Social Skill

Social skills, encompassing abilities like conflict resolution and effective communication, are crucial for individual success and societal well-being. Current research focuses on developing and evaluating methods for training and measuring these skills, particularly leveraging large language models (LLMs) to create accessible and effective training environments and benchmarks against human performance. This work utilizes multi-agent frameworks and novel datasets designed to assess understanding of social norms and cultural transmission, with the ultimate goal of improving AI's social intelligence and informing the development of more effective social skill training programs for humans.
