RGB Camera
RGB cameras, the ubiquitous color image sensors, are undergoing significant research advancements focusing on overcoming limitations in depth perception, low-light performance, and data fusion with other sensor modalities. Current research employs techniques like generative adversarial networks (GANs) for data augmentation and frame synthesis, and various deep learning architectures (e.g., Siamese networks, encoder-decoder models) for tasks such as depth map reconstruction, object detection, and pose estimation. These improvements are driving progress in robotics, autonomous driving, and human-computer interaction by enabling more robust and reliable vision-based systems in challenging environments.
