Abstract

Deploying AI agents in enterprise environments requires balancing capability with data sovereignty and cost constraints. While small language models offer privacy-preserving alternatives to frontier models, their specialization is hindered by fragmented development pipelines that separate tool integration, data generation, and training. We introduce EnterpriseLab, a full-stack platform that unifies these stages into a closed-loop framework. EnterpriseLab provides (1) a modular environment exposing enterprise applications via Model Context Protocol, enabling seamless integration of proprietary and open-source tools; (2) automated trajectory synthesis that programmatically generates training data from environment schemas; and (3) integrated training pipelines with continuous evaluation. We validate the platform through EnterpriseArena, an instantiation with 15 applications and 140+ tools across IT, HR, sales, and engineering domains. Our results demonstrate that 8B-parameter models trained within EnterpriseLab match GPT-4o's performance on complex enterprise workflows while reducing inference costs by 8-10x, and remain robust across diverse enterprise benchmarks, including EnterpriseBench (+10%) and CRMArena (+10%). EnterpriseLab provides enterprises a practical path to deploying capable, privacy-preserving agents without compromising operational capability.

SplitAgent: A Privacy-Preserving Distributed Architecture for Enterprise-Cloud Agent Collaboration

Enterprise adoption of cloud-based AI agents faces a fundamental privacy dilemma: leveraging powerful cloud models requires sharing sensitive data, while local processing limits capability. Current agent frameworks like MCP and A2A assume complete data sharing, making them unsuitable for enterprise environments with confidential information. We present SplitAgent, a novel distributed architecture that enables privacy-preserving collaboration between enterprise-side privacy agents and cloud-side reasoning agents. Our key innovation is context-aware dynamic sanitization that adapts privacy protection based on task semantics -- contract review requires different sanitization than code review or financial analysis. SplitAgent extends existing agent protocols with differential privacy guarantees, zero-knowledge tool verification, and privacy budget management. Through comprehensive experiments on enterprise scenarios, we demonstrate that SplitAgent achieves 83.8% task accuracy while maintaining 90.1% privacy protection, significantly outperforming static approaches (73.2% accuracy, 79.7% privacy). Context-aware sanitization improves task utility by 24.1% over static methods while reducing privacy leakage by 67%. Our architecture provides a practical path for enterprise AI adoption without compromising sensitive data.

EnterpriseOps-Gym: Environments and Evaluations for Stateful Agentic Planning and Tool Use in Enterprise Settings

Large language models are shifting from passive information providers to active agents intended for complex workflows. However, their deployment as reliable AI workers in enterprise is stalled by benchmarks that fail to capture the intricacies of professional environments, specifically, the need for long-horizon planning amidst persistent state changes and strict access protocols. In this work, we introduce EnterpriseOps-Gym, a benchmark designed to evaluate agentic planning in realistic enterprise settings. Specifically, EnterpriseOps-Gym features a containerized sandbox with 164 database tables and 512 functional tools to mimic real-world search friction. Within this environment, agents are evaluated on 1,150 expert-curated tasks across eight mission-critical verticals (including Customer Service, HR, and IT). Our evaluation of 14 frontier models reveals critical limitations in state-of-the-art models: the top-performing Claude Opus 4.5 achieves only 37.4% success. Further analysis shows that providing oracle human plans improves performance by 14-35 percentage points, pinpointing strategic reasoning as the primary bottleneck. Additionally, agents frequently fail to refuse infeasible tasks (best model achieves 53.9%), leading to unintended and potentially harmful side effects. Our findings underscore that current agents are not yet ready for autonomous enterprise deployment. More broadly, EnterpriseOps-Gym provides a concrete testbed to advance the robustness of agentic planning in professional workflows.

Beyond Autonomy: A Dynamic Tiered AgentRunner Framework for Governable and Resilient Enterprise AI Execution

Current large language model agent frameworks prioritize autonomy but lack the governability mechanisms required for enterprise deployment. High-risk write operations proceed without independent review, complex tasks lack acceptance verification, and computational resources are allocated uniformly regardless of risk level. We propose the Dynamic Tiered AgentRunner, a controlled execution protocol distilled from a production-grade multi-tenant SaaS platform. The framework introduces three core mechanisms: (1) Risk-Adaptive Tiering that dynamically allocates computational resources and review intensity based on task risk profiles, achieving Pareto-optimal trade-offs between safety and efficiency; (2) Separation of Powers architecture where proposal, review, execution, and verification are performed by independent agents with physically isolated boundaries; and (3) Resilience-by-Design through a Verifier-Recovery closed loop that treats failure as a first-class system state. We formalize the tier selectio
