Abstract
Native 3D generative models have achieved remarkable fidelity and speed, yet they suffer from a critical limitation: inability to prescribe precise structural articulations, where precise structural control within the native 3D space remains underexplored. This paper proposes SK-Adapter, a simple yet efficient and effective framework that unlocks precise skeletal manipulation for native 3D generation. Moving beyond text or image prompts, which can be ambiguous for precise structure, we treat the 3D skeleton as a first-class control signal. SK-Adapter is a lightweight structural adapter network that encodes joint coordinates and topology into learnable tokens, which are injected into the frozen 3D generation backbone via cross-attention. This design allows the model to not only effectively ``attend'' to specific 3D structural constraints but also preserve its original generative priors. To bridge the data gap, we contribute the Objaverse-TMS dataset, a large-scale dataset of 24k text-mesh-skeleton pairs. Extensive experiments confirm that our method achieves robust structural control while preserving the geometry and texture quality of the foundation model, significantly outperforming existing baselines. Furthermore, we extend this capability to local 3D editing, enabling region-specific editing of existing assets with skeletal guidance, which is unattainable by previous methods. This paper presents Native3D, the first end-to-end 3D scene generation framework that completely bypasses 2D intermediate representations. Traditional approaches typically require adapting 3D representations to the 2D domain to leverage pre-trained diffusion models, which inevitably introduces domain adaptation issues including geometric structural distortion and texture detail degradation. To address these limitations, we design a unified mesh-texture joint representation that simultaneously models both geometric structures and texture features through a Transformer-based scene encoder, effectively maintaining spatial relationships and visual consistency among objects within scenes. We further propose the 3D Representation Alignment Loss (3D REPA Loss), which employs an improved contrastive learning mechanism to align multi-level semantic representations in the latent space, significantly enhancing geometric and textural fidelity. Experimental results demonstrate that Native3D outperforms existing methods in both generation quality and editing flexibility, providing a novel solution for 3D scene editing.
We present DreamCharacter-1, a lightweight post-adaptation framework that calibrates pretrained 3D foundation models toward high-fidelity, production-ready 3D character generation. Building upon a 3D foundation backbone, our pipeline incorporates three task-oriented components: (1) geometry post-training, which enhances fine-grained surface details through geometric preference optimization; (2) texture post-training, which synthesizes high-resolution textures and refines the appearance of occluded regions; and (3) inference acceleration, which enables scalable deployment. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments demonstrate that DreamCharacter-1 produces visually compelling and structurally robust 3D character assets, consistently surpassing state-of-the-art character generation methods.
Synthetic data generation has emerged as a powerful tool for improving data scalability in computer vision. Recent diffusion-based pipelines have demonstrated strong photorealism. However, how to enforce precise 3D structure and pose consistency in generated images remains challenging. Existing methods leverage visual prompts such as edge maps to guide diffusion models, but often suffer from over-conditioning artifacts that degrade image realism and limit dataset quality. In this paper, we present a diffusion-based image generation framework that enforces 3D structural alignment while preserving photorealism through adaptive conditioning. Our framework, Adaptive Conditioning for 3D-Aware Synthetic Data Generation (AC3S), introduces a self-supervised visual prompt modulator that dynamically adjusts the strength of ControlNet conditioning, preventing over-conditioning and enabling the diffusion model to retain its generative expressiveness. To further enhance diversity and semantic consistency, we develop a multi-agent vision language model framework that composes detailed and 3D-aware prompts aligned with the underlying geometric structure. Together, these components enable the scalable generation of high-quality synthetic datasets with accurate 2D and 3D annotations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly improves image quality and downstream utility.
