Abstract

While single-view 3D reconstruction has seen significant progress, extrapolating complex 3D structures from inherently ambiguous 2D observations remains fundamentally ill-posed, particularly in the critically underexplored data-scarce regime. To address this challenge, we propose Point Diffusion Mamba (PDM), a method that integrates the generative power of diffusion models with the efficiency of state-space model for single-view 3D reconstruction under data-scarce conditions. Specifically, PDM employs a lightweight reconstruction module tailored to handle unordered point-cloud inputs effectively. By combining a Local Geometric Aggregation module with Mamba blocks, our approach jointly models global geometric structures and local details. In 3D reconstruction, each point in the initial noisy input requires a precise prediction, yet the high-level features extracted by the Mamba module capture only abstract semantic information from sparse points. To bridge this gap, we introduce the Hierarchical Feature Integration Network, which fuses high-level semantic and local geometric features for each point, overcoming the limitations of token-based point-cloud reconstruction. Furthermore, we propose a Dynamic Weighted Sampling strategy that adaptively unifies 3D generation with single-view reconstruction by leveraging generative priors to enhance reconstruction quality. Experimental results on the ShapeNet and Pix3D benchmarks demonstrate that PDM outperforms state-of-the-art methods, providing an effective solution for 3D reconstruction under data-scarce settings. OPERA: Object Perception Enhances Single-view 3D Reconstruction

Single-view 3D reconstruction is a challenging task in computer vision due to information missing from the single input image. Generative model-based approaches can produce plausible 3D objects from a single image, thanks to data-driven priors learnt from rich and large-scale datasets. However, plausible generation does not guarantee fidelity to the geometry and appearance of the particular input object. Inspired by object perception in human vision, we propose OPERA, a framework that guides multi-view diffusion sampling with pretrained perception models through lightweight alignment modules. These modules are trained independently while both the generative and perception models remain frozen, allowing multiple signals to be combined at inference without joint fusion training. We evaluate OPERA on two single-view 3D reconstruction baselines using subsets of Google Scanned Objects and OmniObject3D. On the primary baseline, combined guidance reduces mean Chamfer Distance by 30.4% and 24.8%, respectively, relative to unguided reconstruction. We also compare our method with recent image-to-3D models. We provide in-depth analyses of the design choices and their effects across datasets and backbones. AnyRecon: Arbitrary-View 3D Reconstruction with Video Diffusion Model

Sparse-view 3D reconstruction is essential for modeling scenes from casual captures, but remain challenging for non-generative reconstruction. Existing diffusion-based approaches mitigates this issues by synthesizing novel views, but they often condition on only one or two capture frames, which restricts geometric consistency and limits scalability to large or diverse scenes. We propose AnyRecon, a scalable framework for reconstruction from arbitrary and unordered sparse inputs that preserves explicit geometric control while supporting flexible conditioning cardinality. To support long-range conditioning, our method constructs a persistent global scene memory via a prepended capture view cache, and removes temporal compression to maintain frame-level correspondence under large viewpoint changes. Beyond better generative model, we also find that the interplay between generation and reconstruction is crucial for large-scale 3D scenes. Thus, we introduce a geometry-aware conditioning strategy that couples generation and reconstruction through an explicit 3D geometric memory and geometry-driven capture-view retrieval. To ensure efficiency, we combine 4-step diffusion distillation with context-window sparse attention to reduce quadratic complexity. Extensive experiments demonstrate robust and scalable reconstruction across irregular inputs, large viewpoint gaps, and long trajectories.

DecoRec: Decomposed 3D Scene Reconstruction from Single-View Images via Object-Level Diffusion

In this paper, we introduce DecoRec, a novel system designed to elevate single-view 2D images to a decomposed 3D scene mesh. Current methods for single-view scene reconstruction typically rely on object retrieval or the regression of coarse 3D voxels or surfaces, leading to inaccuracies in capturing the appearance and geometry of the input image. The lack of high-quality large-scale scene-level datasets further complicates direct 3D scene generation from single-view images. To achieve high-quality 3D scene generation from a single-view image, DecoRec takes advantage of recent diffusion-based single-view object reconstruction methods to reconstruct individual objects separately. Subsequently, a refinement pipeline is proposed to effectively merge these reconstructed objects, enhancing appearance and geometry through a differentiable rendering technique and diffusion-guided refinement. Our results demonstrate that DecoRec facilitates high-quality single-view scene reconstruction in both geometry and novel synthesis, offering significant benefits for downstream applications like room interior design.
