JewelTry: Mask-Free Scale Aware Jewelry Virtual Try-On

Virtual try-on (VTON) enables customers to visualize how fashion products appear when worn and has become an important technology for online shopping. While recent advances have substantially improved garment VTON, jewelry remains a challenging and underexplored category due to its small size, rigid structure, and sensitivity to fine-grained visual details. Realistic jewelry VTON requires not only faithful appearance transfer but also accurate scale and placement relative to the wearer. Existing jewelry VTON methods typically rely on mask guidance, whereas mask-free approaches lack explicit guidance for modeling the product scale. To bridge this gap, we introduce JVTO-Bench, a benchmark dataset for scale-faithful jewelry VTON, providing reference source target triplets with real-world product-scale annotations across four major jewelry categories. Building upon this benchmark, we propose JewelTry, a mask-free diffusion framework for scale-aware jewelry VTON. JewelTry incorporates a scale adapter that encodes product dimensions into a scale token, enabling the model to learn scale relationships between jewelry items and surrounding human anatomy in-context. To further improve jewelry consistency, we introduce a single-directional condition attention mechanism and an attention refinement loss that preserve both coarse geometry and fine-grained structural details of the reference jewelry. Extensive experiments show that JewelTry achieves a balance among visual fidelity, background preservation, object consistency and scale accuracy, establishing a strong baseline for mask-free, scale-aware jewelry virtual try-on.

BooM-VVT: Boosting Mask-Free Video Virtual Try-On with Image-Level Pseudo Data

Video virtual try-on (VVT) aims to generate realistic videos of a person wearing a target garment. Recent methods leverage a keyframe-driven video generation paradigm to improve in-the-wild performance, yet they still rely on masks to localize try-on regions, making them vulnerable to large motions and severe occlusions. Although mask-free image-based try-on methods have shown promising results by leveraging large-scale pseudo data, extending this paradigm to videos remains difficult, as constructing video-level pseudo data is prohibitively expensive. Furthermore, coarse keyframe sampling and the scarcity of multi-view try-on data limit existing keyframe-driven methods in maintaining garment consistency and handling diverse try-on tasks. To address these challenges, we propose BooM-VVT, a mask-free VVT framework built upon the keyframe-driven paradigm. To achieve mask-free VVT, we introduce a multi-stage training strategy that leverages image-level pseudo data for mask-free localization learning, substantially reducing the need for costly video-level pseudo data. To improve garment consistency, we propose Garment-Sensitive Keyframe Sampling, which selects keyframes based on garment-relevant body regions to better capture garment appearance. We further introduce Frame-Shared 3D-RoPE to establish spatiotemporal correspondences between keyframes and target video frames for accurate garment-detail transfer. Finally, we construct OmniView, a large-scale multi-view try-on dataset to support reliable try-on video generation under complex camera viewpoints and diverse try-on tasks. Extensive experiments demonstrate that BooM-VVT achieves superior temporal consistency and garment fidelity over existing methods. Project page: https://boomvvt.github.io/boomvvt.

FlowVVTON: Flow-Guided Mask-Free Video Virtual Try-On

Video virtual try-on aims to transfer a target garment onto a moving person across video frames. Current methods rely on human parsing masks or pose keypoints that frequently fail under large motions and occlusions, causing boundary artifacts and temporal inconsistency. A further limitation is that most approaches rely solely on attention mechanisms for temporal modeling, providing no explicit motion supervision. We propose FlowVVTON, a mask-free framework that eliminates parsing mask dependency entirely. Optical flow is used solely as a training-time supervision signal: a flow-warped latent loss, applied across all layers of the generation model, enforces multi-scale temporal consistency by aligning adjacent-frame features under explicit physical motion constraints. A two-stage training strategy establishes mask-free spatial alignment before introducing flow-guided temporal supervision. Experiments on TikTokDress show that FlowVVTON outperforms baselines by substantial margins, particularly in temporal consistency (5.7×\times VFID-R improvement over SwiftTry), while requiring no segmentation masks, pose keypoints, or region annotations at any stage.

Beyond Global Realism: Virtual Try-On Evaluation and Optimization with Dimension-wise Garment Fidelity Assessment

Virtual try-on (VTON) requires not only realistic generation but also faithful preservation of garment characteristics. However, existing evaluation metrics such as PSNR, SSIM, KID and FID struggle to measure the consistency between the generated and reference garments, particularly in capturing the multi-dimensional characteristics of garment fidelity. To address this, we propose DAT: a Dimension-wise Assessment framework for virtual Try-on, which decomposes garment consistency into seven interpretable dimensions: silhouette, color, neckline and sleeve shape, major decoration and structure, material texture, fine-detail fidelity, and logo preservation, each formulated as a discrete attribute-level prediction task. To train this specialized assessment model, we adopt a two-stage learning paradigm comprising large-scale weak supervision on 50K samples, followed by refinement on 10K higher-quality annotations obtained via multi-model voting. Furthermore, we employ weighted cross-entropy loss to mitigate the severe label imbalance inherent across evaluation dimensions. Beyond its role as an evaluation framework, the assessment model can be integrated into reinforcement learning optimization of Qwen-Image-Edit for VTON, where dimension-wise rewards are adaptively aggregated to emphasize under-optimized aspects during training. Experimental results show that our method (8B parameters) achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of balanced accuracy, SROCC, and PLCC, outperforming strong proprietary models such as Gemini-3.1, Qwen3.7-plus, and GPT-5.5, while also serving as an effective optimization signal for reward-guided VTON generation

VTO: Visual Tool Orchestration for Video Anomaly Detection

Video anomaly detection (VAD) is a critical yet challenging task due to the complex and diverse nature of real-world scenarios. Traditional deep learning approaches are fundamentally limited by poor generalization across diverse scenarios. While multimodal agents offer a promising tool-learning paradigm for VAD, current systems relying on supervised fine-tuning struggle with complex orchestration, and standard reinforcement learning often causes premature termination due to coarse-grained outcome rewards. To address these challenges, we propose VTO, a process-supervised reinforcement learning framework. Moving beyond static tool usage, VTO enables the agent to dynamically explore and interact with the environment. Specifically, we introduce a foundation model-driven cognitive evaluator to provide context-aware semantic feedback, which is seamlessly integrated into a Process-Supervised Cognitive Alignment that delivers fine-grained, step-wise supervision. By explicitly penalizing logical truncation and rewarding complete causal chains, the agent optimizes its multi-step reasoning policy for interrelated tool orchestration. To support our proposed framework, we meticulously crafted VAD-Tool, a hierarchical visual tool set comprising 12 specialized vision tools spanning from entity tracking to high-stakes hazard detection, and established the corresponding benchmark for rigorous multi-step reasoning evaluation. Extensive experiments on VAD-Tool demonstrate that VTO significantly outperforms baselines, achieving up to a 10.2% absolute accuracy improvement in tool scheduling. Controllable Clothing: Precise Labels and Generation for Virtual Try-On with Latent Diffusion Models

In this technical report, I present a new method for guiding image generation in the context of Virtual- Try-On (VITON). The proposed method leverages new open source Ai models to augment the image data with labels, such as lengths and styles. By training adapters with these labels paired with images of the garments, the model can produce a more diverse set of images that the user can control. For the end user, such as a retailer, this means that they can assure that the produced image is as true to the true fit as possible, not misleading consumers

UniVVT: A Unified End-to-End Framework for High-Fidelity Video Virtual Try-on

Video Virtual Try-On (VVT) synthesizes a video of a person wearing a target garment while preserving identity, motion, and scene dynamics. Dominant approaches cast VVT as mask-conditioned video inpainting and rely on separate modules for human parsing, pose estimation, and garment warping. This multi-stage design complicates deployment and, more critically, allows errors in explicit geometric priors to propagate irreversibly into the generated video. We present UniVVT, a unified end-to-end framework that reframes VVT as semantically conditioned video generation, eliminating mask, pose, and warping modules at inference. At its core, a scene-task perceiver built on a Multimodal Large Language Model jointly encodes the source video, target garment, and task instruction into compact, task-aware latent tokens, implicitly capturing what to transfer and where and how to transfer it. A lightweight semantic bridge then aligns these tokens with the conditioning space of a diffusion-based video generator, enabling coherent garment transfer. To robustly couple the heterogeneous components, we devise a three-stage progressive training strategy comprising semantic alignment, joint task adaptation, and flexible-resolution refinement. Extensive experiments demonstrate that UniVVT achieves state-of-the-art performance across multiple benchmarks, validating implicit semantic guidance as a simple and effective alternative to fragile geometric preprocessing for end-to-end virtual try-on.

Layering Virtual Try-On

In the real world, fashion is about layering: adding a jacket over a shirt, or a sequence of adding and removing layers, rather than just a single-layer swap. This fundamental real-world task remains a challenge in existing Virtual Try-On (VTON) methods, which excel at single-layer replacement but are not designed to layer or de-layer an existing outfit. This paper proposes Layering Virtual Try-On (LVTON), a layering benchmark and method that preserves an existing outfit while enabling sequential layering. We find that current VTON paradigms are fundamentally ill-equipped for LVTON, as their reliance on cloth-agnostic representations and single-item datasets discards essential layering context. Our key insight is that the LVTON challenge must be disentangled into two distinct competencies: (1) General VTON Priors (e.g., deformation, identity preservation) and (2) Specific Layering Knowledge (e.g., layering order and occlusion reasoning). First, our model obtains general VTON priors by being trained on data produced by an automatic data generation pipeline that synthesizes samples from fashion videos via segmentation and inpainting. Second, the model is fine-tuned on a small, dedicated LVTON dataset to learn the layering logic. Our method achieves state-of-the-art results on our LVTON benchmark and demonstrates superior generalizability on traditional VTON benchmarks, setting new state-of-the-art results when fine-tuned and exhibiting zero-shot capabilities.

Oxygen-TryOn: Fashion-Native Foundation Model for Any-item Virtual Try-On

We present Oxygen-TryOn, a unified foundation model for any-item virtual try-on. Rather than repurposing a general-purpose image editor, Oxygen-TryOn is fashion-native, built for try-on through a dedicated data engine and try-on-specific training. Given one or more reference items (clean product shots or in-the-wild worn-on photos) and a single target subject image, it synthesizes a photorealistic image of the subject wearing the items across virtually any fashion category. Prior systems handle a single garment category in a studio setting, and recent multi-reference methods remain garment-centric; in contrast, Oxygen-TryOn supports diverse items and scenarios, including full- and half-body views, a variable number of references, and free multi-item composition, while faithfully preserving both subject identity and item appearance. Instead of mask-based inpainting, we reformulate try-on as a multi-reference, understanding-driven generation task. We build a data engine that collects, manufactures, annotates, and filters high-quality try-on data at scale, and design a three-stage recipe of continued pre-training (CPT), supervised fine-tuning (SFT), and reinforcement learning (RL). The RL stage uses a hybrid reward combining an in-house try-on reward model with a proprietary, rubric-guided general-purpose model, jointly supervising fine-grained consistency and instruction-level quality. It also follows general editing instructions (e.g., pose changes) in the same pass. Across public benchmarks and our in-house Oxygen-TryOn Bench, it achieves state-of-the-art consistency and realism on single-item try-on and leads on multi-item try-on, matching or surpassing both leading proprietary systems (Nano Banana Pro, GPT-Image-2, Seedream5 Lite) and open-source models (FLUX.2).

WearWow: Native 2K Multi-Garment Virtual Try-On via Adaptive Token Packing and Preference Alignment

Synthesizing native 2K multi-garment virtual try-on is a formidable frontier in digital fashion, critically bottlenecked by two fundamental limitations: the O(N^2) memory explosion induced by 2k conditions, and the spectral bias of diffusion models that over-smooths high-frequency fabric details. We present WearWow, an end-to-end, mask-free generative framework that pioneers ultra-high-resolution multi-garment synthesis. To mitigate the memory explosion , we propose Adaptive 2D Token Packing (ATP). ATP leverages inherent garment sparsity to algorithmically pack heterogeneous items onto a unified 2D canvas and prune uninformative background tokens, minimizing the effective sequence length and subsequent memory overhead while rigorously preserving 2D spatial priors. To rectify texture degradation, we introduce the Multi-dimensional Try-on Reward (MTR) system. MTR synergizes a Semantic Guidance Reward to explicitly drive tactile restoration with a Cloth Distribution Reward to implicitly anchor the physical distribution, a joint formulation that effectively mitigates the severe reward hacking. Furthermore, we curate WearWow-2K, an extreme-quality dataset comprising native 2K triplets, providing physically correct spatial interactions that naturally empower the model's mask-free generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that WearWow establishes a new state-of-the-art, exceeding existing commercial baselines in native 2K multi-garment synthesis.

TAMF-VTON: Texture-Aware Mask-Free Virtual Try-On via High-Fidelity Image Synthesis

Recent diffusion-based virtual try-on (VTON) methods remain limited by their reliance on segmentation masks, insufficient preservation of fine-grained textures, and limited support for arbitrary multi-garment compositions. Consequently, existing approaches still face significant challenges in real-world e-commerce deployment. We present TAMF-VTON, a texture-aware, mask-free framework that enables high-fidelity image synthesis under practical unconstrained conditions. Our method requires no human parsing or inpainting masks at inference time and supports diverse garment styles, categories, and quantities, enabling the simultaneous transfer of multiple items while preserving body structure and intricate texture details. This is achieved through a unified generative pipeline with three key components: (1) a lightweight Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) adaptation scheme that enables efficient fine-tuning without compromising the base model's general editing capabilities; (2) a frequency-domain supervision mechanism that explicitly optimizes high-frequency spectral consistency to preserve high-fidelity textures; and (3) a robust data curation pipeline employing an adaptive inpainting strategy to simulate the inverse VTON process for high-quality training pair generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both quantitative metrics and perceptual quality. Optimized for efficiency, the model achieves inference in under 15 seconds per image on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 with INT4 quantization. By combining mask-free operation, flexible multi-garment composition, faithful texture preservation, and efficient inference on consumer hardware, TAMF-VTON demonstrates a commercially viable solution for scalable deployment in real-world digital fashion scenarios. Structure-Detail Decoupled Autoregressive Generation for Fast and High-Fidelity Virtual Try-On

Virtual try-on (VTON) is a bi-conditional image generation problem that requires not only accurate person preservation but also faithful garment deformation and detail synthesis. Diffusion-based VTON methods can jointly model these factors in a compressed latent space, but suffer from high-frequency detail loss due to inherent latent compression, even with costly multi-step denoising. Recent visual autoregressive (VAR) models offer a promising alternative for high-quality generation with faster inference, yet remain unexplored for VTON due to the lack of effective bi-conditioning mechanisms. To bridge this gap, we first introduce VAR-VTON, a VAR-based VTON model that incorporates garment conditioning and structural guidance for efficient latent-space VTON. Despite its efficacy, latent-space generation still struggles to preserve fine-grained garment details. We argue that different VTON sub-tasks should be addressed in different representation spaces: structural synthesis such as garment warping and person layout is suited to the latent space, whereas fine-grained detail recovery should be tackled in the pixel space. Motivated by this insight, we further propose STAR-VTON, a Two-Stage AutoRegressive framework that builds upon VAR-VTON by decoupling latent-space structural synthesis from pixel-space detail recovery. Our idea is to resort to a matching-informed refiner to establish dense correspondences between the stage-one generation and the source garment to directly map fine-grained pixel-space details. Extensive experiments show that STAR-VTON achieves an impressive efficiency-fidelity trade-off: VAR-VTON runs at least 4×4\times faster than diffusion-based counterparts without degrading quality, and the pixel-space refiner effectively restores fine details and acts as a plug-and-play module that can benefit existing VTON approaches.

CtrlVTON: Controllable Virtual Try-On via Visual-Instance-Prompt Segmentation

Virtual try-on (VTO) has made significant progress in realistically transferring garments onto a target person. Yet most systems give the user little control over how a garment should be worn -- its size (loose or fitted), style (e.g., tucked in or untucked, open or closed), and spatial placement on the body. We address this gap with two complementary contributions. First, we define and solve Visual-Instance-Prompt Segmentation via VIP-SAM: given a flatlay image of a garment, segment that specific instance in a photograph of a person wearing it. This is an instance-level task, distinct from the typically studied category-level segmentation. Second, we introduce CtrlVTON, a controllable VTO framework that recasts try-on as an image editing problem and adds segmentation masks as pixel-level control over garment layout, including style, size, and spatial placement on the body. VIP-SAM and CtrlVTON each achieve state-of-the-art results on their respective tasks. In particular, CtrlVTON generates images that follow user-provided layouts far more faithfully than the strongest proprietary editing systems while matching them on garment fidelity.

FDM-MFVT: Few-step Sampling Diffusion Model for Mask-Free Virtual Try-On

Image-based Virtual Try-On (IVTON) has greatly advanced through diffusion models, yet existing methods require many sampling steps and depend on masks with costly auxiliary networks. In addition, the absence of large-scale mask-free paired datasets further limits the development of mask-free IVTON. We propose FDM-MFVT, a few-step diffusion model for mask-free IVTON, integrating an Outfit-aware Noise Optimization Module (OANO) and an Instruction-driven Try-on Module (IDT) to enhance efficiency and flexibility. The OANO module initializes the alignment space with noise using the input image and only needs 6 steps to generate a higher-fidelity try-on image compared to 30 steps. The IDT module uses virtual try-on prompts and efficient adaptation to generate high-quality results from garment and person images alone. We further introduce MFVT, a 30,000-pair mask-free IVTON dataset. Experiments show that FDM-MFVT achieves superior quantitative and qualitative results with fewer inference steps than mask-based and mask-free baseline methods.

Virtual Ring Try-On

This paper presents an innovative approach that enables the users to capture their hand and try the jewel ring on their hand. The user captures the image of the hand using the React Native base GUI of the mobile application and selects the ring that the user wants to try, and the output image will have the user's hand with the ring image. This approach is implemented using a combination of MediaPipe hand point detection and YOLO-V8 custom object detection. The hand image uploaded by the user first undergoes mediapipe hand point detection. It will give the hand points and a Region of Interest mask where the ring is going to be placed. Then the ring is passed through YOLO object detection, in which ring points are detected, and background is removed. After that, using vector algebra, the angular discrepancy between the finger's reference axis and the ring's principal axis is computed. Also, ring size is rescaled according to finger thickness, preserving the aspect ratio to maintain perceptual realism. Then the ring is placed on the hand image and the output image is generated and shown on the user screen.

ModaFlow: Modality-Aware Flow Matching for High-Fidelity Virtual Try-On

Image-based virtual try-on has emerged as a compelling task in e-commerce and augmented reality, yet existing methods struggle to simultaneously preserve fine garment semantics and adapt to diverse person body geometries under large clothing-body deformations. We present ModaFlow, a modality-aware flow-matching based framework for high-fidelity virtual try-on that achieves precise alignment between textual descriptions and garment appearance. Unlike prior methods that treat multimodal conditions uniformly, ModaFlow introduces a modality-aware guidance scheme: visual garment embeddings extracted by a pretrained image prompt adapter provide deterministic, persistent structural guidance, while textual embeddings generated from garment descriptions are controlled via classifier-free guidance (CFG) with adaptive scaling and zero-initialized velocity. To further enhance flow field accuracy, we propose two regularization losses, cosine similarity and perceptual flow discrimination, that jointly improve directional consistency and perceptual realism of the velocity field. Additionally, a mask manipulation strategy stochastically samples among box, transparent, and relaxed masks during training, simulating diverse occlusion scenarios and enabling robust inference under unpaired settings where only a box mask is available. Experiments show that ModaFlow achieves state-of-the-art results in both qualitative and quantitative evaluations, reducing FID by approximately 30% on paired and 20% on unpaired benchmarks.

TryOnCrafter: Unleashing Camera Trajectories for Realistic Video Virtual Try-on via a Renderable 4D Try-on Proxy

While Video Virtual Try-on (VVT) has achieved remarkable progress in synthesizing realistic garment overlays on dynamic subjects, existing paradigms remains fundamentally constrained by a passive dependency on source camera trajectories, failing to accommodate the requisite interactive freedom for omnidirectional viewpoint exploration. To address this limitation, we define a pioneering research frontier: Camera-controllable Video Virtual Try-on (CaM-VVT). Unlike conventional VVT, CaM-VVT not only necessitates viewpoint-agnostic texture hallucination but also strict structural synchronization between non-rigid human dynamics and background contexts under arbitrary, unconstrained camera movements. To tackle these challenges, we present TryOnCrafter, the first unified DiT-based framework specifically architected for the CaM-VVT task. Departing from implicit pixel-space manipulation, we introduce a Renderable 4D Try-on Proxy that explicitly decouples the human subject from the environment. This is achieved by distilling high-fidelity 2D try-on priors into a clothed 3DGS-based avatar, which is subsequently animated via SMPL-X sequences and metric-aligned into a reconstructed background point cloud. This proxy establishes a robust structural foundation with superior texture density and motion integrity. Our Proxy-Anchored Video DiT leverages this robust structural foundation as a primary geometric anchor, ensuring that the synthesized photorealistic videos are strictly constrained by prescribed trajectories and physically plausible deformations. Benefiting from the inherent editability of the 4D proxy, TryOnCrafter facilitates diverse downstream applications, including human relocalization, ``bullet time'' effects, and 360360-degree orbital viewing.

FitVTON: Fit-aware Virtual Try-On via Body-Garment Size Control

While diffusion-based virtual try-on has achieved impressive visual realism, most methods treat the task as 2D inpainting, prioritizing texture preservation over physical plausibility. Consequently, they often produce plausible-looking images that fail to reflect authentic garment fit across diverse body shapes. We present FitVTON, a Fit-aware virtual try-on model on different bodies in the wild. FitVTON encodes garment-body size through structured text prompts, and learn from simulated try-on triplets from parameterized garment model. To improve the fitting effects over garment silhouettes, we introduce two auxiliary head to predict the masks for both the garment and the exposed body. We further introduce a texture rectification stage to improve realistic appearance from simulated data. To evaluate the fitting fidelity, we curate a real-world dataset, FittingEffect3K, combining VLM-based scoring protocol. Both subjective and quantitive experiments show that FitVTON demonstrate authentic fitting fidelity, with significant sizing accuracy and shape preservation over state-of-the-art methods while maintaining competitive image quality. MOFA-VTON: More Fashion Possibilities with Fine-Grained Adaptations in Virtual Try-On

Virtual try-on aims to fit an in-shop clothing image onto a specific human body. An optimal virtual try-on method should provide diverse and flexible dressing options, accurately reflecting the varied wearing styles encountered in real-life scenarios, tailored to individual preferences and fashion aspirations. However, current methods predominantly perform a direct replacement of the original clothing with the target clothing, following the same dressing pattern. This limited control over clothing adaptation may result in fixed and monotonous try-on outputs. To delve into More Fashion Possibilities with Fine-Grained Adaptations in Virtual Try-On, we propose a novel virtual try-on method, termed MOFA-VTON, which allows adjustment for clothing adaptations in try-on results through simple sketches by users. Specifically, we first design a mask construction strategy that transforms user-drawn curve sketches into a dual-region mask, replacing the traditional clothing-agnostic mask and providing fine-grained layout guidance for the subsequent generation process. Further, we propose layout adjustment blocks that utilize the cross-attention mechanism to independently learn layout correspondences for upper and lower regions of the human body, refining the spatial arrangement of the two regions. With these implementations, our method enables flexible and fine-grained adaptations of target clothing, overcoming the constraints of a fixed layout. Extensive experiments on VITON-HD and DressCode datasets demonstrate that our proposed MOFA-VTON outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods and provides more fashion possibilities for virtual try-on.

OmniTryOn: Video Try-On Anything at Once!

Although video virtual try-on (VVT) has achieved significant progress, existing methods still exhibit two fundamental limitations: first, they are restricted to single-garment transfer, rendering simultaneous multi-object try-on highly impractical; second, their heavy reliance on explicit external priors (e.g., garment masks) inevitably destroys crucial physical dynamics and degrades visual quality. To bridge this gap, this paper proposes the novel Try-On Anything task, which aims to simultaneously transfer diverse wearable objects onto a person in a video in a single inference pass. To support and standardize this paradigm, we introduce TryAny-Bench, a comprehensive benchmark encompassing a paired video dataset alongside a tailored evaluation protocol. Furthermore, we present OmniTryOn, an external-prior-free generative framework designed to tackle this task. Specifically, OmniTryOn employs a First Frame Wearable Cache strategy, which directly provides diverse wearable objects for the generation process through the initial video frame. To maintain consistency, we propose the Spatiotemporally Consistent RoPE (STC-RoPE), which inherently establishes robust spatiotemporal anchors to strictly preserve complex human motions and background dynamics. Optimized by the proposed Gradual Try-On (GTO) training strategy, our model progressively masters robust multi-object synthesis. Extensive experiments on TryAny-Bench demonstrate that OmniTryOn significantly outperforms existing specialized video virtual try-on models and general video editing baselines, establishing a powerful new standard for the Try-On Anything task. iTryOn: Mastering Interactive Video Virtual Try-On with Spatial-Semantic Guidance

Video Virtual Try-On (VVT) aims to seamlessly replace a garment on a person in a video with a new one. While existing methods have made significant strides in maintaining temporal consistency, they are predominantly confined to non-interactive scenarios where models merely showcase garments. This limitation overlooks a crucial aspect of real-world apparel presentation: active human-garment interaction. To bridge this gap, we introduce and formalize a new challenging task: Interactive Video Virtual Try-On (Interactive VVT), where subjects in the video actively engage with their clothing. This task introduces unique challenges beyond simple texture preservation, including: (1) resolving the semantic ambiguity of interactions from standard pose information, and (2) learning complex garment deformations from video where interactive moments are sparse and brief. To address these challenges, we propose iTryOn, a novel framework built upon a large-scale video diffusion Transformer. iTryOn pioneers a multi-level interaction injection mechanism to guide the generation of complex dynamics. At the spatial level, we introduce a garment-agnostic 3D hand prior to provide fine-grained guidance for precise hand-garment contact, effectively resolving spatial ambiguity. At the semantic level, iTryOn leverages global captions for overall context and time-stamped action captions for localized interactions, synchronized via our novel Action-aware Rotational Position Embedding (A-RoPE). Extensive experiments demonstrate that iTryOn not only achieves state-of-the-art performance on traditional VVT benchmarks but also establishes a commanding lead in the new interactive setting, marking a significant step towards more dynamic and controllable virtual try-on experiences.

LPH-VTON: Resolving the Structure-Texture Dilemma of Virtual Try-On via Latent Process Handover

Virtual Try-On (VTON) aims to synthesize photorealistic images of garments precisely aligned with a person's body and pose. Current diffusion-based methods, however, face a fundamental trade-off between structural integrity and textural fidelity. In this paper, we formalize this challenge as a consequence of complementary inductive biases inherent in prevailing architectures: models heavily reliant on spatial constraints naturally favor geometric alignment but often suppress textures, whereas models dominated by unconstrained generative priors excel at vibrant detail rendering but are prone to structural drift. Based on this diagnosis, we propose LPH-VTON, a new synergistic framework that resolves this tension within a single, continuous denoising process. LPH-VTON strategically decomposes the generation, leveraging a structure-biased model to establish a geometrically consistent latent scaffold in the early stages, before handing over control to a texture-biased model for high-fidelity detail rendering. Extensive experiments validate our approach. Our model achieves a superior Pareto-optimal balance, establishing new benchmarks in perceptual faithfulness while maintaining highly competitive structural alignment across the standard dataset VITON-HD, proving the efficacy of temporal architectural decoupling.

DirectTryOn: One-Step Virtual Try-On via Straightened Conditional Transport

Recent diffusion- and flow-based VTON methods achieve strong results with pretrained generative models, but their reliance on multi-step sampling incurs high inference cost, while existing acceleration methods largely overlook the intrinsic structure of the try-on task. In this paper, we highlight a key observation: VTON outputs are highly constrained by the conditional inputs, suggesting that the conditional sampling trajectory can be much straighter than that in general image generation, making one-step generation a natural solution. However, limited task-specific data makes training from scratch impractical, forcing existing methods to fine-tune pretrained models whose objectives do not encourage such straight conditional trajectories. Thus, the deviation from an ideal straight path mainly comes from the mismatch between pretrained base models and the conditional nature of try-on generation, rather than from the task itself. Motivated by this insight, we encourage straighter VTON sampling trajectories through three targeted modifications: pure conditional transport, a garment preservation loss, and a self consistency loss. We further introduce a one-step distillation stage. Extensive experiments show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance with one-step sampling, establishing a new standard for efficient and high-quality VTON.

Fashion design aims to express a designer's creative intent and to depict how garments interact with the human body. Recent methods condition on multimodal inputs to support garment editing and virtual try-on. However, existing methods still (i) confine design to garment-related images, excluding creative design sources such as artwork, abstract imagery, and natural photographs, and (ii) cannot support complete outfits, including accessories. We present FEAT (Fashion Editing And Try-On from Any Design), a method that enables editing and try-on across garments and accessories using diverse design sources. To achieve this, we introduce Disentangled Dual Injection (DDI). It takes both apparel and non-apparel design sources and selectively injects design cues via content and style disentanglement. Furthermore, we propose Orthogonal-Guided Noise Fusion (OGNF), a training-free mechanism that removes residual garments via orthogonal projection and applies region-specific noise strategies to enable virtual try-on for both garments and accessories. Extensive experiments demonstrate that FEAT achieves state-of-the-art performance in design flexibility, prompt consistency, and visual realism.

SIFT-VTON: Geometric Correspondence Supervision on Cross-Attention for Virtual Try-On

Diffusion-based virtual try-on methods achieve photorealistic synthesis through cross-attention mechanisms that transfer garment features to target body regions. However, these approaches rely on implicit learning of spatial correspondences, struggling to preserve fine details such as text and illustrations. We propose a novel approach, which we call SIFT-VTON, that utilizes SIFT keypoint matching to provide explicit geometric guidance for diffusion-based virtual try-on. Our method applies domain-specific filtering to SIFT keypoint matches between garment and person images, then converts these correspondences into spatial probability distributions that supervise cross-attention layers during training. This explicit supervision guides the model to learn precise spatial alignment, concentrating attention on geometrically consistent garment regions. Experiments on the VITON-HD dataset demonstrate significant improvements on unpaired metrics while maintaining competitive paired reconstruction metrics. Qualitative comparisons show superior preservation of text clarity and pattern alignment. Attention visualizations confirm that our method produces sharply focused attention on relevant garment details. This work demonstrates that classical geometric correspondence methods can effectively enhance modern diffusion models for conditional synthesis tasks. TripVVT: A Large-Scale Triplet Dataset and a Coarse-Mask Baseline for In-the-Wild Video Virtual Try-On

Due to the scarcity of large-scale in-the-wild triplet data and the improper use of masks, the performance of video virtual try-on models remains limited. In this paper, we first introduce TripVVT-10K, the largest and most diverse in-the-wild triplet dataset to date, providing explicit video-level cross-garment supervision that existing video datasets lack. Built upon this resource, we develop TripVVT, a Diffusion Transformer-based framework that replaces fragile garment masks with a simple, stable human-mask prior, enabling reliable background preservation while remaining robust to real-world motion, occlusion, and cluttered scenes. To support comprehensive evaluation, we further establish TripVVT-Bench, a 100-case benchmark covering diverse garments, complex environments, and multi-person scenarios, with metrics spanning video quality, try-on fidelity, background consistency, and temporal coherence. Compared to state-of-the-art academic and commercial systems, TripVVT achieves superior video quality and garment fidelity while markedly improving generalization to challenging in-the-wild videos. We publicly release the dataset and benchmark, which we believe provide a solid foundation for advancing controllable, realistic, and temporally stable video virtual try-on.

Tstars-Tryon 1.0: Robust and Realistic Virtual Try-On for Diverse Fashion Items

Recent advances in image generation and editing have opened new opportunities for virtual try-on. However, existing methods still struggle to meet complex real-world demands. We present Tstars-Tryon 1.0, a commercial-scale virtual try-on system that is robust, realistic, versatile, and highly efficient. First, our system maintains a high success rate across challenging cases like extreme poses, severe illumination variations, motion blur, and other in-the-wild conditions. Second, it delivers highly photorealistic results with fine-grained details, faithfully preserving garment texture, material properties, and structural characteristics, while largely avoiding common AI-generated artifacts. Third, beyond apparel try-on, our model supports flexible multi-image composition (up to 6 reference images) across 8 fashion categories, with coordinated control over person identity and background. Fourth, to overcome the latency bottlenecks of commercial deployment, our system is heavily optimized for inference speed, delivering near real-time generation for a seamless user experience. These capabilities are enabled by an integrated system design spanning end-to-end model architecture, a scalable data engine, robust infrastructure, and a multi-stage training paradigm. Extensive evaluation and large-scale product deployment demonstrate that Tstars-Tryon1.0 achieves leading overall performance. To support future research, we also release a comprehensive benchmark. The model has been deployed at an industrial scale on the Taobao App, serving millions of users with tens of millions of requests.

Dress-ED: Instruction-Guided Editing for Virtual Try-On and Try-Off

Recent advances in Virtual Try-On (VTON) and Virtual Try-Off (VTOFF) have greatly improved photo-realistic fashion synthesis and garment reconstruction. However, existing datasets remain static, lacking instruction-driven editing for controllable and interactive fashion generation. In this work, we introduce the Dress Editing Dataset (Dress-ED), the first large-scale benchmark that unifies VTON, VTOFF, and text-guided garment editing within a single framework. Each sample in Dress-ED includes an in-shop garment image, the corresponding person image wearing the garment, their edited counterparts, and a natural-language instruction of the desired modification. Built through a fully automated multimodal pipeline that integrates MLLM-based garment understanding, diffusion-based editing, and LLM-guided verification, Dress-ED comprises over 146k verified quadruplets spanning three garment categories and seven edit types, including both appearance (e.g., color, pattern, material) and structural (e.g., sleeve length, neckline) modifications. Based on this benchmark, we further propose a unified multimodal diffusion framework that jointly reasons over linguistic instructions and visual garment cues, serving as a strong baseline for instruction-driven VTON and VTOFF. Reference-Free Image Quality Assessment for Virtual Try-On via Human Feedback

As virtual try-on (VTON) systems become increasingly important in fashion e-commerce, there is a growing need for reliable reference-free evaluation methods, since ground-truth images of the same person wearing the target garment are typically unavailable in real-world scenarios. To address this challenge, we propose VTON-IQA, a reference-free framework for human-aligned image quality assessment without requiring ground-truth images. To model human perceptual judgments, we construct VTON-QBench, a large-scale human-annotated benchmark comprising 62,688 try-on images generated by 14 representative VTON models and 431,800 quality annotations collected from 13,838 qualified annotators. To the best of our knowledge, this is the largest dataset to date for human subjective evaluation in VTON. Extensive experiments show that VTON-IQA achieves reliable human-aligned image quality assessment. Moreover, we conduct a comprehensive benchmark evaluation of 14 representative VTON models using VTON-IQA.

VTEdit-Bench: A Comprehensive Benchmark for Multi-Reference Image Editing Models in Virtual Try-On

As virtual try-on (VTON) continues to advance, a growing number of real-world scenarios have emerged, pushing beyond the ability of the existing specialized VTON models. Meanwhile, universal multi-reference image editing models have progressed rapidly and exhibit strong generalization in visual editing, suggesting a promising route toward more flexible VTON systems. However, despite their strong capabilities, the strengths and limitations of universal editors for VTON remain insufficiently explored due to the lack of systematic evaluation benchmarks. To address this gap, we introduce VTEdit-Bench, a comprehensive benchmark designed to evaluate universal multi-reference image editing models across various realistic VTON scenarios. VTEdit-Bench contains 24,220 test image pairs spanning five representative VTON tasks with progressively increasing complexity, enabling systematic analysis of robustness and generalization. We further propose VTEdit-QA, a reference-aware VLM-based evaluator that assesses VTON performance from three key aspects: model consistency, cloth consistency, and overall image quality. Through this framework, we systematically evaluate eight universal editing models and compare them with seven specialized VTON models. Results show that top universal editors are competitive on conventional tasks and generalize more stably to harder scenarios, but remain challenged by complex reference configurations, particularly multi-cloth conditioning.

When Rubrics Fail: Error Enumeration as Reward in Reference-Free RL Post-Training for Virtual Try-On

Reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards (RLVR) and Rubrics as Rewards (RaR) have driven strong gains in domains with clear correctness signals and even in subjective domains by synthesizing evaluation criteria from ideal reference answers. But many real-world tasks admit multiple valid outputs and lack the single ideal answer that rubric generation depends on. We identify this reference-free setting as a gap in current post-training methods and propose Implicit Error Counting (IEC) to fill it. Instead of checking what a response gets right against a rubric, IEC enumerates what it gets wrong, applying severity-weighted scores across task-relevant axes and converting them into calibrated per-aspect rewards. We show that naïve explicit enumeration is too noisy for stable optimization, and that two design choices: implicit score emission and group calibration are necessary to make error counting a reliable reward. As a case study, we validate IEC on virtual try-on (VTO), a domain that is simultaneously too constrained for holistic scoring and too permissive for rubric-based evaluation: subtle garment errors are unacceptable, yet many output variations are correct. We introduce Cascaded Error Counting (CEC) as an evaluation metric, which tracks human preferences well (60% top-1 vs. 30% others), and curate Mismatch-DressCode (MDressBench), a benchmark with maximal attribute mismatch to stress-test reward designs. On MDressBench, IEC outperforms RaR across all metrics (CEC: 5.31 vs. 5.60 on flat references; 5.20 vs. 5.53 on non-flat). On VITON-HD and DressCode, IEC matches or surpasses six baselines on 6 of 8 perceptual metrics. These results suggest that when ideal answers are unavailable, counting errors provide a stronger signal than constructing rubrics.

Rethinking Garment Conditioning in Diffusion-based Virtual Try-On: Decouple, Don't Denoise

Virtual Try-On (VTON) synthesizes realistic images of a person wearing a target garment, with broad applications in e-commerce and fashion. Diffusion-based dual-UNet methods achieve strong results but double the parameters by dedicating a separate network to garment conditioning. Spatial concatenation offers a simpler single-network alternative, yet both UNet- and DiT-based instantiations report that full fine-tuning is ineffective, and the community has settled for attention-only training. We ask: why does full fine-tuning fail, and can this be resolved? Through what is, to our knowledge, the first visualization study of dual-UNet reference network behavior, we identify a unifying insight: garment conditioning must be decoupled from the denoising process. Spatial concatenation violates this by embedding the garment within the denoising target, causing three conflicts: guidance leakage, gradient competition, and train-test discrepancy. We derive three design principles to restore this decoupling and implement them as a pure recipe atop a standard architecture with no modification. The resulting model, DeCo-VTON (860M params), achieves single-network state of the art, matching the dual-UNet state of the art at half the cost while being preferred in human evaluation.
