Political Party
Political parties are the subject of intense research employing computational methods to analyze their behavior and impact. Current studies focus on quantifying party positions using natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including BERT models and other machine learning algorithms, to analyze manifestos, speeches, and social media activity, aiming to measure ideological similarity, influence of lobby groups, and even predict voting patterns. This research enhances transparency in political processes, improves the measurement of intra-party democracy, and offers new tools for understanding political dynamics and the spread of political information online.
