Abstract

Predicting scene dynamics from visual observations is challenging. Existing methods capture dynamics only within observed boundaries failing to extrapolate far beyond the training sequence. Node-RF (Neural ODE-based NeRF) overcomes this limitation by integrating Neural Ordinary Differential Equations (NODEs) with dynamic Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs), enabling a continuous-time, spatiotemporal representation that generalizes beyond observed trajectories at constant memory cost. From visual input, Node-RF learns an implicit scene state that evolves over time via an ODE solver, propagating feature embeddings via differential calculus. A NeRF-based renderer interprets calculated embeddings to synthesize arbitrary views for long-range extrapolation. Training on multiple motion sequences with shared dynamics allows for generalization to unseen conditions. Our experiments demonstrate that Node-RF can characterize abstract system behavior without explicit model to identify critical points for future predictions.

Space-Time Forecasting of Dynamic Scenes with Motion-aware Gaussian Grouping

Forecasting dynamic scenes remains a fundamental challenge in computer vision, as limited observations make it difficult to capture coherent object-level motion and long-term temporal evolution. We present Motion Group-aware Gaussian Forecasting (MoGaF), a framework for long-term scene extrapolation built upon the 4D Gaussian Splatting representation. MoGaF introduces motion-aware Gaussian grouping and group-wise optimization to enforce physically consistent motion across both rigid and non-rigid regions, yielding spatially coherent dynamic representations. Leveraging this structured space-time representation, a lightweight forecasting module predicts future motion, enabling realistic and temporally stable scene evolution. Experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate that MoGaF consistently outperforms existing baselines in rendering quality, motion plausibility, and long-term forecasting stability. UniDynamics: Event-RGB Fusion for Unified Future 4D Dynamic Scene Generation

We propose UniDynamics, a diffusion-based framework for future 4D dynamic scenes (RGB, depth, and optical flow) generation from a single event-RGB pair, without requiring long histories or control priors as in existing methods, while explicitly modeling future motion fields. The core idea is to leverage event streams to offer an alternative motion prior for single-RGB extrapolation, and to enforce geometric and motion constraints throughout generation via multimodal modeling. Specifically, we design an Event Latent Enhancement (ELE) module to align and enhance event latents into diffusion-injectable conditioning features, providing robust initial motion priors and reliable texture/structure cues. We further introduce a Perceptual Dynamics Space (PDS) embedded in the multi-scale U-Net, which decouples and adaptively interacts depth and flow while continuously feeding back constraints to appearance features, improving geometric-motion consistency for physically plausible and spatiotemporally coherent prediction. Experiments on VKitti2 and DSEC demonstrate state-of-the-art performance, producing high-quality, temporally coherent, and 4D-consistent future predictions, especially under challenging high-speed motion blur.

NeuIDO: Neural Intrinsic Dynamics Operator for Physics-Informed 4D World Models

World models aim to capture environmental dynamics and predict future trajectories, showing growing potential for embodied intelligence. Physics-informed 4D generation integrates physical simulation to predict 3D object interactions, offering a promising pathway toward world models. However, this paradigm relies on manually imposed dynamical assumptions rather than internalizing world dynamics, and thus still leaves a gap toward a true world model. To bridge this gap, we propose NeuIDO, a novel world dynamics modeling framework that learns a unified intrinsic dynamics representation from visual observations, advancing physics-informed 4D generation toward a world model. Specifically, we formulate world modeling as a neural operator learning problem and introduce a two-stage training strategy to learn a generalizable mapping from the visual observation distribution to the intrinsic dynamics distribution. Building on this observation-dynamics mapping, NeuIDO enables zero-shot dynamics inference directly from videos and can be further aligned with complex real-world dynamics via few-shot adaptation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that NeuIDO effectively unifies the intrinsic dynamics underlying diverse visual observations into a shared representation and rapidly infers dynamics in novel scenes.
