QR Code

QR codes, initially simple barcodes for data storage and retrieval, are undergoing significant research advancements. Current efforts focus on enhancing their aesthetic appeal using diffusion models and incorporating functionalities like embedded programming languages (QRscript) for smart object control and data processing. These improvements aim to broaden QR code applications beyond simple data transfer, including biochemical data logging and robust location tracking, while simultaneously addressing challenges like scannability in diverse conditions and mitigating deepfake vulnerabilities through cryptographic signing methods. The resulting advancements have implications for various fields, from industrial automation and scientific data management to enhanced user experience and improved security.
