The Moltbook Observatory Archive: an incremental dataset of agent-only social network activity

Moltbook is a social media platform in which posts and comments are authored exclusively by autonomous AI agents. We present the Moltbook Observatory Archive, an incremental dataset that passively records agent profiles, posts, comments, community metadata (``submolts''), platform-level time-series snapshots, and word-frequency trend aggregates obtained by continuously polling the Moltbook API. Data are stored in a live SQLite observatory database and exported as date-partitioned Parquet files to enable efficient analysis and reproducible research. The documented release covers 78days of platform activity (2026-01-27 to 2026-04-14) and contains 2,615,098posts and 1,213,007comments from 175,886unique posting agents across 6,730~communities. This is, to our knowledge, the first large-scale observational dataset of a social network populated exclusively by autonomous AI agents. The archive is intended to support research on multi-agent communication, emergent social behavior, and safety-relevant phenomena in agent-only online environments, and it is released under the MIT license with code for collection and export.

Hardening x402: PII-Safe Agentic Payments via Pre-Execution Metadata Filtering

AI agents that pay for resources via the x402 protocol embed payment metadata - resource URLs, descriptions, and reason strings - in every HTTP payment request. This metadata is transmitted to the payment server and to the centralised facilitator API before any on-chain settlement occurs; neither party is typically bound by a data processing agreement. We present presidio-hardened-x402, the first open-source middleware that intercepts x402 payment requests before transmission to detect and redact personally identifiable information (PII), enforce declarative spending policies, and block duplicate replay attempts. To evaluate the PII filter, we construct a labeled synthetic corpus of 2,000 x402 metadata triples spanning seven use-case categories, and run a 42-configuration precision/recall sweep across two detection modes (regex, NLP) and five confidence thresholds. The recommended configuration (mode=nlp, min_score=0.4, all entity types) achieves micro-F1 = 0.894 with precision 0.972, at a p99 latency of 5.73ms - well within the 50ms overhead budget. The middleware, corpus, and all experiment code are publicly available at https://github.com/presidio-v/presidio-hardened-x402.

A novel network for classification of cuneiform tablet metadata

In this paper, we present a network structure for classifying metadata of cuneiform tablets. The problem is of practical importance, as the size of the existing corpus far exceeds the number of experts available to analyze it. But the task is made difficult by the combination of limited annotated datasets and the high-resolution point-cloud representation of each tablet. To address this, we develop a convolution-inspired architecture that gradually down-scales the point cloud while integrating local neighbor information. The final down-scaled point cloud is then processed by computing neighbors in the feature space to include global information. Our method is compared with the state-of-the-art transformer-based network Point-BERT, and consistently obtains the best performance. QQ: A Language Metadata Toolkit for Multilingual NLP

Multilingual NLP research increasingly involves hundreds or thousands of languages across different datasets. Managing, discovering, and reporting language metadata becomes a common hurdle at these scales. We present QQ, a metadata toolkit and browser explorer. QQ compiles language metadata sources into a graph of language varieties, scripts, regions, identifiers, names, and relations, and exposes it through a Python API, a command-line interface, and a browser-based explorer. Users can normalize identifiers, retrieve metadata, traverse relations, and discover which external resources contain a language. We demonstrate QQ on three workflows: an audit of the HuggingFace Hub, linking resources that use different identifier systems, and generating reproducible language-reporting tables. QQ supports FAIR-oriented metadata practices through versioning, open formats, and reusable interfaces.

ShardMemo: Scope-Before-Routing for Agentic Memory Retrieval

Agentic systems accumulate persistent memory across sessions, tools, and tasks, and a later request must retrieve from it under two distinct constraints: which memories it is permitted to access, and which are relevant under a limited search budget. Existing memory systems handle access scope in two flawed ways: applying scope after retrieval wastes probe budget on inadmissible memories, while treating scope as a learned ranking feature makes a hard constraint depend on router quality. We present SHARD-MEMO, an agentic memory system built on scope-before-routing: metadata predicates first identify the admissible shards, and a learned router then selects a small number of them for shard-local approximate nearest neighbor retrieval. Given the supplied scope predicate and metadata, this separates hard admissibility from learned relevance ranking, so inadmissible shards cannot consume shard-probe budget. We evaluate on LoCoMo, HotpotQA, and ToolBench, covering conversational, long-context, and procedural memory. Under matched supervision and fixed budgets, SHARDMEMO improves over a learned router baseline by roughly +3 F1 on LoCoMo; in end-to-end LoCoMo evaluation it improves over the strongest evaluated memory baseline by up to +6.8 F1, with gains on HotpotQA and ToolBench.

MAPLE: Metadata Conditioned LLM Pretraining for Locale-Aware Question Answering

Large language models can memorize competing locale-specific facts yet fail to select among them when the locale changes, defaulting instead to a single globally dominant answer. We formalize this as localized knowledge disambiguation and introduce LocalNewsQA, an 18,700-item English-news benchmark that pairs the same question across two locales and scores whether a model actually switches its answer when the locale changes. We also introduce MAPLE, a controlled family of decoder-only models pretrained with document-level geographic metadata (source URL, country, and continent) already present in the training corpus, and compare it to metadata-free controls trained on identical data with the same token budget, architecture, and optimization. In controlled experiments at 1B and 3B, with inference-time metadata fixed, pretraining with metadata in MAPLE produces measurable switching and improves accuracy on questions whose correct answer depends on locale. Ablations and external-benchmark evaluations further suggest that locale-conditioned prediction benefits from geographic provenance learned during pretraining and that these benefits strengthen at larger model sizes.

LLM-Assisted Semantic Alignment and Integration in Collaborative Model-Based Systems Engineering Using SysML v2

Cross-organizational collaboration in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) faces many challenges in achieving semantic alignment across independently developed system models. SysML v2 introduces enhanced structural modularity and formal semantics, offering a stronger foundation for interoperable modeling. Meanwhile, GPT-based Large Language Models (LLMs) provide new capabilities for assisting model understanding and integration. This paper proposes a structured, prompt-driven approach for LLM-assisted semantic alignment of SysML v2 models. The core contribution lies in the iterative development of an alignment approach and interaction prompts, incorporating model extraction, semantic matching, and verification. The approach leverages SysML v2 constructs such as alias, import, and metadata extensions to support traceable, soft alignment integration. It is demonstrated with a GPT-based LLM through an example of a measurement system. Benefits and limitations are discussed.

TRUST-SQL: Tool-Integrated Multi-Turn Reinforcement Learning for Text-to-SQL over Unknown Schemas

Text-to-SQL parsing has achieved remarkable progress under the Full Schema Assumption. However, this premise fails in real-world enterprise environments where databases contain hundreds of tables with massive noisy metadata. Rather than injecting the full schema upfront, an agent must actively identify and verify only the relevant subset, giving rise to the Unknown Schema scenario we study in this work. To address this, we propose TRUST-SQL (Truthful Reasoning with Unknown Schema via Tools). We formulate the task as a Partially Observable Markov Decision Process where our autonomous agent employs a structured four-phase protocol to ground reasoning in verified metadata. Crucially, this protocol provides a structural boundary for our novel Dual-Track GRPO strategy. By applying token-level masked advantages, this strategy isolates exploration rewards from execution outcomes to resolve credit assignment, yielding a 9.9% relative improvement over standard GRPO. Extensive experiments across five benchmarks demonstrate that TRUST-SQL achieves an average absolute improvement of 30.6% and 16.6% for the 4B and 8B variants respectively over their base models. Remarkably, despite operating entirely without pre-loaded metadata, our framework consistently matches or surpasses strong baselines that rely on schema prefilling. Musical Attention Transformer: Music Generation Using a Music-Specific Attention Model

This study aims to enhance the quality of music generation using Transformers by incorporating meta-information. While Transformer-based approaches are effective at capturing long-term dependencies in musical compositions, the music they generate often suffers from issues such as excessive repetition or duplication of notes, leading to unnatural melodies. To address these limitations, we propose Musical Attention, a mechanism that incorporates meta-information such as bar numbers, key, signatures, and tempos into the attention process. Musical Attention explicitly leverages both the structural properties of music and its associated metadata, enabling the Transformer's attention mechanism to operate more effectively and thereby improving the quality of the generated output. In our framework, each musical note is represented as a combination of five events-pitch, bar number, onset, duration, and velocity in addition to the three metadata elements. The attention mechanism is then modified to reflect the correlations among these eight features, allowing the model to better capture the inherent characteristics of musical composition. Experimental results demonstrate that the model incorporating Musical Attention outperforms prior methods, such as Full Attention and Strided Attention, in terms of musical coherence, variation, and overall quality. Notably, it significantly reduces repetition and enhances the model's ability to generate diverse, harmonically consistent melodies. Musical Attention thus represents a meaningful advancement in AI-driven music generation, facilitating the creation of more natural and expressive compositions.
