Spanish Corpus
Research on Spanish corpora is expanding rapidly, driven by the need for diverse linguistic resources to advance natural language processing (NLP) and related fields. Current efforts focus on developing and utilizing corpora for various applications, including historical linguistics (analyzing semantic shifts and using LLMs for OCR correction), clinical diagnostics (detecting Parkinson's Disease through speech analysis), and cross-lingual metaphor detection (leveraging multilingual models and parallel corpora with indigenous languages). These corpora are proving invaluable for improving machine translation, enhancing the accuracy of NLP models, and providing insights into language evolution and neurological disorders.
