Feminist Metaethics
Feminist metaethics examines the nature of morality and moral judgments, particularly within the context of artificial intelligence (AI) and its development. Current research focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical AI ethics and real-world application, analyzing the power dynamics inherent in AI systems, and critically evaluating the roles and perspectives of those involved in AI ethics development. This work challenges traditional approaches by emphasizing the situatedness of knowledge and the importance of considering context, emotions, and lived experiences when assessing the ethical implications of AI, ultimately aiming to create more equitable and just AI systems.
