Kubernetes Cluster
Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications, primarily used in cloud computing and increasingly in edge environments. Current research focuses on optimizing Kubernetes for diverse workloads, including machine learning (e.g., federated learning and batch inference), and improving resource management through techniques like deep learning and reinforcement learning for automated scheduling and horizontal pod autoscaling. This work is significant for enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of complex distributed systems across various domains, from cloud-based AI platforms to industrial automation and robotics.
