Abstract

Digital advertising is an important means for platforms to reach potential users and drive business growth. Advertising delivery is the core link between marketing objectives and actual returns. Existing methods have achieved partial automation in individual tasks such as bidding and budget allocation, but they still rely on human operators for overall coordination, making it difficult to support large-scale operations. They also often fail to achieve optimal performance, and individual experience remains difficult to turn into reusable operational capabilities. In addition, as advertising markets change, advertising delivery systems need timely strategy updates to remain effective in dynamic markets. To automate the entire advertising operations process and improve adaptability to market changes, we propose AdCoEvo, a co-evolving multi-agent advertising delivery system. Specifically, the system connects delivery decisions across different timescales and operational granularities through role specialization. Diagnostic results guide account planning and strategy adjustment in the next period. The multi-agent system updates its model parameters based on actual delivery outcomes and continually improves delivery strategies through mutual feedback among planning, adjustment, and diagnosis, thereby achieving co-evolution. Experiments show that, relative to the rule-based operational baseline (Rule), AdCoEvo increases advertiser value by 14.02% while reducing cost per acquisition by 7.07%. Compared with a multi-agent system with fixed parameters, AdCoEvo increases advertiser value by 3.96% and reduces cost per acquisition by 1.24%, indicating that co-evolution can yield greater delivery returns.

Beyond Single-Episode Optimization: Sliding-Window Aware Generative Auto-Bidding for Long-Term Advertising Effectiveness

Auto-bidding systems optimize bids to maximize value under efficiency constraints such as Cost-Per-Action (CPA). Existing methods treat each day as an independent episode. However, many advertisers produce value so sparsely that per-day efficiency ratios become statistically unreliable, undermining advertiser retention. Platforms therefore evaluate window-level efficiency over sliding windows of W=7W{=}7 days, ensuring fair evaluation and long-term advertising effectiveness. This creates cross-episode coupling: each day's bidding decisions affect up to WW overlapping windows, so setting daily targets requires anticipating future market conditions. We propose SWAG-Bid (Sliding-Window Aware Generative Auto-Bidding), a hierarchical framework decomposing this challenge into episode-level planning and step-level execution. The planner uses a Masked Trajectory Model to forecast markets and generate candidate plans, scored across all overlapping windows by Multi-Window Model Predictive Control Sampling (MWMS) with exponential confidence decay. The controller adjusts reliance on this guidance through a state-adaptive gate, Per-Step Gated Adaptive Layer Normalization (PSG-AdaLN), complemented by Return-to-Go and Cost-to-Go channels carrying budget and constraint information. Experiments on AuctionNet-Sparse and online A/B tests on AliExpress show that SWAG-Bid achieves competitive constraint satisfaction and value acquisition under sliding-window evaluation.

AdsWorldEngine: A Self-Evolving Conversational Advertising Agent through Orchestrator and Tool Coevolution

Conversational advertising aims to deliver useful ads within multi-turn assistant interactions. Unlike conventional query-based advertising, where the user's intent is often expressed in a short standalone query, conversational ads must infer latent commercial intent from the current user query, the assistant response, and dialogue history while also deciding whether an ad would be helpful rather than intrusive. We propose AdsWorldEngine, an agentic framework for conversational advertising. AdsWorldEngine uses an Opportunity Gate to determine whether ads should be shown, an Orchestrator to generate commercial intents, call advertising tools, and construct a top-3 ad slate, and an Evaluator to score delivered ads for offline optimization. The central contribution is an iterative actor-tool training procedure: we first train the Orchestrator with supervised fine-tuning and agentic reinforcement learning, then use high- and low-reward rollouts to construct preference data to train tools. This creates a self-improving loop in which the system learns not only how to use advertising tools, but also how to improve them from rewarded behavior. To support subjective production decisions, we introduce label grounded judgment modeling, which trains judgment models from human labels collected under explicit guidelines. It enriches labels with thinking traces, filters inconsistent rationales through reflection, and further optimizes binary judgments with a cost sensitive GRPO variant that preserves asymmetric reward gaps. Offline, AdsWorldEngine improves diversity by 60% and relevance by 80% over the current production ad delivery system. In an online A/B test, it increases RPM by 22% and ads coverage by 74%.

AHBid: An Adaptable Hierarchical Bidding Framework for Cross-Channel Advertising

In online advertising, the inherent complexity and dynamic nature of advertising environments necessitate the use of auto-bidding services to assist advertisers in bid optimization. This complexity is further compounded in multi-channel scenarios, where effective allocation of budgets and constraints across channels with distinct behavioral patterns becomes critical for optimizing return on investment. Current approaches predominantly rely on either optimization-based strategies or reinforcement learning techniques. However, optimization-based methods lack flexibility in adapting to dynamic market conditions, while reinforcement learning approaches often struggle to capture essential historical dependencies and observational patterns within the constraints of Markov Decision Process frameworks. To address these limitations, we propose AHBid, an Adaptable Hierarchical Bidding framework that integrates generative planning with real-time control. The framework employs a high-level generative planner based on diffusion models to dynamically allocate budgets and constraints by effectively capturing historical context and temporal patterns. We introduce a constraint enforcement mechanism to ensure compliance with specified constraints, along with a trajectory refinement mechanism that enhances adaptability to environmental changes through the utilization of historical data. The system further incorporates a control-based bidding algorithm that synergistically combines historical knowledge with real-time information, significantly improving both adaptability and operational efficacy. Extensive experiments conducted on large-scale offline datasets and through online A/B tests demonstrate the effectiveness of AHBid, yielding a 13.57% increase in overall return compared to existing baselines.
