Abstract

Constructing complex physical worlds from language requires coordinating extensive 3D environments, detailed structures and objects at different spatial scales, and interacting physical processes under both stated goals and implicit physical constraints. We present WorldAgent, an agentic framework for verification-guided physical world construction from a single natural-language prompt, without iterative user debugging. A world construction layer expands the prompt into a structured world specification and uses physical knowledge to build scenes and run numerical simulations. After every step, a verification layer inspects scene geometry and simulation states alongside rendered views. Failed checks guide automatic revisions to the specification and re-execution of the affected steps. Accepted worlds pass the required checks and remain editable for further inspection and resimulation. We introduce AgenticSimBench, on which WorldAgent achieves the best scores among the evaluated agent-based methods on five of seven metrics. In a 26-participant user study, it receives the highest mean ratings across all four criteria.

Coding Agent Is Good As World Simulator

World models have emerged as a powerful paradigm for building interactive simulation environments, with recent video-based approaches demonstrating impressive progress in generating visually plausible dynamics. However, because these models typically infer dynamics from video and represent them in latent states, they do not explicitly enforce physical constraints. As a result, the generated video rollouts are not physically plausible, exhibiting unstable contacts, distorted shapes, or inconsistent motion. In this paper, we present an agentic framework constructing physics-based world models through executable simulation code. The framework coordinates planning, code generation, visual review, and physics analysis agents. The planning agent converts the natural language prompt into a structured scene plan, the code agent implements it as executable simulation code, and the visual review agent provide visual feedback while the physics analysis agent checks physical consistency. The code is iteratively revised based on the feedback until the simulation matches the prompt reqirements and physical constraints. Experimental results show that our framework outperforms advanced video-based models in physical accuracy, instruction fidelity and visual quality, which could be applied to various scenarios including driving simulation and embodied robot tasks.

WorldSolver: Can LLM Agents Simulate the Physical Dynamics via Solver Generation?

LLM-based agents are increasingly advancing scientific and engineering problem solving, with physics simulation emerging as a challenging yet practical testbed for reproducing complex physical phenomena with application in embodied AI, games and films. As the workhorse of such simulation, a solver computes how the state of a dynamic system evolves over time. Building such solvers requires physical understanding to identify appropriate models, mathematical reasoning to formulate the underlying dynamics, and software engineering to implement them as executable code, yet this capability of LLM agents remains underexplored. To this end, we introduce WorldSolver, a benchmark of 168 simulation tasks derived from physical phenomena in 61 classic computer graphics papers, spanning 7 physical domains. Each task contains a code scaffold that provides a fixed simulation environment for the scene, with the solver implementation left for the agent to complete. Specifically, we evaluate them along three dimensions: Execution Checks for successful execution, Visual Fidelity for reproducing the intended dynamic behavior in the rendered simulation, and Physical Plausibility for physics-grounded verification of the generated dynamics. Experiments on frontier agents reveal that producing executable solvers is difficult itself, and satisfying visual and physical correctness is even harder. GPT-5.6-Sol and Claude-Opus-5 perform comparatively better than the other evaluated agents, yet achieve overall scores of only 48.7% and 46.7%, respectively. WorldSolver is an early step toward agentic solver generation, and we hope it helps drive progress toward agents that can faithfully simulate the dynamic physical world. SimWorlds: A Multi-Agent System for Dynamic 3D Scene Creation

LLM agents are increasingly used to translate natural language into 3D scenes in a procedural way, but existing systems focus on static output. Dynamic 4D scenes from text alone, in which liquids flow, particles emit, rigid bodies cascade, and articulated mechanisms move, remain largely unexplored despite their value as editable content and as physics-grounded training data for video generation and embodied AI. Two challenges set the dynamic case apart from static text-to-scene work: an agent must jointly coordinate spatial layout, multiple physics solvers, temporal sequencing, camera, and lighting in a single coherent scene, and verifying motion correctness from rendered video is fundamentally harder than judging a single image. We present SimWorlds: a multi-agent framework that produces dynamic, editable 4D scenes from text, with Blender-specific procedural knowledge, a planner-coder-reviewer workflow driving a fixed ordered sequence of construction stages, a layered scene protocol enforced by a deterministic verifier, and a runtime-state inspection tool suite that catches mechanism failures the rendered image cannot reveal. We also introduce 4DBuildBench, a benchmark for assessing both visual fidelity and physical consistency of the procedural dynamic 3D scenes generated from text prompts. Experiments show that SimWorlds outperforms prior dynamic Blender generation baselines.
