Human Cognitive

Human cognitive research currently focuses on understanding and augmenting human cognitive abilities through interaction with increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence, particularly large language models (LLMs). Key areas of investigation include improving human-AI collaboration to enhance cognitive accuracy and precision, designing AI systems that account for human cognitive limitations (including those of individuals with disabilities), and exploring the emergence of uniquely human cognitive traits, such as analogical reasoning and recursive thought, within LLMs. This research aims to create more effective and inclusive human-AI partnerships, leading to advancements in various fields and a broader democratization of expertise.
