Vessel Annotation
Vessel annotation, the process of identifying and labeling blood vessels in medical images, is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. Current research focuses on developing efficient and accurate automated annotation methods, often employing deep learning architectures like U-Nets and incorporating techniques such as weakly supervised learning and self-training to reduce the need for extensive manual labeling. These advancements aim to improve the speed and accuracy of vessel segmentation in diverse applications, including cerebrovascular disease analysis, coronary artery disease assessment, and retinal disease diagnosis, ultimately leading to better patient care.
