Linguistic Feature
Linguistic features, encompassing various aspects of language structure and use from phonology to syntax and semantics, are central to numerous natural language processing (NLP) tasks. Current research focuses on leveraging these features to improve model performance in areas like speech recognition, machine translation, and detecting AI-generated text, often integrating them with deep learning models such as BERT and GPT. This work highlights the importance of understanding how linguistic features are represented and processed by both humans and AI, with implications for improving the accuracy, interpretability, and robustness of NLP systems across diverse applications.
