Perfusion Map

Perfusion maps visualize blood flow in tissues or organs, providing crucial information for diagnosing and treating conditions like stroke and liver tumors. Current research focuses on developing accurate and efficient methods for generating these maps from various imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET), employing advanced techniques like deep learning (e.g., convolutional neural networks, mixture-of-experts models) to improve accuracy and reduce reliance on time-consuming or radiation-intensive procedures. This work aims to improve diagnostic precision and treatment planning by providing quantitative and qualitative assessments of perfusion, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes.
