YeasierAgent: Agentic Social Sandbox as a Canvas for Intent-Driven Creation of Platform-Agnostic Symbiotic Agent-Native Applications

Abstract

This paper introduces YeasierAgent, an application-building paradigm based on symbiotic agents, narrative worlds, and scene-aware interaction. It challenges the conventional device-coupled model of software by redefining applications as collaborative spaces among users, agents, and worlds. We present a system architecture that achieves two primary contributions: (1) enabling the rapid, cross-platform construction of agent-native applications by utilizing platform-agnostic interactive units (agents, scenes, dialogue) rather than fixed graphical layouts; and (2) unifying the emotional companionship and practical tool execution attributes of intelligent agents within a single experiential sandbox. By integrating automated generation, user-created worlds, and spatial multi-agent collaboration, YeasierAgent formalizes the category of Symbiotic Agent-Native Applications, demonstrating a shift from isolated, tool-specific chatbots toward cohesive, socially embedded computational environments.

Syll: Open-Source Personal Automation with Cross-Surface Execution

Personal AI agents must increasingly operate across APIs, shells, web surfaces, and desktop GUIs, yet many systems remain tuned to a single interface and offer limited support for user teaching and auditability. We present Syll, an open-source, self-hosted multimodal agent harness that unifies MCP/API tools, CLI execution, and visual GUI control in a modular runtime, enabling agents to coordinate computer use across heterogeneous interfaces while streamlining how users and agents exchange information. At the core of Syll is a bidirectional user-agent interaction layer: users teach procedures through direct demonstration, which Syll compiles into reusable skills; agent execution is translated back into multimodal evidence -- logs, keyframes, and approval checkpoints -- for inspection and control. Syll further externalizes memory, skills, routines, and governance as editable local artifacts, supporting straightforward inspection, extension, and downstream development. Our implementation has been validated on production desktop applications including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Stardew Valley, macOS Finder and others. We report mechanism-oriented studies that validate multimodal routing, teachable GUI replay, and persistent local artifacts. We hope Syll can serve as a practical open-source foundation for personal automation that users can teach, inspect, and continuously extend.

Building Persona-Based Agents On Demand: Tailoring Multi-Agent Workflows to User Needs

Recent advances in agentic AI are shifting automation from discrete tools to proactive multi-agent systems that coordinate multi-specialized capabilities behind unified interfaces. However, today's agent systems typically rely on hard-coded agent architectures with fixed roles, coordination patterns, and interaction flows that limit end-user personalization and make adaptation to individual needs and contexts difficult. Given this limitation, we argue that on-demand persona-based agent generation offers a promising path towards more efficient and contextually appropriate interaction within agentic workflows. By dynamically crafting agents and personas at run-time to match user characteristics, task demands, and workflow context, agentic platforms can move beyond one-size-fits-all configurations. We present a pipeline for on-demand persona generation in agentic platforms, detailing how real-time crafting of AI personas can be systematically integrated within agent systems, aiming to open new possibilities in agentic platform design paradigms.

AgentSociety 2: An Integrated Research Environment for Executable Social Science

AI scientist systems are beginning to automate parts of scientific research, but social science poses a distinct challenge: its objects of inquiry are not merely datasets or laboratory protocols, but integrated social processes involving situated participants, interaction contexts, interventions, and outcomes. Yet a critical link is missing: existing systems either assist isolated research tasks or simulate agents as experimental subjects, leaving the research workflow and simulated society decoupled. Here we introduce AgentSociety 2, an Integrated Research Environment for executable social science. It couples two roles of LLM agents in the same runtime: AI social scientists that coordinate literature grounding, hypothesis generation, experiment design, simulation execution, result interpretation, and manuscript drafting; and silicon participants that generate behavioral responses within configurable social environments. This dual-role design turns hypotheses into auditable agent behaviors, environment rules, interventions, and measurements, thereby supporting an end-to-end workflow. Across seven illustrative studies spanning micro-level social-science laboratory experiments, meso-level dynamics in social media, and macro-level urban scenarios, we demonstrate its capacity to support diverse disciplinary questions, reproduce major qualitative patterns from prior studies, identify informative deviations, and enable large-scale simulations through optimized agent-environment interactions. By preserving human researchers' high-level agency while delegating procedural orchestration to agentic systems, it provides a human-in-the-loop and controllable infrastructure for next-generation computational social science, with broader applications in scalable computational social experimentation and AI-enabled social governance platforms.
