object identity from local appearance, making object instances a native interface of the representation rather than a derived product. The token groups are learned through differentiable rendering with joint reconstruction and segmentation supervision, requiring no 3D annotations. Our feed-forward model surpasses per-scene optimization baselines in class-agnostic instance segmentation while remaining competitive in novel view synthesis. Beyond these metrics, the same token groups directly unlock instance-level scene editing -- removing, translating, or inserting objects by operating on their groups -- as well as efficient open-vocabulary 3D instance retrieval, where retrieval complexity scales with the number of instances rather than primitives.
