Temporal Consistency in Video Generation

Overview

This field studies how video generators keep objects, characters, scenes, and actions coherent as time passes, which matters for believable clips, editing, simulation, and long-form storytelling. Common approaches include spatiotemporal attention, optical-flow and 3D geometry cues, physics constraints, keyframe or semantic planning, and memory or cache retrieval; training methods also use rollout simulation, distillation, and preference-based rewards. Recent work extends short-clip diffusion models to long autoregressive and streaming settings, while benchmarks increasingly test motion, world-state memory, and cross-shot continuity alongside visual quality. A central tension is preserving identity and scene structure without suppressing natural motion or new events, and high frame-level fidelity does not necessarily mean a sequence has coherent dynamics.

MemRoPE: Training-Free Infinite Video Generation via Evolving Memory Tokens

Autoregressive diffusion enables real-time frame streaming, yet existing sliding-window caches discard past context, causing fidelity degradation, identity drift, and motion stagnation over long horizons. Current approaches preserve a fixed set of early tokens as attention sinks, but this static anchor cannot reflect the evolving content of a growing video. We introduce MemRoPE, a training-free framework with two co-designed components. Memory Tokens continuously compress all past keys into dual long-term and short-term streams via exponential moving averages, maintaining both global identity and recent dynamics within a fixed-size cache. Online RoPE Indexing caches unrotated keys and applies positional embeddings dynamically at attention time, ensuring the aggregation is free of conflicting positional phases. These two mechanisms are mutually enabling: positional decoupling makes temporal aggregation well-defined, while aggregation makes fixed-size caching viable for unbounded generation. Extensive experiments validate that MemRoPE outperforms existing methods in temporal coherence, visual fidelity, and subject consistency across minute- to hour-scale generation.

FrameDiT: Diffusion Transformer with Matrix Attention for Efficient Video Generation

High-fidelity video generation remains challenging for diffusion models due to the difficulty of modeling complex spatio-temporal dynamics efficiently. Recent video diffusion methods typically represent a video as a sequence of spatio-temporal tokens which can be modeled using Diffusion Transformers (DiTs). However, this approach faces a trade-off between the strong but expensive Full 3D Attention and the efficient but temporally limited Local Factorized Attention. To resolve this trade-off, we propose Matrix Attention, a frame-level temporal attention mechanism that processes an entire frame as a matrix and generates query, key, and value matrices via matrix-native operations. By attending across frames rather than tokens, Matrix Attention effectively preserves global spatio-temporal structure and adapts to significant motion. We build FrameDiT-G, a DiT architecture based on MatrixAttention, and further introduce FrameDiT-H, which integrates Matrix Attention with Local Factorized Attention to capture both large and small motion. Extensive experiments show that FrameDiT-H achieves state-of-the-art results across multiple video generation benchmarks, offering improved temporal coherence and video quality while maintaining efficiency comparable to Local Factorized Attention.

Streaming Autoregressive Video Generation via Diagonal Distillation

Large pretrained diffusion models have significantly enhanced the quality of generated videos, and yet their use in real-time streaming remains limited. Autoregressive models offer a natural framework for sequential frame synthesis but require heavy computation to achieve high fidelity. Diffusion distillation can compress these models into efficient few-step variants, but existing video distillation approaches largely adapt image-specific methods that neglect temporal dependencies. These techniques often excel in image generation but underperform in video synthesis, exhibiting reduced motion coherence, error accumulation over long sequences, and a latency-quality trade-off. We identify two factors that result in these limitations: insufficient utilization of temporal context during step reduction and implicit prediction of subsequent noise levels in next-chunk prediction (i.e., exposure bias). To address these issues, we propose Diagonal Distillation, which operates orthogonally to existing approaches and better exploits temporal information across both video chunks and denoising steps. Central to our approach is an asymmetric generation strategy: more steps early, fewer steps later. This design allows later chunks to inherit rich appearance information from thoroughly processed early chunks, while using partially denoised chunks as conditional inputs for subsequent synthesis. By aligning the implicit prediction of subsequent noise levels during chunk generation with the actual inference conditions, our approach mitigates error propagation and reduces oversaturation in long-range sequences. We further incorporate implicit optical flow modeling to preserve motion quality under strict step constraints. Our method generates a 5-second video in 2.61 seconds (up to 31 FPS), achieving a 277.3x speedup over the undistilled model.

Chain of Event-Centric Causal Thought for Physically Plausible Video Generation

Physically Plausible Video Generation (PPVG) has emerged as a promising avenue for modeling real-world physical phenomena. PPVG requires an understanding of commonsense knowledge, which remains a challenge for video diffusion models. Current approaches leverage commonsense reasoning capability of large language models to embed physical concepts into prompts. However, generation models often render physical phenomena as a single moment defined by prompts, due to the lack of conditioning mechanisms for modeling causal progression. In this paper, we view PPVG as generating a sequence of causally connected and dynamically evolving events. To realize this paradigm, we design two key modules: (1) Physics-driven Event Chain Reasoning. This module decomposes the physical phenomena described in prompts into multiple elementary event units, leveraging chain-of-thought reasoning. To mitigate causal ambiguity, we embed physical formulas as constraints to impose deterministic causal dependencies during reasoning. (2) Transition-aware Cross-modal Prompting (TCP). To maintain continuity between events, this module transforms causal event units into temporally aligned vision-language prompts. It summarizes discrete event descriptions to obtain causally consistent narratives, while progressively synthesizing visual keyframes of individual events by interactive editing. Comprehensive experiments on PhyGenBench and VideoPhy benchmarks demonstrate that our framework achieves superior performance in generating physically plausible videos across diverse physical domains. HiAR: Efficient Autoregressive Long Video Generation via Hierarchical Denoising

Autoregressive (AR) diffusion offers a promising framework for generating videos of theoretically infinite length. However, a major challenge is maintaining temporal continuity while preventing the progressive quality degradation caused by error accumulation. To ensure continuity, existing methods typically condition on highly denoised contexts; yet, this practice propagates prediction errors with high certainty, thereby exacerbating degradation. In this paper, we argue that a highly clean context is unnecessary. Drawing inspiration from bidirectional diffusion models, which denoise frames at a shared noise level while maintaining coherence, we propose that conditioning on context at the same noise level as the current block provides sufficient signal for temporal consistency while effectively mitigating error propagation. Building on this insight, we propose HiAR, a hierarchical denoising framework that reverses the conventional generation order: instead of completing each block sequentially, it performs causal generation across all blocks at every denoising step, so that each block is always conditioned on context at the same noise level. This hierarchy naturally admits pipelined parallel inference, yielding a 1.8 wall-clock speedup in our 4-step setting. We further observe that self-rollout distillation under this paradigm amplifies a low-motion shortcut inherent to the mode-seeking reverse-KL objective. To counteract this, we introduce a forward-KL regulariser in bidirectional-attention mode, which preserves motion diversity for causal inference without interfering with the distillation loss. On VBench (20s generation), HiAR achieves the best overall score and the lowest temporal drift among all compared methods.

SPIRAL: Self-Evolving Action-Conditioned Video Generation via Reflective Planning Agents

Long-horizon action-conditioned video generation aims to synthesize temporally coherent videos that follow complex action instructions over extended horizons, requiring procedural ordering, persistent action execution, and scene consistency beyond conventional TI2V's short-term fidelity. Existing single-shot video generation models typically operate in an open-loop manner, leading to incomplete action execution, hallucinated motions, and temporal drift. To address this, we propose SPIRAL, a closed-loop framework that performs sequential planning and iterative reflection for action-conditioned long-horizon video generation. Specifically, SPIRAL instantiates a think-act-reflect process: a PlanAgent decomposes high-level goals into sub-actions, which condition a VideoGenerator to synthesize each segment alongside a memory context, while a CriticAgent evaluates intermediate video segments to provide corrective feedback for iterative refinement. This closed-loop design further supports self-evolution by utilizing PlanAgent-proposed actions and CriticAgent-derived rewards for GRPO-based post-training to enhance the video generator's long-horizon consistency. Moreover, we introduce ActVideoGen-Dataset for task-specific training, and establish ActVideoGen-Bench as a dedicated evaluation suite for measuring action quality and temporal coherence. Experiments across multiple TI2V backbones alongside the self-evolving strategy show consistent gains on ActVideoGen-Bench and VBench, demonstrating the effectiveness of SPIRAL.

Physical Simulator In-the-Loop Video Generation

Recent advances in diffusion-based video generation have achieved remarkable visual realism but still struggle to obey basic physical laws such as gravity, inertia, and collision. Generated objects often move inconsistently across frames, exhibit implausible dynamics, or violate physical constraints, limiting the realism and reliability of AI-generated videos. We address this gap by introducing Physical Simulator In-the-loop Video Generation (PSIVG), a novel framework that integrates a physical simulator into the video diffusion process. Starting from a template video generated by a pre-trained diffusion model, PSIVG reconstructs the 4D scene and foreground object meshes, initializes them within a physical simulator, and generates physically consistent trajectories. These simulated trajectories are then used to guide the video generator toward spatio-temporally physically coherent motion. To further improve texture consistency during object movement, we propose a Test-Time Texture Consistency Optimization (TTCO) technique that adapts text and feature embeddings based on pixel correspondences from the simulator. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that PSIVG produces videos that better adhere to real-world physics while preserving visual quality and diversity. FlowMotion: Training-Free Flow Guidance for Video Motion Transfer

Video motion transfer aims to generate a target video that inherits motion patterns from a source video while rendering new scenes. Existing training-free approaches focus on constructing motion guidance based on the intermediate outputs of pre-trained T2V models, which results in heavy computational overhead and limited flexibility. In this paper, we present FlowMotion, a novel training-free framework that enables efficient and flexible motion transfer by directly leveraging the predicted outputs of flow-based T2V models. Our key insight is that early latent predictions inherently encode rich temporal information. Motivated by this, we propose flow guidance, which extracts motion representations based on latent predictions to align motion patterns between source and generated videos. We further introduce a velocity regularization strategy to stabilize optimization and ensure smooth motion evolution. By operating purely on model predictions, FlowMotion achieves superior time and resource efficiency as well as competitive performance compared with state-of-the-art methods.

Text-Driven Emotionally Continuous Talking Face Generation

Talking Face Generation (TFG) strives to create realistic and emotionally expressive digital faces. While previous TFG works have mastered the creation of naturalistic facial movements, they typically express a fixed target emotion in synthetic videos and lack the ability to exhibit continuously changing and natural expressions like humans do when conveying information. To synthesize realistic videos, we propose a novel task called Emotionally Continuous Talking Face Generation (EC-TFG), which takes a text segment and an emotion description with varying emotions as driving data, aiming to generate a video where the person speaks the text while reflecting the emotional changes within the description. Alongside this, we introduce a customized model, i.e., Temporal-Intensive Emotion Modulated Talking Face Generation (TIE-TFG), which innovatively manages dynamic emotional variations by employing Temporal-Intensive Emotion Fluctuation Modeling, allowing it to provide emotion variation sequences corresponding to the input text to drive continuous facial expression changes in synthesized videos. Extensive evaluations demonstrate our method's exceptional ability to produce smooth emotion transitions and uphold high-quality visuals and motion authenticity across diverse emotional states.

TempoSyncDiff: Distilled Temporally-Consistent Diffusion for Low-Latency Audio-Driven Talking Head Generation

Diffusion models have recently advanced photorealistic human synthesis, although practical talking-head generation (THG) remains constrained by high inference latency, temporal instability such as flicker and identity drift, and imperfect audio-visual alignment under challenging speech conditions. This paper introduces TempoSyncDiff, a reference-conditioned latent diffusion framework that explores few-step inference for efficient audio-driven talking-head generation. The approach adopts a teacher-student distillation formulation in which a diffusion teacher trained with a standard noise prediction objective guides a lightweight student denoiser capable of operating with significantly fewer inference steps to improve generation stability. The framework incorporates identity anchoring and temporal regularization designed to mitigate identity drift and frame-to-frame flicker during synthesis, while viseme-based audio conditioning provides coarse lip motion control. Experiments on the LRS3 dataset report denoising-stage component-level metrics relative to VAE reconstructions and preliminary latency characterization, including CPU-only and edge computing measurements and feasibility estimates for edge deployment. The results suggest that distilled diffusion models can retain much of the reconstruction behaviour of a stronger teacher while enabling substantially lower latency inference. The study is positioned as an initial step toward practical diffusion-based talking-head generation under constrained computational settings. GitHub: https://mazumdarsoumya.github.io/TempoSyncDiff

Orthogonal Spatial-temporal Distributional Transfer for 4D Generation

In the AIGC era, generating high-quality 4D content has garnered increasing research attention. Unfortunately, current 4D synthesis research is severely constrained by the lack of large-scale 4D datasets, preventing models from adequately learning the critical spatial-temporal features necessary for high-quality 4D generation, thus hindering progress in this domain. To combat this, we propose a novel framework that transfers rich spatial priors from existing 3D diffusion models and temporal priors from video diffusion models to enhance 4D synthesis. We develop a spatial-temporal-disentangled 4D (STD-4D) Diffusion model, which synthesizes 4D-aware videos through disentangled spatial and temporal latents. To facilitate the best feature transfer, we design a novel Orthogonal Spatial-temporal Distributional Transfer (Orster) mechanism, where the spatiotemporal feature distributions are carefully modeled and injected into the STD-4D Diffusion. Furthermore, during the 4D construction, we devise a spatial-temporal-aware HexPlane (ST-HexPlane) to integrate the transferred spatiotemporal features, thereby improving 4D deformation and 4D Gaussian feature modeling. Experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms existing approaches, achieving superior spatial-temporal consistency and higher-quality 4D synthesis.

FC-VFI: Faithful and Consistent Video Frame Interpolation for High-FPS Slow Motion Video Generation

Large pre-trained video diffusion models excel in video frame interpolation but struggle to generate high fidelity frames due to reliance on intrinsic generative priors, limiting detail preservation from start and end frames. Existing methods often depend on motion control for temporal consistency, yet dense optical flow is error-prone, and sparse points lack structural context. In this paper, we propose FC-VFI for faithful and consistent video frame interpolation, supporting 4×4\timesx and 8×8\times interpolation, boosting frame rates from 30 FPS to 120 and 240 FPS at 2560×14402560\times 1440resolution while preserving visual fidelity and motion consistency. We introduce a temporal modeling strategy on the latent sequences to inherit fidelity cues from start and end frames and leverage semantic matching lines for structure-aware motion guidance, improving motion consistency. Furthermore, we propose a temporal difference loss to mitigate temporal inconsistencies. Extensive experiments show FC-VFI achieves high performance and structural integrity across diverse scenarios.

Helios: Real Real-Time Long Video Generation Model

We introduce Helios, the first 14B video generation model that runs at 19.5 FPS on a single NVIDIA H100 GPU and supports minute-scale generation while matching the quality of a strong baseline. We make breakthroughs along three key dimensions: (1) robustness to long-video drifting without commonly used anti-drifting heuristics such as self-forcing, error-banks, or keyframe sampling; (2) real-time generation without standard acceleration techniques such as KV-cache, sparse/linear attention, or quantization; and (3) training without parallelism or sharding frameworks, enabling image-diffusion-scale batch sizes while fitting up to four 14B models within 80 GB of GPU memory. Specifically, Helios is a 14B autoregressive diffusion model with a unified input representation that natively supports T2V, I2V, and V2V tasks. To mitigate drifting in long-video generation, we characterize typical failure modes and propose simple yet effective training strategies that explicitly simulate drifting during training, while eliminating repetitive motion at its source. For efficiency, we heavily compress the historical and noisy context and reduce the number of sampling steps, yielding computational costs comparable to -- or lower than -- those of 1.3B video generative models. Moreover, we introduce infrastructure-level optimizations that accelerate both inference and training while reducing memory consumption. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Helios consistently outperforms prior methods on both short- and long-video generation. We plan to release the code, base model, and distilled model to support further development by the community.

Narrative Weaver: Towards Controllable Long-Range Visual Consistency with Multi-Modal Conditioning

We present "Narrative Weaver", a novel framework that addresses a fundamental challenge in generative AI: achieving multi-modal controllable, long-range, and consistent visual content generation. While existing models excel at generating high-fidelity short-form visual content, they struggle to maintain narrative coherence and visual consistency across extended sequences - a critical limitation for real-world applications such as filmmaking and e-commerce advertising. Narrative Weaver introduces the first holistic solution that seamlessly integrates three essential capabilities: fine-grained control, automatic narrative planning, and long-range coherence. Our architecture combines a Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM) for high-level narrative planning with a novel fine-grained control module featuring a dynamic Memory Bank that prevents visual drift. To enable practical deployment, we develop a progressive, multi-stage training strategy that efficiently leverages existing pre-trained models, achieving state-of-the-art performance even with limited training data. Recognizing the absence of suitable evaluation benchmarks, we construct and release the E-commerce Advertising Video Storyboard Dataset (EAVSD) - the first comprehensive dataset for this task, containing over 330K high-quality images with rich narrative annotations. Through extensive experiments across three distinct scenarios (controllable multi-scene generation, autonomous storytelling, and e-commerce advertising), we demonstrate our method's superiority while opening new possibilities for AI-driven content creation.

InfinityStory: Unlimited Video Generation with World Consistency and Character-Aware Shot Transitions

Generating long-form storytelling videos with consistent visual narratives remains a significant challenge in video synthesis. We present a novel framework, dataset, and a model that address three critical limitations: background consistency across shots, seamless multi-subject shot-to-shot transitions, and scalability to hour-long narratives. Our approach introduces a background-consistent generation pipeline that maintains visual coherence across scenes while preserving character identity and spatial relationships. We further propose a transition-aware video synthesis module that generates smooth shot transitions for complex scenarios involving multiple subjects entering or exiting frames, going beyond the single-subject limitations of prior work. To support this, we contribute with a synthetic dataset of 10,000 multi-subject transition sequences covering underrepresented dynamic scene compositions. On VBench, InfinityStory achieves the highest Background Consistency (88.94), highest Subject Consistency (82.11), and the best overall average rank (2.80), showing improved stability, smoother transitions, and better temporal coherence.

Retrieval, Refinement, and Ranking for Text-to-Video Generation via Prompt Optimization and Test-Time Scaling

While large-scale datasets have driven significant progress in Text-to-Video (T2V) generative models, these models remain highly sensitive to input prompts, demonstrating that prompt design is critical to generation quality. Current methods for improving video output often fall short: they either depend on complex, post-editing models, risking the introduction of artifacts, or require expensive fine-tuning of the core generator, which severely limits both scalability and accessibility. In this work, we introduce 3R, a novel RAG based prompt optimization framework. 3R utilizes the power of current state-of-the-art T2V diffusion model and vision language model. It can be used with any T2V model without any kind of model training. The framework leverages three key strategies: RAG-based modifiers extraction for enriched contextual grounding, diffusion-based Preference Optimization for aligning outputs with human preferences, and temporal frame interpolation for producing temporally consistent visual contents. Together, these components enable more accurate, efficient, and contextually aligned text-to-video generation. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of 3R in enhancing the static fidelity and dynamic coherence of generated videos, underscoring the importance of optimizing user prompts.

DreamWorld: Unified World Modeling in Video Generation

Despite impressive progress in video generation, existing models remain limited to surface-level plausibility, lacking a coherent and unified understanding of the world. Prior approaches typically incorporate only a single form of world-related knowledge or rely on rigid alignment strategies to introduce additional knowledge. However, aligning the single world knowledge is insufficient to constitute a world model that requires jointly modeling multiple heterogeneous dimensions (e.g., physical commonsense, 3D and temporal consistency). To address this limitation, we introduce DreamWorld, a unified framework that integrates complementary world knowledge into video generators via a Joint World Modeling Paradigm, jointly predicting video pixels and features from foundation models to capture temporal dynamics, spatial geometry, and semantic consistency. However, naively optimizing these heterogeneous objectives can lead to visual instability and temporal flickering. To mitigate this issue, we propose Consistent Constraint Annealing (CCA) to progressively regulate world-level constraints during training, and Multi-Source Inner-Guidance to enforce learned world priors at inference. Extensive evaluations show that DreamWorld improves world consistency, outperforming Wan2.1 by 2.26 points on VBench. Code will be made publicly available at \href{https://github.com/ABU121111/DreamWorld}{\textcolor{mypink}{**Github**}}.

CamDirector: Towards Long-Term Coherent Video Trajectory Editing

Video (camera) trajectory editing aims to synthesize new videos that follow user-defined camera paths while preserving scene content and plausibly inpainting previously unseen regions, upgrading amateur footage into professionally styled videos. Existing VTE methods struggle with precise camera control and long-range consistency because they either inject target poses through a limited-capacity embedding or rely on single-frame warping with only implicit cross-frame aggregation in video diffusion models. To address these issues, we introduce a new VTE framework that 1) explicitly aggregates information across the entire source video via a hybrid warping scheme. Specifically, static regions are progressively fused into a world cache then rendered to target camera poses, while dynamic regions are directly warped; their fusion yields globally consistent coarse frames that guide refinement. 2) processes video segments jointly with their history via a history-guided autoregressive diffusion model, while the world cache is incrementally updated to reinforce already inpainted content, enabling long-term temporal coherence. Finally, we present iPhone-PTZ, a new VTE benchmark with diverse camera motions and large trajectory variations, and achieve state-of-the-art performance with fewer parameters.

Mode Seeking meets Mean Seeking for Fast Long Video Generation

Scaling video generation from seconds to minutes faces a critical bottleneck: while short-video data is abundant and high-fidelity, coherent long-form data is scarce and limited to narrow domains. To address this, we propose a training paradigm where Mode Seeking meets Mean Seeking, decoupling local fidelity from long-term coherence based on a unified representation via a Decoupled Diffusion Transformer. Our approach utilizes a global Flow Matching head trained via supervised learning on long videos to capture narrative structure, while simultaneously employing a local Distribution Matching head that aligns sliding windows to a frozen short-video teacher via a mode-seeking reverse-KL divergence. This strategy enables the synthesis of minute-scale videos that learns long-range coherence and motions from limited long videos via supervised flow matching, while inheriting local realism by aligning every sliding-window segment of the student to a frozen short-video teacher, resulting in a few-step fast long video generator. Evaluations show that our method effectively closes the fidelity-horizon gap by jointly improving local sharpness, motion and long-range consistency. Project website: https://primecai.github.io/mmm/.

MSVBench: Towards Human-Level Evaluation of Multi-Shot Video Generation

The evolution of video generation toward complex, multi-shot narratives has exposed a critical deficit in current evaluation methods. Existing benchmarks remain anchored to single-shot paradigms, lacking the comprehensive story assets and cross-shot metrics required to assess long-form coherence and appeal. To bridge this gap, we introduce MSVBench, the first comprehensive benchmark featuring hierarchical scripts and reference images tailored for Multi-Shot Video generation. We propose a hybrid evaluation framework that synergizes the high-level semantic reasoning of Large Multimodal Models (LMMs) with the fine-grained perceptual rigor of domain-specific expert models. Evaluating 20 video generation methods across diverse paradigms, we find that current models--despite strong visual fidelity--primarily behave as visual interpolators rather than true world models. We further validate the reliability of our benchmark by demonstrating a state-of-the-art Spearman's rank correlation of 94.4% with human judgments. Finally, MSVBench extends beyond evaluation by providing a scalable supervisory signal. Fine-tuning a lightweight model on its pipeline-refined reasoning traces yields human-aligned performance comparable to commercial models like Gemini-2.5-Flash.

SwitchCraft: Training-Free Multi-Event Video Generation with Attention Controls

Recent advances in text-to-video diffusion models have enabled high-fidelity and temporally coherent videos synthesis. However, current models are predominantly optimized for single-event generation. When handling multi-event prompts, without explicit temporal grounding, such models often produce blended or collapsed scenes that break the intended narrative. To address this limitation, we present SwitchCraft, a training-free framework for multi-event video generation. Our key insight is that uniform prompt injection across time ignores the correspondence between events and frames. To this end, we introduce Event-Aligned Query Steering (EAQS), which steers frame-level attention to align with relevant event prompts. Furthermore, we propose Auto-Balance Strength Solver (ABSS), which adaptively balances steering strength to preserve temporal consistency and visual fidelity. Extensive experiments demonstrate that SwitchCraft substantially improves prompt alignment, event clarity, and scene consistency compared with existing baselines, offering a simple yet effective solution for multi-event video generation.

ColoDiff: Integrating Dynamic Consistency With Content Awareness for Colonoscopy Video Generation

Colonoscopy video generation delivers dynamic, information-rich data critical for diagnosing intestinal diseases, particularly in data-scarce scenarios. High-quality video generation demands temporal consistency and precise control over clinical attributes, but faces challenges from irregular intestinal structures, diverse disease representations, and various imaging modalities. To this end, we propose ColoDiff, a diffusion-based framework that generates dynamic-consistent and content-aware colonoscopy videos, aiming to alleviate data shortage and assist clinical analysis. At the inter-frame level, our TimeStream module decouples temporal dependency from video sequences through a cross-frame tokenization mechanism, enabling intricate dynamic modeling despite irregular intestinal structures. At the intra-frame level, our Content-Aware module incorporates noise-injected embeddings and learnable prototypes to realize precise control over clinical attributes, breaking through the coarse guidance of diffusion models. Additionally, ColoDiff employs a non-Markovian sampling strategy that cuts steps by over 90% for real-time generation. ColoDiff is evaluated across three public datasets and one hospital database, based on both generation metrics and downstream tasks including disease diagnosis, modality discrimination, bowel preparation scoring, and lesion segmentation. Extensive experiments show ColoDiff generates videos with smooth transitions and rich dynamics. ColoDiff presents an effort in controllable colonoscopy video generation, revealing the potential of synthetic videos in complementing authentic representation and mitigating data scarcity in clinical settings.

Uni-Animator: Towards Unified Visual Colorization

We propose Uni-Animator, a novel Diffusion Transformer (DiT)-based framework for unified image and video sketch colorization. Existing sketch colorization methods struggle to unify image and video tasks, suffering from imprecise color transfer with single or multiple references, inadequate preservation of high-frequency physical details, and compromised temporal coherence with motion artifacts in large-motion scenes. To tackle imprecise color transfer, we introduce visual reference enhancement via instance patch embedding, enabling precise alignment and fusion of reference color information. To resolve insufficient physical detail preservation, we design physical detail reinforcement using physical features that effectively capture and retain high-frequency textures. To mitigate motion-induced temporal inconsistency, we propose sketch-based dynamic RoPE encoding that adaptively models motion-aware spatial-temporal dependencies. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that Uni-Animator achieves competitive performance on both image and video sketch colorization, matching that of task-specific methods while unlocking unified cross-domain capabilities with high detail fidelity and robust temporal consistency.

UCM: Unified Modeling of Camera Control and Memory with Time-aware Positional Encoding Warping for World Models

World models based on video generation demonstrate remarkable potential for simulating interactive environments yet suffer from persistent difficulties in two key areas: maintaining long-term content consistency when scenes are revisited and enabling precise camera control from user-specified inputs. Existing methods based on explicit 3D reconstruction often compromise flexibility in unbounded scenarios and struggle to preserve fine-grained structures. Alternative methods rely directly on previously generated frames without establishing explicit spatial correspondence, thereby limiting controllability and consistency. To address these limitations, we present UCM, a novel framework for unified modeling of long-term memory and precise camera control via a time-aware positional encoding warping mechanism. To reduce computational overhead, we design an efficient dual-stream diffusion transformer for high-fidelity generation. Moreover, we introduce a scalable data curation strategy that utilizes point-cloud-based rendering to simulate scene revisiting, enabling training on over 500K monocular videos. Extensive experiments on real-world and synthetic benchmarks demonstrate that UCM significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods on long-term scene consistency, while achieving precise camera controllability in high-fidelity video generation.

Geometry-as-context: Modulating Explicit 3D in Scene-consistent Video Generation to Geometry Context

Scene-consistent video generation aims to create videos that explore 3D scenes based on a camera trajectory. Previous methods rely on video generation models with external memory for consistency, or iterative 3D reconstruction and inpainting, which accumulate errors during inference due to incorrect intermediary outputs, non-differentiable processes, and separate models. To overcome these limitations, we introduce ``geometry-as-context". It iteratively completes the following steps using an autoregressive camera-controlled video generation model: (1) estimates the geometry of the current view necessary for 3D reconstruction, and (2) simulates and restores novel view images rendered by the 3D scene. Under this multi-task framework, we develop the camera gated attention module to enhance the model's capability to effectively leverage camera poses. During the training phase, text contexts are utilized to ascertain whether geometric or RGB images should be generated. To ensure that the model can generate RGB-only outputs during inference, the geometry context is randomly dropped from the interleaved text-image-geometry training sequence. The method has been tested on scene video generation with one-direction and forth-and-back trajectories. The results show its superiority over previous approaches in maintaining scene consistency and camera control.

SemVideo: Reconstructs What You Watch from Brain Activity via Hierarchical Semantic Guidance

Reconstructing dynamic visual experiences from brain activity provides a compelling avenue for exploring the neural mechanisms of human visual perception. While recent progress in fMRI-based image reconstruction has been notable, extending this success to video reconstruction remains a significant challenge. Current fMRI-to-video reconstruction approaches consistently encounter two major shortcomings: (i) inconsistent visual representations of salient objects across frames, leading to appearance mismatches; (ii) poor temporal coherence, resulting in motion misalignment or abrupt frame transitions. To address these limitations, we introduce SemVideo, a novel fMRI-to-video reconstruction framework guided by hierarchical semantic information. At the core of SemVideo is SemMiner, a hierarchical guidance module that constructs three levels of semantic cues from the original video stimulus: static anchor descriptions, motion-oriented narratives, and holistic summaries. Leveraging this semantic guidance, SemVideo comprises three key components: a Semantic Alignment Decoder that aligns fMRI signals with CLIP-style embeddings derived from SemMiner, a Motion Adaptation Decoder that reconstructs dynamic motion patterns using a novel tripartite attention fusion architecture, and a Conditional Video Render that leverages hierarchical semantic guidance for video reconstruction. Experiments conducted on the CC2017 and HCP datasets demonstrate that SemVideo achieves superior performance in both semantic alignment and temporal consistency, setting a new state-of-the-art in fMRI-to-video reconstruction.

StoryTailor:A Zero-Shot Pipeline for Action-Rich Multi-Subject Visual Narratives

Generating multi-frame, action-rich visual narratives without fine-tuning faces a threefold tension: action text faithfulness, subject identity fidelity, and cross-frame background continuity. We propose StoryTailor, a zero-shot pipeline that runs on a single RTX 4090 (24 GB) and produces temporally coherent, identity-preserving image sequences from a long narrative prompt, per-subject references, and grounding boxes. Three synergistic modules drive the system: Gaussian-Centered Attention (GCA) to dynamically focus on each subject core and ease grounding-box overlaps; Action-Boost Singular Value Reweighting (AB-SVR) to amplify action-related directions in the text embedding space; and Selective Forgetting Cache (SFC) that retains transferable background cues, forgets nonessential history, and selectively surfaces retained cues to build cross-scene semantic ties. Compared with baseline methods, experiments show that CLIP-T improves by up to 10-15%, with DreamSim lower than strong baselines, while CLIP-I stays in a visually acceptable, competitive range. With matched resolution and steps on a 24 GB GPU, inference is faster than FluxKontext. Qualitatively, StoryTailor delivers expressive interactions and evolving yet stable scenes.

AnimeAgent: Is the Multi-Agent via Image-to-Video models a Good Disney Storytelling Artist?

Custom Storyboard Generation (CSG) aims to produce high-quality, multi-character consistent storytelling. Current approaches based on static diffusion models, whether used in a one-shot manner or within multi-agent frameworks, face three key limitations: (1) Static models lack dynamic expressiveness and often resort to "copy-paste" pattern. (2) One-shot inference cannot iteratively correct missing attributes or poor prompt adherence. (3) Multi-agents rely on non-robust evaluators, ill-suited for assessing stylized, non-realistic animation. To address these, we propose AnimeAgent, the first Image-to-Video (I2V)-based multi-agent framework for CSG. Inspired by Disney's "Combination of Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose" workflow, AnimeAgent leverages I2V's implicit motion prior to enhance consistency and expressiveness, while a mixed subjective-objective reviewer enables reliable iterative refinement. We also collect a human-annotated CSG benchmark with ground-truth. Experiments show AnimeAgent achieves SOTA performance in consistency, prompt fidelity, and stylization.

PropFly: Learning to Propagate via On-the-Fly Supervision from Pre-trained Video Diffusion Models

Propagation-based video editing enables precise user control by propagating a single edited frame into following frames while maintaining the original context such as motion and structures. However, training such models requires large-scale, paired (source and edited) video datasets, which are costly and complex to acquire. Hence, we propose the PropFly, a training pipeline for Propagation-based video editing, relying on on-the-Fly supervision from pre-trained video diffusion models (VDMs) instead of requiring off-the-shelf or precomputed paired video editing datasets. Specifically, our PropFly leverages one-step clean latent estimations from intermediate noised latents with varying Classifier-Free Guidance (CFG) scales to synthesize diverse pairs of 'source' (low-CFG) and 'edited' (high-CFG) latents on-the-fly. The source latent serves as structural information of the video, while the edited latent provides the target transformation for learning propagation. Our pipeline enables an additional adapter attached to the pre-trained VDM to learn to propagate edits via Guidance-Modulated Flow Matching (GMFM) loss, which guides the model to replicate the target transformation. Our on-the-fly supervision ensures the model to learn temporally consistent and dynamic transformations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our PropFly significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art methods on various video editing tasks, producing high-quality editing results.

3DSPA: A 3D Semantic Point Autoencoder for Evaluating Video Realism

AI video generation is evolving rapidly. For video generators to be useful for applications ranging from robotics to film-making, they must consistently produce realistic videos. However, evaluating the realism of generated videos remains a largely manual process -- requiring human annotation or bespoke evaluation datasets which have restricted scope. Here we develop an automated evaluation framework for video realism which captures both semantics and coherent 3D structure and which does not require access to a reference video. Our method, 3DSPA, is a 3D spatiotemporal point autoencoder which integrates 3D point trajectories, depth cues, and DINO semantic features into a unified representation for video evaluation. 3DSPA models how objects move and what is happening in the scene, enabling robust assessments of realism, temporal consistency, and physical plausibility. Experiments show that 3DSPA reliably identifies videos which violate physical laws, is more sensitive to motion artifacts, and aligns more closely with human judgments of video quality and realism across multiple datasets. Our results demonstrate that enriching trajectory-based representations with 3D semantics offers a stronger foundation for benchmarking generative video models, and implicitly captures physical rule violations. The code and pretrained model weights will be available at https://github.com/TheProParadox/3dspa_code.
