Owner3D: Ownership-Guided Style Writing for Training-Free Localized 3D Stylization

Localized 3D stylization aims to modify the appearance of a specified object part while preserving the remaining surfaces. In large reconstruction models (LRMs), this task is challenging because style is injected into intermediate appearance representations before rendering, while compact triplane features are shared across target and non-target surfaces, causing style leakage and boundary ambiguity. We propose Owner3D, a training-free framework for localized 3D stylization that integrates localized appearance control directly into the LRM reconstruction process. Specifically, Owner3D introduces ownership-guided style writing to restrict reference-style injection to target regions, producing a single localized stylized triplane without additional training while avoiding separate global style and appearance representations. To resolve appearance ambiguity near semantic boundaries, we further introduce boundary dual slots that maintain separate local feature sources for target and non-target regions. Finally, a surface-first texture readout hierarchically combines surface, 3D, and triplane ownership evidence to robustly recover appearance under incomplete visibility. Experiments on a benchmark constructed from Google Scanned Objects and PartNet demonstrate that Owner3D consistently outperforms existing 3D stylization methods in target-region style fidelity and non-target appearance preservation, reducing appearance leakage by 86.4% and 89.9% compared with StyleSplat and LAENeRF, respectively.

A Geometry-Aware Triplane Field Network for Vehicle Aerodynamic Prediction

High-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is crucial to vehicle aerodynamic analysis, but its cost still constrains early-stage design exploration. Machine-learning-based surface-field prediction offers a faster alternative if the model can efficiently capture both global flow context and local geometric detail. This work proposes a machine-learning-based method, named the geometry-aware triplane field network (GTF-Net), for vehicle aerodynamic pressure and wall shear stress prediction. GTF-Net constructs triplane features directly from sampled surface points through a shared multilayer perceptron (MLP) and smooth bilinear rasterization. The planes are then processed by a dual-stream backbone that combines adaptive Fourier neural operator (AFNO) spectral mixing with convolutional neural network (CNN) refinement, so long-range aerodynamic coupling and local geometry-induced variations are modeled in the same representation. At query stage, sampled triplane features are combined with vehicle-aligned directional coordinates, normal-projection features, and a voxel-based curvature proxy. GTF-Net is compared with Transolver, geometry-informed neural operator (GINO), and TripNet, a triplane-based surrogate model. GTF-Net improves the relative L2 error from the strongest baseline value of 0.157 to 0.145 for pressure prediction and from 0.237 to 0.226 for wall shear stress prediction. Ablation results show that AFNO mixing, local CNN refinement, and query-side geometric encoding each contribute to accuracy, supporting the proposed mechanism of combining structured triplane representation with explicit aerodynamic geometry cues.

HumanNOVA: Photorealistic, Universal and Rapid 3D Human Avatar Modeling from a Single Image

In this paper, we present HumanNOVA, a photorealistic, universal, and rapid model for generating 3D human avatars from a single RGB image. Achieving both photorealism and generalization is challenging due to the scarcity of diverse, high-quality 3D human data. To address this, we build a scalable data generation pipeline that follows two strategies. The first one is to leverage existing rigged assets and animate them with extensive poses from daily life. The second strategy is to utilize existing multi-camera captures of humans and employ fitting to generate more diverse views for training. These two strategies enable us to scale up to 100k assets, significantly enhancing both the quantity and the diversity of data for robust model training. In terms of the architecture, HumanNOVA adopts a feed-forward, token-conditioned avatar modeling framework that allows fast inference in less than one second and requires no test-time optimization. Given an input image and an estimated simplified human mesh (SMPL) without detailed geometry or appearance, the model first encodes both inputs into compact token representations. These tokens then act as conditioning signals and are fused through cross-attention to construct a triplane-based 3D avatar representation. Extensive experiments on multiple benchmarks demonstrate the superiority of our approach, both quantitatively and qualitatively, as well as its robustness under diverse input image conditions. CATRF: Codec-Adaptive TriPlane Radiance Fields for Volumetric Content Delivery

Volumetric media promises next-generation content delivery applications, but its bandwidth demand remains a key bottleneck. Implicit and hybrid volumetric representations reduce model sizes, yet still require careful coding to reach 2D video-like bitrates. We present CATRF, a standard-codec-in-the-loop compression framework for plane-factorized radiance fields. During training, we quantize and pack 2D feature planes into codec-friendly canvases, run a standard codec roundtrip (JPEG/VP9/HEVC/AV1), then unpack and dequantize the decoded features before volume rendering. We use a straight-through estimator (STE) to insert the non-differentiable, standard codec pipeline into the training loop, allowing radiance-field features to adapt directly to the real, client-side codec distortions without introducing any learned codec parameters. On both static and dynamic benchmarks, CATRF consistently achieves a better rate-distortion trade-off over codec-agnostic and learned-codec-in-the-loop baselines, and also outperforms recent compressed 3DGS methods in both compression efficiency and decoding speed. These results highlight a practical path toward low-bitrate, compression-resilient volumetric representations for free-viewpoint video streaming.

GaussianSSC: Triplane-Guided Directional Gaussian Fields for 3D Semantic Completion

We present GaussianSSC, a two-stage, grid-native and triplane-guided approach to semantic scene completion (SSC) that injects the benefits of Gaussians without replacing the voxel grid or maintaining a separate Gaussian set. We introduce Gaussian Anchoring, a sub-pixel, Gaussian-weighted image aggregation over fused FPN features that tightens voxel--image alignment and improves monocular occupancy estimation. We further convert point-like voxel features into a learned per-voxel Gaussian field and refine triplane features via a triplane-aligned Gaussian--Triplane Refinement module that combines local gathering (target-centric) and global aggregation (source-centric). This directional, anisotropic support captures surface tangency, scale, and occlusion-aware asymmetry while preserving the efficiency of triplane representations. On SemanticKITTI~\cite{behley2019semantickitti}, GaussianSSC improves Stage1 occupancy by +1.0% Recall, +2.0% Precision, and +1.8% IoU over state-of-the-art baselines, and improves Stage2 semantic prediction by +1.8% IoU and +0.8% mIoU.

CylinderSplat: 3D Gaussian Splatting with Cylindrical Triplanes for Panoramic Novel View Synthesis

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has shown great promise for real-time novel view synthesis, but its application to panoramic imagery remains challenging. Existing methods often rely on multi-view cost volumes for geometric refinement, which struggle to resolve occlusions in sparse-view scenarios. Furthermore, standard volumetric representations like Cartesian Triplanes are poor in capturing the inherent geometry of 360∘360^\circ scenes, leading to distortion and aliasing. In this work, we introduce CylinderSplat, a feed-forward framework for panoramic 3DGS that addresses these limitations. The core of our method is a new {cylindrical Triplane} representation, which is better aligned with panoramic data and real-world structures adhering to the Manhattan-world assumption. We use a dual-branch architecture: a pixel-based branch reconstructs well-observed regions, while a volume-based branch leverages the cylindrical Triplane to complete occluded or sparsely-viewed areas. Our framework is designed to flexibly handle a variable number of input views, from single to multiple panoramas. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CylinderSplat achieves state-of-the-art results in both single-view and multi-view panoramic novel view synthesis, outperforming previous methods in both reconstruction quality and geometric accuracy.

Equivariant Volumetric Grasping

We propose a new volumetric grasp model that is equivariant to rotations around the vertical axis, leading to a significant improvement in sampling efficiency. Our model employs a tri-plane volumetric feature representation -- i.e., the projection of 3D features onto three canonical planes. We introduce a novel tri-plane feature design in which features on the horizontal plane are equivariant to 90∘90^\circ rotations, while the sum of features from the other two planes remains invariant to reflections induced by the same transformations. We further develop equivariant adaptations of two state-of-the-art volumetric grasp planners, GIGA and IGD. Specifically, we derive a new equivariant formulation of IGD's deformable attention mechanism and propose an equivariant generative model of grasp orientations based on flow matching. We provide a detailed analytical justification of the proposed equivariance properties and validate our approach through extensive simulated and real-world experiments. Our results demonstrate that the proposed projection-based design reduces both computational and memory costs. Moreover, the equivariant grasp models built on top of our tri-plane features consistently outperform their non-equivariant counterparts, achieving higher performance within a real-time cost constraint. NumGrad-Pull: Numerical Gradient Guided Tri-plane Representation for Surface Reconstruction from Point Clouds

Reconstructing continuous surfaces from unoriented and unordered 3D points is a fundamental challenge in computer vision and graphics. Recent advancements address this problem by training neural signed distance functions to pull 3D location queries to their closest points on a surface, following the predicted signed distances and the analytical gradients computed by the network. In this paper, we introduce NumGrad-Pull, leveraging the representation capability of tri-plane structures to accelerate the learning of signed distance functions and enhance the fidelity of local details in surface reconstruction. To further improve the training stability of grid-based tri-planes, we propose to exploit numerical gradients, replacing conventional analytical computations. Additionally, we present a progressive plane expansion strategy to facilitate faster signed distance function convergence and design a data sampling strategy to mitigate reconstruction artifacts. These components are synergistically integrated into a unified tri-plane-based pulling framework, in which numerical gradients, progressive expansion, and complementary sampling jointly address the locality and sparsity challenges of learning SDFs from unoriented point clouds. Our extensive experiments across a variety of benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of our approach. Codes are available at: https://github.com/cuiruikai/numgrad-pull.
