Abstract

The Nymeria Dataset, released in 2024, is a large-scale collection of in-the-wild human activities captured with multiple egocentric wearable devices that are spatially localized and temporally synchronized. It provides body-motion ground truth recorded with a motion-capture suit, device trajectories, semi-dense 3D point clouds, and in-context narrations. In this paper, we upgrade Nymeria and introduce NymeriaPlus. NymeriaPlus features: (1) improved human motion in Momentum Human Rig (MHR) and SMPL formats; (2) dense 3D and 2D bounding box annotations for indoor objects and structural elements; (3) instance-level 3D object reconstructions; and (4) additional modalities e.g., basemap recordings, audio, and wristband videos. By consolidating these complementary modalities and annotations into a single, coherent benchmark, NymeriaPlus strengthens Nymeria into a more powerful in-the-wild egocentric dataset. We expect NymeriaPlus to bridge a key gap in existing egocentric resources and to support a broader range of research, including unique explorations of multimodal learning for embodied AI.

Ego-Exo4D Human Meshes Dataset: 4D Human Motion Reconstruction for Ego-Exo Captures

Ego-Exo4D is a large-scale dataset providing synchronized egocentric and multi-view exocentric video, a rich resource for skill learning and assessment, procedural activity understanding, and embodied AI. However, the dataset ships with only sparse 3D human pose annotations, and reconstructing dense human motion from its multi-view captures is nontrivial. To this end, we present Ego-Exo4D-HM, a large-scale dataset of 4D human motion reconstructions for Ego-Exo4D's captures, and release the accompanying reconstruction pipeline. The code, dataset, and documentation can be found at https://abhiram824.github.io/egoexo4d_human_meshes.

EgoHTR: Egocentric 4D Demonstrations of Human Terrain Traversal

Deploying humanoid robots in unstructured terrain remains an open problem. While classic reinforcement learning struggles with the sheer complexity of real-world interactions, more promising methods leveraging human priors remain limited to models lacking contextual awareness. The restricted motion synthesis is a direct consequence of existing dataset pipelines failing to capture human-scene sequences in challenging environments. To bridge this gap between humanoid learning and scene reconstruction, we introduce the Egocentric Human-Terrain Reconstruction (EgoHTR) dataset. We develop and open-source a reconstruction pipeline capturing 55 scene-aligned 4D human motion sequences in diverse, complex environments using a multi-sensor setup of egocentric wearables and a portable 3D scanner. The resulting dataset comprises over 150k frames, which we evaluate against motion-capture ground truth, demonstrating state-of-the-art accuracy and establishing a rigorous benchmark for human motion analysis and synthesis. Further, we leverage this data to train perceptive locomotion policies, demonstrating hardware deployment on a Unitree G1 for reconstructed reference motions. Our pipeline enables community-driven dataset extensions and factors the problem to help researchers build foundational, context-aware robots that reliably traverse uneven terrain.

ACE-Data-0: Human-Centric Ambient Capture as Embodied Data Engine

Embodied intelligence faces a fundamental data bottleneck. Models must capture how first-person perception, whole-body motion, dexterous manipulation, object state, sound, and touch evolve together as humans pursue goals over time. Existing datasets fragment this experience across viewpoints, modalities, or spatial scales, leaving the full perception-action loop only partially observed. We introduce the Ambient Capture Engine (ACE), a human-centric data engine that transforms real home environments into spatially calibrated, temporally synchronized recording studios. ACE operates at two complementary scales: a table-scale configuration resolves hand-object manipulation, while a room-scale configuration captures whole-body motion, locomotion, and interactions across a furnished home. ACE records egocentric and multi-view exocentric video, full-body and articulated hand motion, object geometry and 6-DoF trajectories, audio, and tactile signals as a unified multisensory stream. Using ACE, we build ACE-Data-0, comprising 150 hours and 17M video frames across 200 task categories, performed by 50 participants in 2 environments, for a total of 75,000 interaction episodes. The dataset spans atomic manipulation, long-horizon chains of household activities, and human-scene interaction, while preserving natural behavioral variation through goal-level rather than step-by-step instructions. We further introduce a hierarchical benchmark that progresses from signals to scene components and then to interactions. Evaluations of state-of-the-art methods expose substantial gaps under contact, occlusion, egomotion, and long temporal horizons. ACE-Data-0 provides synchronized human demonstrations with aligned perceptual, kinematic, and contact supervision, offering a scalable foundation for imitation learning, world models, vision-language-action systems, and embodied AI.
