Research on multi-story buildings is increasingly focused on improving efficiency and safety through technological advancements. Current efforts involve developing robotic systems for automated tasks like exterior painting, creating detailed digital twins for energy optimization and thermal control using machine learning models (e.g., distributed ADMM and CNN-ELM hybrids), and employing advanced mapping techniques like LiDAR-inertial SLAM for precise 3D modeling. These advancements aim to enhance building management, improve energy efficiency, and ensure safer environments, impacting both the architectural design and building operations sectors.
