LLaMa LlamaCare
LLaMa (Large Language Model Meta AI) research focuses on developing and adapting large language models for various applications, primarily through fine-tuning pre-trained models on specialized datasets. Current efforts concentrate on improving model performance in specific domains like medicine (LlamaCare), enhancing efficiency through techniques like Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) and parameter-efficient fine-tuning, and mitigating biases and safety concerns. This work is significant because it advances both the capabilities of LLMs and their accessibility, impacting fields ranging from healthcare and software development to political science and image generation.
